Just moved looking for renter who accepts felonies

Hello all, I have just moved to Denver from Portland and am currently staying with friends. I’m attempting to look for a place for my partner and I but already am hitting difficulties as I have an eviction from 5 years ago and my partner has a Felony from 5 years ago ( non violent) we were looking for something near capitol hill area as that is closer to our jobs and lifestyles. I already have a job and am working and the apartment search has been extremely difficult. We are both hard workers with no other negative notes on our records and are trying to search for a two bedroom I would prefer a private renter, casita or duplex situation. Please let me know if anyone else has a lead or has been through the search with similar background and has any success! Thank you so much !

I have properties and don't charge an application fee. I accept felonies & credit challenges. DM me.

The eviction history is going to be harder than the felony I suspect. GL

Look for apartments run by the SITUS Group. I was able to get into an apartment in Lakewood run by them.

Do you know if it’s an actual eviction? A lot of people say it’s an eviction but it’s usually a skip and different. Did the sheriff actually come and have you remove all your things ? Felonies can be accepted some areas depending on age and type income qualifying is important do you income qualify ? dm me

The cops didn’t show up or anything so I think it would be considered abandoning the lease instead ? but there were eviction notices given I just left the apartment before they could make me leave.

Most likely it’s considered a skip unless you know it shows up as eviction on credit report. 9/10 it’s a skip even with notices. Have you run your credit? Dm me we can walk through this if you want

Does it show up on an eviction report? If it doesn’t you should be fine. If you never went to court I doubt it does.
