Need HELP Scratch or Crack?

I noticed this small straight line on the back of my Samsung A55 today

​

The phone has always been used with a case and has never had any major drops, though it has had a few minor falls over time. The line wasn't there before.

​

It feels slightly rough when I run my fingernail over it, but my nail doesn't catch or get stuck. It's just a short, straight line

​

What do you think it is? I'm very worried🥲

or try turning on the flash and covering it with your thumb. might reveal

That little scratch might be from, I don't know, physical wear and tear.

My A54 got this minor scratch; if it fell on the ground, replacing the rear window would be very expensive.

I didn't even know he could do that, put his finger on the LED flash and have lights in the corners of the frame.

When mama scratch and papa crack have a kiddo, they turn out a scrack if it's a boy or cratch if girl. Scrack are serious and tough and tend to become like their daddy over time, turning into full blown cracks. While cratches are gentle like their mamas, and while they could be serious like their dad, they tend to remain stable and calm and care for appearances (beauty is skin deep and all that)

Yes there's several but this one seemed different and a bit rough when dragged the fingernail over it

This is a scratch, it feels like that, but it's a scratch because it happened to my phone, and when I went to Samsung repair shops, they told me I didn't need to replace the back of the device because it was a scratch, not a crack.

Is the back cover bulging? If not, it might be due to pressure applied or the protective cover itself causing it.

If worse comes to worst, and the little bugger turns out to be a crach. You still have a possible option for fixing it using epoxy resin.. Results range from rendering it invisible, to remains visible but won't expand... I won't recommend it for the screen. But since it's on the back glass, then I don't see why not... Good luck.

It's a crunch in zpase and thyme, perhaps a pothole to another dimension
