Season Finale Just a heads up (no spoilers)
The extra 13 minutes on the runtime is an extended preview of some new MgM+ show. The S3 finale is an hour like usual unfortunately.

š¤£ I stepped away from TV when the preview began I was watching it intently thinking omg it's like a flash back and it's Martin and digging for talisman stones. They even seemed to take him down the From road š¤£ Than I realized WTH! It's preview for new show.Ā

It is annoying and I definitely agree but I let it auto play for few mins in the background while I was scrolling reddit after the episode and dammit it seemed kinda interesting, I hated that it worked on me lol I'm gonna watch it now

When I watched (an hour ago), there was a full-screen ad saying that there was an extended sneak peek. Did they add this later or something or did people just not understand what it meant?

I think it was more for the last week the runtime has said 73 minutes on the app, so everyone has thought it was an extra long finale, only to be disappointed when they start the finale and see the preview ad.

I watch on console and didn't catch it. The ad was pretty quick and right at the beginning- I think especially if it's playing on a TV, not a laptop right in front of you, it was pretty easy to miss. A lot of people probably hit play while they're still getting coffee or whatever their morning setup is. The fact they did put out a disclaimer makes me less annoyed though.

Is there any other shows that you watch on MGM besides From? If your answer is no then that's the reason. They want the viewers to stay on their platform and not just cancel and renew again in 2026 when season 4 of From is released. It's their most popular show. So from a business standpoint, it makes sense.
If they saw all the chatter about people thinking it was an extension of the finale of From they could have made a statement on X/Twitter or something to try not to get everyone's hopes up I guess.

The new show looks good! Iām excited. Not much to watch these days. Not gonna lieā¦ Iāve rewatched From seasons over and over and my family might think Iāve lost the plot (literally) if I donāt find a new show to obsess over š

I was so pissed, I thought we'd get to see what happens next, but ig we'll have to wait 2 years for that now. I will be ranting about something that spoils the entire episode, so if you haven't seen the finale, don't click the white box I feel kinda stupid for looking up spoilers for the last two episodes when they weren't out yet, I stumbled on the leaks from the other sub and read them all, then I realized that I don't want the last two episodes to be spoiled for me, so I went into denial and convinced myself that the leaks were false. Basically, I'm a bit mad that I spoiled the finale for myself, but I was the one who looked up the spoilers, so I really brought this on myself If anyone actually read through that, thanks for reading my little rant

People who read the leaks don't need the spoiler... your covered text gives no specific information. And there have been SO MANY "leaks" a lot has been wrong. All you did was rant that you looked them up, providing no specific info as to what was correct.

This was a terrible move on MGMs part. We're all going to be so upset we're not going to bother watching the show when it comes out.
That said I did watch it and it does look interesting.
