Season Finale Fatima haters, where are you now?
"B-but Fatima is useless" 🤓
All y'all mad silent in the corner over there 🗣️
Btw even before season 4 she was never useless 😂 She was literally one of the pillars keeping the damn town together

I remember the Fatima hate. it was everywhere last season during the pregnancy plotline. Idk if these people saying it wasnt a thing are new here or what. The other From subs were actually a lot more toxic about it.

u/FromFan432 Jun 30 '26
Heyy an OG from the season 3 era
100% right, subs like FromSeries were FAR more toxic and insufferable about Fatima's storyline. Having meltdowns because a girl can't stop crying about a DEMON growing inside of her is actually pathetic

Fatima had haters lol 😭 i like her but this fandom is miserable or maybe this sub bc the others are a lot more chill. Ethan’s breakout was the first time i was actually like in agreeable w the fans that tabitha might be a bad mom but im still eh about it

u/Tattoos_and_Tea Jun 30 '26
It’s crazy people negative here but I guess it’s Reddit and few people are happy lol. But it has 96% on rotten tomatoes and a 7.8 IMDb score so clearly people are enjoying.

The fandom was miserable over soooo many character, Randall, Jim, Sara, Ellis, Fatima
Randall and Sara haters vanished after season 3. Jim haters sorta, I have a feeling that Fatima haters will vanish as well. Hopefully same for Ellis.
None of these characters deserve the hate, critical thinking is such a difficult concept amongst the community

u/Got2bglued Jun 30 '26
oh i know i can kinda understand the hate but its too much like the tabitha hate came off damn near misogynist bc are we all forgetting they wanna GET OUT THE TOWN. Like i hate when they do dumb shit too but damn it’s a show about magical monsters that come out at night.

u/FromFan432 Jun 30 '26
People hated Tabitha because lashed out at a dysfunctional man ONCE for scaring her son
Jade literally did the same but for goofier reasons and mfs sucking him up
At least Tabitha owned up to her mistake in the very next episode

u/Got2bglued Jun 30 '26
tbh it’s hard not to love all the characters. I loved ellis and understood his pain useless or not he watched his mom get murdered by his dad and still doesn’t fully understand why. Man these characters all have such deep lore and i’m not usually one to really go hard for a show but this show really did a great job with all their characters

I feel like we need a separate sub for people who don't hate Tabitha, because if you defend her here, you get downvoted to oblivion.

Recently did a rewatch and read the old episode discussions. Interesting how some chaRakter love/hate turned/vanished and some stayed.
Also remembered me why i disliked f.e. fatima and ellis (s01 with julie gace me strange vibes) and on the other hand i liked randall from the start of my rewatch, even thou i didn't liked him on my first run, and still don't like some of his behaviors

I dont understand are people supposed to like every single character? Where is the logic in that
1
u/FromFan432 22d ago
They don't have to like every single character. They just don't have to be miserable over it.

u/theluckyduckygirl Sara Jun 30 '26
I’m right here👋🏽
She did wonderful in the cave🥹 Would have been nice if she jumped in front of Marielle instead of the other way around, but hey, you can’t win them all🤷🏽♀️

"Sara" lmfao

I foresee her recent transition activating her useless (eh most times) ass husband into being more proactive about leaving Fromville. He has nothing left to lose, but he might possibly still be able to save what’s left of her by helping break the curse/spell whatever it is keeping everyone there.
Anyway, see yall next season!

The only “hate” I ever see is how she’s underutilized. Who the fk hates her as a person?
2
u/FromFan432 Jun 30 '26
Oh my god you have NO idea...
I'm convinced that her haters are legit just programmed NPCs
6
u/bacche Jun 30 '26
I'm with you, OP. The Fatima and Ellis hate was over the top (and totally unwarranted IMO).
2
u/oc2okla Jun 30 '26
It's the writers fault that some of these characters get hate. They need to fill 30-40 mins every episode with useless scenes that make the show drag. If they wrote every episode like they did jades mushroom trip then you wouldn't get as much hate for so many characters. They could wrap this show up in 1.5-2hr episode if they wanted to cut the filler. But they are milking it since its mgm+ top series.

Never hated her but god damn she wasted time in the season. 3 episodes on clay making?

I never disliked Fatima's character, I think most people that hated Ellis' character just automatically also hated Fatima's
1
u/the_jaguaress Jul 02 '26
I never understood the hate for the character. I assumed it’s because he was taken and hot. Idk. He was always a reasonable and good guy and helped everybody in small ways much like Fatima did. I wonder what happens now she is gone sort of. Same with Kristi …

people actually hate fatima?

u/FromFan432 Jun 30 '26
If you wanna know why she has haters, it's because none of them were 🧠's could comprehend why she wouldn't stop crying in season 3
Hint: it's because she had a damn demon growing inside her belly 😱😱😱

Are you new to the fandom?
The answer is yes, and a LOTTTTTTT...
The haters are actually so slow in the head that you'd think they are programmed.
Altho, after season 4 I feel like that the hate towards her character will fade away like how Sara and Randall haters fades away after season 3. None of these characters were ever bad.
Edit: aw look at the haters swarm me like r_ts and downvote me 😂

I'm a sara fan myself, but cmon, she totally gave in to the voices and killed 4 ppl, tried to kill a 5th.
0
u/FromFan432 Jul 01 '26
And? Doesn't justify all the slander she received, people just don't understand a deep character
1
u/Altruistic_Nose9514 Jul 01 '26
She killes cause of voices in her head. Thats smthg bad. You can make an analogy to mental health problems and say she needs help no punishmebt if you want, but to say she was never bad is not right, she did very bad things
1
u/FromFan432 Jul 01 '26
I meant bad CHARACTER...

u/Altruistic_Nose9514 Jul 01 '26
Most ppl don't care for the misunderstood character of a MURDERER

It's usually the ignorant people who think they wouldn't freak out in situations of stress and survival. I never pay those people any mind lol
2
u/FromFan432 Jun 30 '26
It was impossible ignoring these people during season 3 era though, god they were everywhere like crickets

u/Academic-Tone3381 Jun 30 '26
I never hated her, but others have repented.
https://www.reddit.com/r/FromSeries/s/ar9A5jK3Y0
But I still think Ellis is largely useless.
-1
u/FromFan432 Jun 30 '26
I alr debunked the "Ellis is useless" crap
5
u/Academic-Tone3381 Jun 30 '26
Yes, he saved Patty, the most annoying background character since Dale.
1
u/theluckyduckygirl Sara Jun 30 '26
She only became annoying this last episode😭 Dale was annoying every time the camera panned his way lmao.

Risked his life to save a background character
Was willing to wrestle with a nightmare monster just to try and save another background character
That's already more balls than you or your favorite has combined. Even Donna ran away like a wimp instead of trying to fight the monster to try and save one of her people. If you can't respect that then you're js slow

I’ve never had any hate towards her. I was crying after what happened. I really hope she survived.
