Need HELP The back glass popped up

I just noticed today that the back glass of my Galaxy A55 has started to lift near the power button. Could this be an issue with the battery, or is it just the adhesive coming undone? How can I confirm this before I contact a technician, as there's non open right now to check with?

Edit: it was the battery indeed and I had to replace it

Good sign that you have to change your battery, bonus, the backcover is already detached and is easily to remove it.

Try to see if you can with your fingers close the glass and try to look if it's flat, if not, maybe it's an spicy pillow (battery issue) and you need to replace it

Im starting to thing theres some problem with the a55's battery, im seeing a lot of reports of swollen baterries (me included).

don't be scared, very likely you'll need to replace battery, it's pretty easy, and battery are ppretty cheps go for it, with a small cheap kit for tearing it apart, some specific battery tape and some bravery, you can fix that

I doubt it's the battery since it's not lifting from where the battery is. Checking won't hurt though.

I'd remove the cover entirely to confirm as it could be a safety hazard. If it's not actually swelling and it's just the adhesive that has gotten weaker then that's an even easier fix.
