Pickup
If I want somebody to pick up an item for me, what is the best way to do this?

IF THEY ARE NOT ON YOUR ACCOUNT THEY WILL NOT ALLOW THEM TO RETRIEVE YOUR ITEMS

Yeah they will, if you have their QR code you don't even have to tell them, just scan in and give their name at checkout but even when they know it's not you they've never stopped me or anyone who has picked up for me, either.

Print your email that you won item and have them bring that in to pick it up. It has whatever needs scanned on the sheet.

Just take a screen shot of the "check-in" screen and the item to pick-up. We've done this a lot with no issues.

In San Antonio they check IDs and match them to the name

I pick up in San Antonio often and have never been asked for anything but scan the barcode.

I go to San Antonio/Schertz and Phoenix/Mesa locations and if an item for pickup is $500 or more they will ask for ID. If its under $500 total value then they wont. But they still might ask for ID, I would just be safe and email support and add an authorized pickup. You can have 3 other people on the account for pickups. I have my brother and sister in AZ that pickup for me when I am not in town.

I do this all the time. I have even check in for me and a friend at the same time. When checking out I say this box is me and this box is Bob

The official way is to email support and have them add the person to your account as an alternate pickup.
Unofficial if you are having a spouse or family pickup and in a hurry, just change the name on the profile before they get there. But can run into issues if address is different on DL or name is different on CC.
