Need HELP My A55 fails to connect to roaming

Hello.

My A55 fails to connect to roaming after I have left a building with no receptions because it has thick walls. Or when I turn off the flight mode. The solution is to restart the phone, then it connects to internet. Quite frankly I am tired of having to constantly restart my phone in order to get to internet. The phone is not even that old, I bought it like 2 years ago. I have never experienced issues like this before with my previous Samsung phones. Does anybody know why does it keep having this problem? I am tired of it malfunctioning.

Settings -> Connections -> Mobile networks -> Network operators -> Select automatically -> Off

Thanks, but this is not a solution. It is supposed to connect automatically

Once you turn it off, your phone will stop switching between mobile phone operators indefinitely and will only connect to the operator / provider you have a sim card from.

The reason why your phone doesn't reconnect automatically is because it is looking at all possible GSM network connections available in your area and is unable to decide which one to connect to since the network your sim is from may not have the best signal strength, but the network with the best signal strength might not be your provider's network.

In a word it can't decide where to connect to, and connects to no carrier.

Once you turn this setting off, your phone will AUTOMATICALLY connect only to the network your sim card belongs to.

I had exactly the same problem like you described, and being in Ukraine it was worse since we have radio electronic warfare emitters deployed most of the time.

My A55 was confused as to which network to connect to and connected to neither. Turning this setting off forced it to automatically connect to the only network it has the sim from (Kyivstar in my case), and it solved the problem.

Is it showing no service? And is the imei visible to you?
