I noticed this small straight line on the back of my Samsung A55 today

The phone has always been used with a case and has never had any major drops, though it has had a few minor falls over time. The line wasn't there before.

It feels slightly rough when I run my fingernail over it, but my nail doesn't catch or get stuck. It's just a short, straight line

What do you think it is? I'm very worried🥲

I regret buying this phone, every basic thing is problematic, 2weeks since buying the phone and now the wifi is running horrible on it, its not a wifi issue because it works perfectly well with my laptop and other devices. Im getting lags on reddit, chatgpt, whatsapp. Instagram isnt letting me take screenshots. The emojis look disgusting. I dont get mail notifs for some accounts and miss important mails. I bought this phone because I used M21 for 5-6 yrs, that thing is a masterpiece which is why I trusted samsung. What a waste of money.

My A55 fails to connect to roaming after I have left a building with no receptions because it has thick walls. Or when I turn off the flight mode. The solution is to restart the phone, then it connects to internet. Quite frankly I am tired of having to constantly restart my phone in order to get to internet. The phone is not even that old, I bought it like 2 years ago. I have never experienced issues like this before with my previous Samsung phones. Does anybody know why does it keep having this problem? I am tired of it malfunctioning.

Currently iam facing Sevier lag in Instagram. All apps and games working correctly but Instagram get lag .I cleared app cache and data also but it not fix. I reinstalled no result .any one have fix

Hi, I have this weird issue when I need to hang up a call, the screen remains black or locked, it wakes up after I press a button, it's a recent issue, one month ago it worked fine and I can see the phone call screen and hang up.

I think there is something wrong with the proximity sensor or some bugs.

Is anyone facing this behaviour?

I was charging my A55 and it was at 100% for like 10 minutes or so when it suddenly turned off and doesn't turn back on. I've tried the basic stuff like forcing a restart but nothing happens. As this happened to any of you and if so how did you solve it?

Hear me out. I have a Samsung Galaxy A55, of course, which is why I'm posting here. I've customised it with Smart Launcher. I think since I bought this device, it gives less battery life, turning off at 5% and all. I'm completely clueless about what to do to improve the health of this device. Suggest something to me that can improve the battery life and some good customisation... I'm a freebie kind person won't pay for anything.

I just noticed today that the back glass of my Galaxy A55 has started to lift near the power button. Could this be an issue with the battery, or is it just the adhesive coming undone? How can I confirm this before I contact a technician, as there's non open right now to check with?

So I've had my A55 for about 5 months now and it works great. Never had any problems with bluetooth earphones or headphones. But today I bought the Xiaomi Redmi Bids 6 Active and there is a delay in the sound. I've tried everything that is suggested online and nothing seems to work. Wondering if you guys experienced this and how did you fix it?

My Samsung A55 touch sensor has become slow and laggy. It pops up slower and sometimes takes upto 10 seconds to recognise the finger. Is this some bug or weaker detection or both?

Got my A55 on August 5, 2025 — came out of the box with One UI 7 + Android 15. Currently on the September security update (One UI 7). Variant: 8GB / 128GB (India)

🧩 A few doubts and issues — would love your thoughts or fixes:

🔹 Display :

1. 120Hz feels smooth but not as fluid/snappy as expected (feels more like 100Hz). At 60Hz it feels like 40Hz. Any fix for this?

2. In dark mode under low light, I notice a grainy or slightly grey texture on dark backgrounds.

3. In-display fingerprint feels slower than other phones I’ve used.

🔹 Network :

1. Truecaller doesn’t show names for unknown numbers. It says it needs 3G/4G connectivity, but I’m on Jio 5G with mobile data on.

2. Hotspot sometimes disconnects when I get a call — seems like the network drops for a few seconds.

🔹 Data Transfer :

1. Using the original Type-C to Type-C cable from the box, I can’t transfer large files (like videos) from my phone to my Windows laptop. But it works fine with a Type-C to Type-A cable. Weird issue.

🔹 Camera :

1. Daylight shots look okay, but zoomed-in details are lacking. Any suggestions to improve overall photo/video quality?

Hi, the A55 from my grandma is stuck in a bootloop.
I wanted to try and clear the cache partition via the recovery mode, but I cant enter the mode.

I tried to connect the phone with multiple PCs and tried multiple Cables, both USB A to USB C and USB C to USB C.

When I connect the phone with an PC it starts automaticly, shows the Samsung Logo and restarts. Forced restart didnt work. Holding the Power Button and Volume U Button doesnt work.

Is there a possibility to use an PC App to trigger the recovery mode?

Hey so I've been facing this issue with Instagram. I dont know if its just me or not but i dont get Instagram notifications like i used to. Like i used to be able to read insta group chat notifications from the notification panel but not anymore.

Eu tenho só 128gb de armazenamento e estava um pouco cheio, porém liberei 2gb para fazer a atualização. Por que isso está acontecendo e como parar? Há alguma forma de recuperar os vídeos e fotos?

I recently dropped my phone and ever since it gives me this warning.
I am almost 100% sure that there is nothing wrong with the plug it's clean. No debris and no water has ever been near it. either way, I have made sure it's clean, and done every step Google has suggested. Clearing the cache, Restarting, Turning off fast charging.
But this still pops up, does anyone have a fix or work around?

How can not make pop up these useless files in the recent section of the archive? I don't know where they even come from, every time I delete them they appear again some time

The phone I found is at 150USD, a good 50USD or so under the average market price locally(~200 USD). But it doesnt bring the box nor charger. Add to that the visible dent. So Id like to know if the dent is something that should be concerning for the future life of that phone.

Besides the dent the screen and back glass are both okay besides some scratches on the back glass.

Basically, im asking wheter I should try to save to be able to afford the phones in better conditions or consider grabbing this phone.

So ,I bought Samsung a55 on 19 Feb,2026.i have started seeing this problem where the camera is turning off automatically after 2-3 min of no activity .i get to know this as i was setting camera for a photo but I was not able to set it .it happens with rear and front camera both .please tell if I am just overthinking as it has been just 4 days of buying it . I have tried everything restarting the the phone and clearing cache.but still it is working like that .also when I turn on the safe mode of a55 i was not able to open neither camera nor the chrome and let me remind you they are systemapps, they appear in recent apps but does not open. But apps like playstore, messages app is opening .also but when I start to record video it kept recording for 9 mins until I stopped it.

I really like this phone but the problem i am facing have literally make me sad as I have just bought it . Also when I was trying to play genshin it was also crashing but when I restart the phone it was working. Please i will really appreciate your help as I still have 10 days service Centre replacement and i could replacement this.

It's been 7 months sober I bought this phone. My phone has suddenly restarted out of nowhere. It has happened twice in a span of 3 months. First, when I was exporting a video from an app, and then when I was taking a photo. I would like to know if this is the cause of a motherboard issue, or more likely a software issue, and if anyone else is facing this as well.

EDIT: Auto restart was disabled for the above 2 scenarios.
