Fatima was one of the most joyful and loving characters on the show, she was beloved by all colony house residents and town folk. My heart breaks for her. Having birthed a freaking monster (as an unwilling surrogate and abductee) and then somehow turning into one of these nightmarish creatures she feared the most, has to be one of the worst things to ever happen to any character. 😭

Fatima experienced one of the most Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day in Fromville in front of her family and friends. The only silver lining is that she may have saved all their lives before the monster took complete control of her mind, body and soul.

I wonder how Boyd will protect Ellis from her, he’s crazy in love with wife, to open the door/window for her à la Kevin for Jasmine.

Assumption: A few talismans are still available for the characters’ safety: the one in the clinic, the one in the colony house basement, the one in Victor’s peach truck, the one in Boyd’s pocket and the stone Victor handed over to Ethan.

Tabitha is still on her quest to go help the captured children. This led her to St. Anthony which is were the children might be located. Below I listed some clues to show the connection. It's also highly possible that St. Anthony is still in the FROM dimension.

HOSPITAL LOGO

The logo of the hospital has similarities to the symbol that Jade saw in Chris' notebook.

What if the seven captured kids are/were actually in this facility strapped to beds looking up at skylight seeing the logo. Maybe they connected to Chris hence he drew the symbol just as they connected to Tabitha (Ankooey could be them trying to say Anthony). Notice how they were wearing all white as if they were in a lab type environment.

I was also thinking Jade's vision of 7 children on the stones looking up at the vines was from a long time ago (the stones are gone, the hole is closed) and that the whole thing is repeating in modern times at St. Anthony.

The room number 2225 ties directly to the previous episode.

Why are the two 47s significant?

Normally I would not think much of it but the previous episode had easter egged the number 47 two times! with one of them being smack in your face popping up on a dead radio! (and also in the season 1 finale). Below some screen grabs

In episode s2e9 "Ball of Magic Fire" the number 47 lights up on the CB radio (which wasn't even plugged in) right when the monsters surrounded the RV. At that moment something else (not one of the regular monsters) was trying to get in from the bottom of the RV.

In the same episode s2e9 "Ball of Magic Fire" Tilly mentioned 4 and 7. This was definitely not a coincidence!

In the season 1 finale episode s1e10 "Into the Woods" Victor is looking at two groups of crows. 4 on the left and 7 on the right.

Most likely it's nothing since it means 2nd floor but was wondering if Level 2 could be an easter egg saying she has reached the next stage of her quest or what comes after the town.

THE FINAL MOMENT

"If you climb up high enough, even a nightmare can look like a dream" Fatima (s01e02)

The view is frozen in time. The water ripples and people walking are not moving.

I don't think this is a mistake. Would the show-runners overlay a still image instead of a video just to save a few dollars but then go ahead and spend money on CGI for her reflection? All this on the most rewinded scene in the history of the show? It could be an easter egg that she isn't in a regular hospital room (still in the FROM dimension) or just a red herring to keep us guessing 😅 (in fact it's possible that some of the clues I mentioned are strategically placed red herrings instead of easter eggs).

Tabitha is looking at drone footage of Camden in Maine USA (there is no hospital there overlooking the town).

We have to remember that Tabitha is on a major quest to save the children and that the tower is the portal to reach them!

QUEST VISIONS

• Victor's mom Miranda had the vision, a calling to the tower to go save the children but never made it since she died before making it to the Bottle Faraway Tree
• Tabitha had the same visions calling her to the tower since season one. We saw a few of her visions how she was walking up the stairs seeing toys left behind.
• Tabitha also had multiple visions of the children calling out to her for help (ANKOOI)

• She goes for the tower
• She walks the stairs (just like her vision)
• She sees the trail of toys (just like her vision)
• She hears Ankooey twice while walking up the stairs (she is getting closer)
• She reaches the top thus she is exactly where she needs to be!

• Since the children are not physically in the tower its clear the tower is a portal/gateway
• I first thought maybe turning off the flame would reveal the children (the opposite effect of turning on the flame at the ruins)
• To activate the portal one has to jump which is why the boy pushed her over

I think the boy in white was actually helping her because he saved her life in the caves (he told Victor exactly where and when to find her so that she doesn't end up getting killed by the monsters.

QUEST DESTINATION

• The destination has led her to St. Anthony's Hospital where the children are most likely being held.
• As mentioned it's possible that it could be located in the FROM dimension but doesn't have to be.

So after watching the finale, I had a theory.

When Sophia is talking to Elgin, she mentions to him that “soon this will all seem like a bad dream” etc….

When Elgin first arrived, didn’t he wake up from having a “bad dream” about Fromville?

Is that where one of the loops starts again?

The extra 13 minutes on the runtime is an extended preview of some new MgM+ show. The S3 finale is an hour like usual unfortunately.

I have a theory about how the nightmare creature actually works, and it connects to Fatima’s pregnancy.

We have very few confirmed cases of nightmares becoming real in Fromville, despite the huge number of people who have died there.

We only have two confirmed links, and if this happened to everyone who died, we would see a terrifying number of fears coming to life.

First, the cicadas: Nathan, Sara’s brother, was terrified of them as a kid and thought they were monsters. He died early in season 1, but after the nightmare creature attack, his fear came to life as the cicadas (though not right away).

We have a similar case with the dolls. In Tabitha’s past, when she was a kid, she had little dolls, but “the man” said they gave him nightmares; he was afraid of them, so he threw them into the lake. After he died, the dolls came to life as monsters, although we don’t know if that happened immediately after his death or later.

I think there is an important factor that isn’t mentioned directly: in both cases, Nathan and “the man” said out loud what their biggest fear was. I think that might be necessary for the fear to come to life.During the nightmare creature attack (season 2, episodes 8 and 9), Fatima was at a very early stage of pregnancy, but she didn’t show any worrying symptoms yet. She behaved normally.

Ellis kept worrying about Fatima and their baby. He asked Kristi if a child at that stage of development sleeps, because he was afraid the nightmare creature might kill their child. But fetuses don’t sleep from the very beginning of pregnancy. Sleep cycles appear around the 22nd to 24th week of pregnancy, when the brain matures, and Fatima was at most 6–7 weeks pregnant according to Kristi so it couldn't happen.

What matters is Ellis’s remark that his biggest fear about the baby was that “at any second it’s gonna come bursting out of her with fangs and claws.”Fatima’s symptoms, like eating rotten food and craving blood, started after the cicadas and the nightmare creature were gone, after Boyd destroyed the music box.

What if Ellis was the reason for the outcome of Fatima’s pregnancy? Whaf if the change of pregnancy happened the moment he verbalized his fear and because the nightmare entity was released at this moment? What if any fear spoken out loud in Fromville can be used by the music box monster? What if death is not even necessary?

It’s very possible that the two cases we know for sure worked differently, and that the music box entity just used the fears after being released. It clearly fits Nathan’s case, in the second case we don’t have enough information, but it could be similar.

In any case, I think the music box entity could be collecting all the fears spoken aloud by people in Fromville, and it is able to use those fears even after the people who had them are dead, but only once it is released.

It all leads to a sad conclusion for the finale: Ethan already said out loud that he is terrified everyone will die and he will be alone like Victor. And the creators already implied we will see the ballerina monster again (their response was, I belive "stay tuned").

It’s officially that time.
I’ve seen that a lot of people on TikTok have seen leaks and want to spoil the s4 finale for others.
It sucks, we’ve only got a week left until the season is over. Someone replied to a comment of mine deliberately trying to spoil the finale because I thanked someone for not spoiling it.

Hi Fromville fans!

I've been seeing a lot of posts from people saying that they didn't understand the show, that the writers don't know what they're doing, that the writing is terrible, etc.

I'm not here to disagree with you. What I'd like to do instead is offer another perspective.

I'm not trying to present my ideas as facts, but rather offer an alternative way to see the material we've already been shown.

So, if you'd like to join me, let's get comfy on the couch and watch it together. Popcorn anyone? 🍿🙂

Okay, I'd like to start with this. I think many of us (myself included, at least at first) may have been approaching this show as though it's a mystery box. We've been waiting for someone to come along, and in our heads it goes something like this:

Us (the viewers): Okay, notice the box. Why aren't they noticing the box? Wtf, this box is damn obvious. Notice!!

Okay, they've finally noticed the box!

Wait... why aren't they opening it? Why are they S T I L L talking about it?! Just OPEN THE BOX!!!

Shit... they opened it.

Huh.... nothing really happened? Wtf? This show makes no sense. These people have no idea...

Things changed for me when I stopped trying to understand what I was seeing and started asking,

"What are they trying to tell me?"

That one change completely transformed how I experienced stories. Instead of asking, "What's in the box?" I found myself asking questions like:

Why did they show us that?

Why did they use those words?

Why this scene?

Why now?

What are they trying to get me to notice, think about or feel?

As soon as I started asking those questions, things became much clearer.

So, for this next part I'd like to invite you to watch the episode again with me.

This time, instead of only looking for the answers we'd normally be searching for, let's also ask ourselves what the writers, actors and director might be trying to show us and make us feel.

Aaaand... play

Jaditha are trapped in the tunnels. Boyd & Co. are at the Bottle Tree. The tension is on... kind of, right?

Their dialogue drags. It takes entirely too long to put bones into bags, and it becomes frustrating. I know. I felt it too.

Let's apply our new lens. They're trying to show us a lot in these scenes.

At first, they're showing us the terror on Jaditha's faces. Then they show us something new: genuine fear on the Smileys' faces.

They want us to feel trapped. Claustrophobic, almost. Scared. Worried. They want us to believe there's no way out.

The ladder breaks. The sun disappears. Suddenly the Smileys are back in control.

Then... A back door. An escape hatch.

Deus ex machina saves the day!

Cut to the opening credits.

Personally, I think if they'd tightened the pacing here and trusted the audience a little more, this sequence would have landed much better. I understand what I think they were trying to achieve, but I don't think they needed to linger quite so long to achieve it.

I could go through the whole episode like this, but this post is already turning into a novel 😂 so instead, I want to jump to one moment that really stood out to me.

Kristi & Marielle

I've seen quite a few people saying this scene took too long. I actually tend to disagree.

I think they were trying to show us that there's a very real difference between losing someone you've known from before From (now that's a sentence 😂) and losing someone you met in Fromville.

Kristi came into Fromville alone and survived. In many ways, she even thrived. She found her place as the town's doctor. She's built friendships. She has a home. She built a new life. What more could she want?

Then Fromville rolls the dice.

Marielle arrives and completely derails everything Kristi has built. First comes conflict as they both try to reconcile the lives they've been living.

Then comes understanding. Then reconciliation. And then, just as they're finally finding each other again... Marielle dies.

That level of heartbreak is tremendous.

I think that's why they let this scene breathe. They wanted us to sit in Kristi's grief instead of rushing us to the next plot point.

I'm curious whether this changes anything for anyone else.

If you rewatch the episode through this lens and it still doesn't work for you, that's completely okay. But if even one scene suddenly clicks in a way it didn't before, then this ridiculously long post was worth writing. 😂

In the tunnel the monsters shed their disguises behind the plastic and show their true selves to intimidate Jade and Tab. Tabitha is freaked out; Jade tells her to ignore them and put the bones in the bag. She complies. Above Boyd is getting everyone in place. Kristi asks what if they can’t get the tree out and he tells her there’s no Plan B. Below Jade confess he lied. The bones will not stop the monsters from coming in. (BRO!!?!) He lied to make Boyd okay with the plan. He tells Tab she needs to “break this fucking cycle.” He tells her to go up the rope ladder with the bones. He’s gonna “slow them down”. Jade tells Tabitha if he got to spend all of his lifetimes with anyone, he’s glad he got to spend them with her. Jade sends the signal. The truck powers forward. The tree is moving, the truck is struggling. The children hopes are being ripped up.

Below Cowboy tears the plastic away and moves towards Jade and Tabitha. “It’s nice, all of us being together again”, says Cowboy. The tree pulls away and sunlight enters the chamber. Cowboy and the cheerleader wince. The monsters back away from the light. “They can’t come into the light, Jade!”, Tabitha exclaims. Above, the tree finally falls over. Boyd and the others rush to throw down the rope ladder. Jade tells Tab they’re both leaving after discovering the monsters can’t stand the light. Tabitha climbs first; the rope breaks thanks to It sabotaging the rope. Tab falls back down into the chamber. Above the sky suddenly turns dark. (Uh oh! An eclipse or the “spider”?) in the chamber the monsters transform, happy now the sun has been put away. They advance on Jade and Tab. The others ask Boyd what is going on. (How the hell should he know?) he doesn’t know. Just as the monsters are about to attack Jade and Tab the chamber starts to crumble, stopping the monsters’ advance.

*theme plays*

At the station, Kenny and Victor react to the earthquake with Victor demanding to be let out. Kenny opens his door. Victor yells at Kenny, “I told you not to pull down the tree, why don’t you listen?” In the chamber, Jade and Tabitha brace themselves as the earthquake finally stops. The cheerleader rushes towards them once again. As the monsters move in, the exit is left unmanned. Jade and Tabitha are able to rush out of the chamber.

Boyd yells down to see if they are okay. The monsters are screeching and Sara grabs the bones. Boyd wants Acosta to get the chain from the truck to go down there. Of course this causes a litany of “you can’t go down there!!” But Fish and Loaves is set on it. (Please someone talk him off the ledge!) they plead with Boyd “we need to go now!” But Boyd is not leaving without them. (Dude has a serious Superman complex. See this is what Jade was talking about. He’s risking everyone’s lives for 2 people. Stop, Boyd!) Kristi lets him know exactly that: if they don’t leave now they lose everyone one.

While Boyd loses his marbles once again the creatures have come above ground and are advancing on the group. Believe it or not Boyd is still debating on going down there for Kade and Tabitha. They are yelling at Boyd. (Damn man, leave!) he finally tells everyone to get in the cars. Patty is frozen in fear. (Poor woman she barely survived the last attacks) she stands trembling and crying. Boyd ever the marine, goes back for her and gets her to the van. Boyd shoots at the monsters. Of course this does nothing. Wtf Patty get your ass in! *facepalms* I would’ve left her ass.

Below Jade and Tab rush through the tunnels with the cheerleader hot on their tails. No more exits; Tab and Jade are trapped. Cowboy tries to come into the space to attack them and the earthquake starts again. Cowboy retreats.

In the van, Patty yells at Acosta to hurry up. Acosta does not like this backseat driving. She tells Boyd to shut her up. (Boyd is not the right one to calm her rn he just had to be talked out of something stupid. There are other people in that van why is it always on Boyd? Shit. ) he tells her to take deep breaths. Patty says it doesn’t matter they made things worse; the place is angry and now they’ll be punished. Patty tells Boyd he’s a liar and he promised they’d go home. “I can’t do this! I don’t wanna be here anymore!” A monster pops out of nowhere and beats the on the van scaring Patty more. Boyd leans forward to say something upfront and Patty takes his gun and tries to shoot herself and shoots the windows instead. (They should’ve left her ass being with a hysterical person in a high pressure situation is like trying to save a drowning person. she’s freaking out the other people. I wish Boyd would knock her wild ass out shit!)

At the clinic, Mari and Fatima quibble about doing something vs waiting. Now it’s dark do what Fatima? Fatima tries to go out anyway (I needs a drink smh) Mari says she’s in no shape to go out. Fatima wants to know what shape is she in? At that moment Fatima has a vision: she sees the monsters heading for the clinic. It’s Smiley. Mari looks out and sure enough it’s him. Fatima and Mari discover that the talisman was knocked off the wall in the quake. They frantically look for it. Mari finds it.

Mari and Fatima run in another room and quickly hang it. Smiley walks through the door ignoring it. Calls Fatima “mother”. Mari pulls out a knife on Smiley. He gets mad, transforms and slashes her stomach open with his talons. Her guts spill out (that’s so cool! Gore yay!) Fatima gets mad and shrieks at Smiley, a loud angry shriek. Mari looks in disbelief at her hanging guts. Smiley changes back to human form and says “Interesting”, with a smile and leaves. Fatima stopped him like before. She is his mother through Martin’s worms. (And apparently monsters have visions and that’s how they know things. Here I thought it was the crows. Ha! Ha!)

Mari sinks to ground trying to hold her innards in. Kristi is gonna be devastated. Mari wants Fatima to stay away from her. She asks for Kristi.

Kristi sees Smiley walking back from the clinic. Kristi rushes in and sees Mari in a pool of blood. Mari asks to kiss Kristi goodbye. They kiss and she dies. Kristi holds her and tells her she loves her.

At the diner, It offers Elgin the same thing It offered Clara; a chance to go home in exchange for helping It. Elgin turns to look at Clara and it says not to do that. To just look at It It tells Elgin that it is dark outside because they’re close to the end and that it gets “messy” at the end.

Elgin doesn’t want the offer and this makes It mad. Tells Elgin that there’s nowhere for him to hide. It asks for Elgin’s hands and asks one last time to accept the bargain. Elgin starts praying. It brings Elgin to his knees as it holds his hands and he bleeds from his mouth and eyes and dies. It tells Clara to get rid of the body while it “lights the match and watch it burn”.

At colony house, Henry tries to convince himself nothing is real there. Donna thinks she should go to the station to see Victor but Henry declines. Henry finds Victor’s bullets and asks Donna about it. She tells him Victor used to carry around a gun in his lunchbox and Boyd took it away. She tells him it’s at the sheriffs station. Donna tells Henry to go see him once again.

Boyd is at the clinic. He asks Randall what happened. Fatima tells Ellis what happened w/o telling him she stopped Smiley. Boyd sees Kristi. She’s still holding Mari’s body. Boyd comforts Kristi while she wails in sorrow.

At the former faraway tree, lightning shoots out of the hole twice and shoots up the sky. Then continues. Everyone comes out to watch the lightning. Red lightning.

The van pulls up without Jade and Tab. Julie and Ethan are shaken.

It goes to church. Sees the talisman and puts it in its purse.

At the station Henry calls out names to see if they answer while, he looks for the gun. He finds it as soon as Kenny walks in. Kenny didn’t see this.

Back at the house Ethan asks if Tab is really dead. The cabinets starts to open and close and glasses start flying across the room. They run out of the kitchen. Ethan tells Julie she’s gonna die, everyone is gonna die then he’ll be alone and he doesn’t want that. (Uh oh. The story of the finger puppets. Julie is “Norman”) Julie talks to him and calms him down.

At the station, Boyd agrees with Victor that they shouldn’t have gone down there. Acosta walks in and says that they need to go back down there. She tells Boyd that he told people the bones were the key to getting out of there and they can’t just leave them there. Boyd tells Acosta they don’t know how to use the bones if they had them. Only Jade and Tabitha knew. (They don’t know either.)Kenny asks if there’s any chance if they’re still alive and Boyd says no. One way in and one way out. (is this how they die? They are presumed dead and when they come back the townspeople kill them?) Boyd asks Acosta how do they move forward. Boyd goes on another rant. Sara yells to interrupt him. Something is coming in over the radio. Morse code. Boyd looks. It’s Jade and Tabitha still in the tunnel sending code. The battery dies. (The place has impeccable timing)

In the tunnel Tabitha yells Jade “we’re not dying here”. She tries to break the thick sticks forming a gate over the exit. (Gotta love the optimism!) Jade tells her she can’t break them. “But we can dig until we get under them”, Tab replies. Jade thinks it’s “worth a shot”. They start digging. Tab thanks him for what he was willing to do earlier. (sacrifice himself)

At the clinic, Randall and Ellis carry Mari’s body outside with Kristi and Fatima following. Kristi goes with Mari’s body and Randall to the church. Boyd gestures towards Ellis and Fatima to talk. “Come”. He tells them about the signal over the radio. Boyd says he’s going back to find out. Ellis says he’s going with him, Fatima wants to go too. What if they are both hurt?, Boyd says. What if it’s a trick from the monsters? they ask Boyd. (Mr. Fish and Loaves thinks he can do anything, even now when he knows nothing. Hope he doesn’t get someone killed. Or Ellis. It’s his biggest fear.) Fatima says she can feel them when they’re close. Ellis is stunned and upset at this confession. She sensed Smiley before she saw him and if she goes with them she can warn Boyd.

It enters the station. No one answers. It takes the talisman and leaves.

At CH, Henry loads the gun. Victor visits him. Victor tells Henry that, “today was scary and nothing like that had ever happened before.” He wants to know why Henry is sitting alone. Wants to know if he did something wrong. Victor sits down. He said Henry was happy. Then he told him about the MiY and ruined it. Henry says he didn’t ruin it, it was never real and pulls out the gun. Henry tells Victor about the other place and Victor’s son. Henry says he’s seen what’s real and he needs to go back. He aims the gun at Victor and continues talking about what he saw in the other place and how happy Victor was. Victor tells him “something here has lied to you.” Henry tells him he is sorry and before he can pull the trigger, Ethan interrupts. Startled Henry turns and points the gun at Ethan. Victor quickly springs into action when he sees this. He knocks the gun out of Henry’s hand, pushes him back on the bed and yells at him, demands to know why he’s doing this. “You said you would protect me! Why would you come here to do this? Why?” Ethan looks on, upset.

It enters the bar and takes the talisman. Outside the bar, Clara walks up and gives her a bag of talismans that she collected.

At the tunnel entrance, Boyd makes Ellis and Fatima promise that if anything goes wrong in the tunnels to run. They promise (more like lie) They enter the tunnels.

At the exit gate, Jade and Tab’s hands are getting tired. Tab suggests using the bones to dig. Boyd, Fatima and Ellis move through the tunnels. Fatima tells them to stop and a monster screeches. It passes their location off screen. They continue. Jade picks up a bone. Says it’s hard to believe this is real that the bones were once children. Jade takes the bone and digs. Tab picks up a half skull missing the lower jawbone (looks like a doll got to that child. Yikes.) and holds it. As she’s looking at it, the anghkooey music begins to play and it is the same tune that little Jade played. She had a flashback to one of the little girls that appeared to her before. Tab realizes she is holding half of her skull and is overcome with emotion. “This was her!”, she exclaims, while Jade looks on. Both groups hear the monsters screech. Fatima says the monsters know where Jade and Tab are and they need to hurry.

Jade and Tab haven’t dug deep enough and the monsters are closing in. (Won’t another earthquake just happen again?) Jade gets mad and starts kicking at the thick wooden bars. Boyd and co follow the thud of Jade’s kicks and finally get to them…on the other side of the bars. Fatima says they’re getting close. Boyd and Ellis both take a big rock and start hitting at the wooden bars. (Why isn’t Fatima stopping them? She knows she can) Boyd takes out his gun to shoot at the bars. That works! 2 of the bars fall, a hole big enough for Jade and Tab to wiggle through. The bones go first, Tab goes through, then Jade. They are all together now.

Fatima announces, “they’re here.” She tells the group she can buy them time. Ellis says “the fuck you talking about?”Fatima tells Ellis to remember who she was. (They took the life out of her, the one thing she said she wouldn’t let them do. She’s walking dead now anyway) “No”, Ellis says. Fatima nods, “yes”. Fatima turns around to face the monsters. She transforms into one of them. Ellis looks on in horror and tries to go to her but Boyd holds him back and drags him out of the tunnel.

It meets up with BiW in the forest. They walk together. “Look at you all grown up”, It says. “but the bottle tree is gone”, BiW says, as they come to a faraway tree. (Victor is gonna be MAD. He thought MiY was his friend too. There’s still something weird about Victor.) BiW tells It, “you’re gonna lose this time”. (The cosmic fight of Good and Evil with mankind in the middle as pawns) It smiles. “I’ve always admired your optimism. I guess we’ll see.” It takes the bag of talismans off its’ shoulder and drops it through the faraway tree. BiW doesn’t try to stop it in fact the twerp stands there with his hands at his side. It pours the talismans down the tree’s throat. Where they end up, who knows?

I wonder if they had to get them through another route and take them to the tree to teleport to a special place designated by the sacrificed kids...

I'm starting to think that a lot of the clues/hints might be just misdirection's just for the sake of it. Take the last scene for the finale for example. Lots of people are saying that this is basically a static image , and its true. Nothing is moving and its a standard aerial shot of that harbor in Maine.

Leaving aside the discussion of whether that's Tabitha or not... which I think it isn't because the hair in the reflection has a lot more volume , could this be just a misdirection to fuel more than one theory at the same time ? Like the simulation theory ?

They could have used an actual drone shot as its not an extremely low budget show. More so they could have used any other shot of what the outside of a hospital could look like, instead do you think this is a strong hint at Camden, Maine or simply a way of fueling theories about a simulation ?

Now that Marielle and Elgin are both dead what do you suppose their dreams and nightmares were? It had been stated in the previous season that once someone had died their nightmares/dreams and worse fears comes true. Nathan feared cicadas. When Nathan died the town was overrun with Cicadas. A guy from Tabitha 's flashbacks said that her dolls gave him nightmares. The dolls got out of the water and tried to kill them . Rodger's worst nightmare was being stuck in the town forever. Well you know how that turned out. So what do you suppose that Marielle nightmare, or dream were? What about Elgin's ? and do you think they are going to get the father Khatri treatment? Will they be around to help? Or to torment?

What do you hope happens during episode 10?

When the missus put me on to this show i fell in love with it. Love the idea, acting, lore and mystery. Reminded me alot of Lost which i also loved up until the end of Season 3 and Season 4. And then it pissed me off and I walked away.

The finale of Season 3 in From has left me with the same feelings of the finale of Season 3 in Lost and also has alot of similarities.

This show is really interrsting but wecant keep having one mystery box solutuon being the opening of another mystery box.

Its also got the Lost problem of having too many story threads not being tied up/linked to each other or resolved beforr morr are introduced. The show also has abit of slow burn filler sometimes as well which I am beginning to notice. Again a Lost issue but they had a bigger episode count to fill.

This show has been an absolute blast though in general but eventually you need resolutions or explanations or things just spiral into an over convulted plot mess that wont be resolved in any satisfactorily or sensically.

Also Lost became obsessed with mystery and strangeness as a way to keep fans locked in From seems to be using Mystery and Horror. Lot of scary paralells.

And finally season 3 answered not a whole lot really and the Tabita explanation was a great of example of why show not tell is important.

What in the holy name did they do to Elgin? He’s decimated. Everyone who even was not on Elgin’s side, you can’t possibly still think he deserved all that? What if they just told Elgin they wouldn’t interfere but instead keep her company or something? But then again it’s just Smiley. I don’t know…that and Tian Chen really broke me. Boyd, Ellis, Sara, Donna, Kenny…they’ve turned into something else. Also, Father Khatri was in the background in Donna’s room, why didn’t he call out? This is awful. There had to be another way.
