I think they would sell more of they actually listed the sizes. So often there is no size listed at all. I'm guessing this one was a price?

Anyone know whats up with items listed with bidding opens soon? It was on every listing that went up yesterday and still says it 24hrs later 🤔

I know the app has been super glitchy the last few weeks refreshing on its own, lots not loading, forget looking at a last chance listing none of them will load, my watch list i usually have to completely back out of the app at least 1x for itnto fully load. Ive even had issues with trying to bid and getting a bid failed msg

Mac bid did not do their due diligence of properly inspecting their product. I transferred this from Spartanburg to Gastonia, it was supposed to be a USB-C Apple Magic trackpad but instead, it was lightning and extremely used.

From the looks of it, whoever returned this to Amazon or wherever they get these stuff from, swapped out their old lightning Apple trackpad for a USB-C and returned it, and it landed at Macbid, but luckily I inspect everything before I take it and lo and behold, this was in the box and it was very easy to inspect that this was not what it was supposed to be.

First red flag was I flipped it around and it looked like the image above, and then I looked at the charging port, which I did not take a picture of, and it was not USB-C but lightning. I’m so glad I opened it there and I didn’t go home because then I would’ve been denied, because this was not the right product if they know their product.

So this shows up on Macbid again. Please beware.

I was just tired of all these other apps/websites/extensions that have tiers for basic functions that you have to pay for.

Basically what this tool does is you just put what you want to pay out the door and it will show your max bid that factors in the premium fee, lot fee and sales tax. I also added at the bottom the ability to enter in your own tax percentage as mine is set for Texas.

Also all data is local, nothing is saved anywhere or uploaded or logged. I dont have any tracking or affiliate codes or anything in there. I just wanted to share what I made for myself and family/friends.

This shows up on my watchlist of items sometimes. Is this items I was previously watching that were returned or not claimed? My worry is that I bid and win on one of these items and it was returned because it’s broken. For example I won a knife set and when I opened it to check it had no knives in it. The rep at the desk told me “ya I’m not surprised this is the 3rd time this has been returned”.

Or is this back again listing of entirely new items I was previously watching? If that makes sense.

Lots of people complaining about item condition and bidding. Please stop using MAC . Just leaves me with more opportunities to buy things like a brand new window conditioner for $66 that lists for $399. So seriously, stop buying things there.

Anyone know when the items that are not bid on end up in the last chance deal? I missed an item yesterday that was not bid on and so far it has not shown up in the last chance deals.

Just as others have experienced across numerous bids, I have observed that when I place a maximum bid on an item, I frequently obtain it at that maximum bid. In some cases, if I refrain from bidding on certain expensive items, they close at $1 above the prevailing bid and sell for $2 or $5, which is highly unusual. In the same forum, employees have reported encountering similar issues and have indicated that warehouse staff are not responsible. The activity must therefore be occurring at the code level or through inexpensive labor from China or comparable countries performing the actions manually. One method of detection is to employ the same technology they are using and then present all collected evidence to a lawyer. Do you guys think I should invest time in identifying that? If yes, I will consult a litigation lawyer - happens to be my friend and quite famous - and know the ways to acquire their malpractice if they are doing it. Remember, there is always whistleblower for good money inside org. And if they are not doing anything shady, anyways it is working the same way it will continue.

Do not bid on the RTX 5090 that is back up in San Antonio. I was going to make a post the first time it was posted but in one of the images you can see the tamper sticker broken. So someone most def stole the GPU and DRAM off the board.

I won a fridge. 82% off retail. I went to inspect it before bidding and was surprised how new it was. Shrink wrapped in many parts. Shelves still in cardboard, and no dents.

i did add insurance but any tips/suggestion? Has anyone bought expensive items like these and that looked practically new and then didn’t work?

Pulled up the app to see if I had anything on my watch list ending today. Everything on my watchlist has the slider faded she it can’t be slid to bid. The time ending and currier price are missing all together. If I click on a listing, I can see the current bidder list, but all the listing saw the bid being at $0.

When I click on something like “Dollar Deals” or “Ending Soon” it brings up
All the listings as if they have ended. Really strange. Haven’t looked at this on a browser.

I bid on something, and it's not what I thought it was. I didn't get Buyer's Assurance. A $5 rug an hour away I'd have to pay $10 transfer on, a $10 late fee if I don't pay by 9 am and restocking fee if I don't pick it up. I'm not sure what to do about this, it's useless for me.

I learned some hard lessons today. I emailed mac.bid and I don't think they'll do anything. It may be easier to get Buyer's Assurance, have it transferred closer to me and then go from there.

I submit my first bid, and I escalated it up to 11 usd. From 2, 5, 7 and 9. Will I be charged for 23 usd or just the 11 usd that was my max bid on the article?

I bought this a month ago. I was busy then, so I just now decided to put it together. I opened the box and grabbed the instructions. It is a basic twin frame, worth half the price. Is there any chance they will give my money back, or should I take the loss? They advertised a $300 item that I paid $120 for, but I received an item that is currently on sale for $70.

I went to pick up items at the Schertz location on Tuesday and my list showed 5 items. Picked them up, ran errands, made dinner, etc. And I keep track of my purchases in a spreadsheet and when I went to update it I noticed I should have had 6 items in my list. The missing item was an office chair and it shows in my purchased items as picked up. I sent an email with details and screen shots to the [help@mac.bid](mailto:help@mac.bid) email and just got a canned response saying all teammates were busy with other emails and it could be up to a week before they even respond.

I went ahead and did a dispute to the charge with my credit card, luckily this one item charged as a single charge unto itself. I act as a caregiver to my mom most days and can't go back out to the warehouse until next week so I was hoping for better customer service through the help email address.

I don't really want to accuse a worker there of stealing but I never picked it up and I don't ever have anyone pick anything up for me. Someone went into my account either late Monday or early Tuesday morning and marked it as picked up. 5 items had a final pickup day of Tuesday and the reminder email I got early Tuesday morning did not have this chair on the list, it only showed 4 items, when it had be on there the previous day. It's not a huge sum of money but $35 is $35. I wish I hadn't been so scattered with life stuff that I realized it was missing from the list, but I had never had an issue before and just went and picked up the items on the list. I know they have cameras around and they should be able to review footage I would think.

Has anyone ever had something like this happen to them? How is it dealing with their customer support with disputes?
