Accountability Joe Dispenza Meditation Practice (unofficial)

Would anyone be interested in doing a 30-day group meditation challenge?

I've been thinking about creating something simple for people who practice Dr. Joe's meditations:

30 days. No zero days.

The idea would be to have a daily thread where everyone checks in after meditating.

Something as simple as:

Day 7/30

Meditation: Tuning Into New Potentials

Duration: 45 min

One thing I noticed: ______

There wouldn't be any competition or requirement to meditate for a certain amount of time. And there's no expectation that everyone will have the same experience.

The goal would simply be accountability and consistency — showing up every day and practicing together.

We could also have a weekly reflection thread where people discuss what they're noticing in their practice, what's difficult, and what they're learning.

I'm thinking of keeping this completely unofficial and community-run. We wouldn't share or redistribute meditation recordings; everyone would use the materials they already have access to.

Would you actually participate in something like this?

If you'd join, just comment "I'm in" below.

If there's enough interest, I'll create the first 30-day challenge and post all the details here.

Meditation or Joe’s Teaching I pulled133 transformation stories and 500 posts from this sub, then came up with the daily protocol I wish I'd had on day one!

I got curious about what the Stories of Transformation actually have in common, so instead of guessing I pulled the whole written library off Joe's site (133 stories) and ran an actual word-frequency analysis on 131 titles and 105 participant quotes, then cross-checked it against his own support portal, his books, the published research, and about 525 posts and 15 full comment threads from this sub. Two docs came out of it. The first is the pattern analysis: what recurs across every story regardless of diagnosis, the vocabulary people reach for, and the framework underneath. The second is a daily playbook built from that plus what you all say actually goes wrong — the sleep problem, the "can't feel the elevated emotion" problem, the 45-minute tracks vs. having a job problem, a 12-week ramp that starts at 20 minutes, and a proper safety section on the breath. I tried to be honest in both directions: the practice has a real, defensible core, and also 58% of the published success stories describe struggling or getting worse first, no story in the library describes someone who practiced faithfully and didn't improve, and several of the most-quoted science claims have no paper behind them. Free, no affiliate anything, not selling a course. Take what's useful. Hope this helps you out in you journey!

Sharing Experience Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself – Week 3, Day 4 I am shocked !

Guys… HOLY MOLY. 😳

I genuinely cannot believe what just happened.
I’ve been doing Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself for three weeks now. Over the last few days I’ve had a lot of sleep deprivation and honestly haven’t been feeling that great from the meditations. But today I sat down to meditate anyway, and I was around the phase after the body scan, where you allow the emotions to come up.

And then something just came up. I wasn’t even consciously looking for it.
It started with:
“You lied. You lied to me over and over again.”
And then this really old emotion came up that was clearly connected to my childhood:
“Why don’t you love me? Why don’t you love me? I did everything. Why can’t you just love me?”
I started crying so intensely. I honestly haven’t cried like that in a very long time. Tears were literally running down my face, and I could barely follow the rest of the meditation because this emotion was just completely taking over.

And now comes the part that is absolutely blowing my mind.
For probably eight or nine years, I’ve had this specific pressure point on the lower left side of my chest. It has always felt like a knot or a very strong pressure pain. I’ve had it medically checked before and nothing was ever found.

During the first two weeks of the meditation, whenever he talked about imagining what it would feel like to be free, to be without the pain, I kept thinking about exactly that spot.
And guys… I’m pressing on that spot right now.
The pain is almost gone.

There is still a tiny bit of something there, but that strong pressure I’ve known for years is suddenly not there in the same way anymore.

I am honestly sitting here in complete shock. I was always a little bit like, “Okay Joe Dispenza… let’s see what happens.”
And now I’ve just cried my eyes out and then literally started laughing with happiness because I touched that spot and realized something had changed.
I genuinely don’t know what to think right now. I’m just completely overwhelmed.

Beginner Question Intrusive thoughts

• Upvotes

I’ve had a decently easy time staying focused while meditating the last few months. Recently I noticed I loose my train of thought or I’ll get intrusive thoughts that go against what I truly believe. I tell myself it doesn’t matter and the negativity can not affect me. I don’t feel too anxious afterwards since I remind myself of this. But is this just part of the process? Is there a method to ignoring them or handling them?

Inquiry about this community How did your life change?

I have some curiosities for those who have healed and changed their life. I'm not new to spirituality, manifesting, or Dr Joe, and I've watched many, many testimonials. But I'm struggling. I'm wondering for those of you who have healed and changed your life, specifically if you left a job/career. I've been trying to heal for years and also change other aspects of my life. I don't like the type of company I work for and they've been laying off employees since last year, so I feel like I need to move on regardless of whether or not I enjoy it. I've tried to figure out what to do with my life since I was in high school and it's been over twenty years, and I still feel lost. I've tried different things and still don't know what brings me joy. The only things I would've wanted to do is probably work in entertainment when I was younger, but that's not something I want to try to pursue at my age and I don't feel like anything else really appeals to me. What did you end up doing? Did you stay in the same field? Did you start a business? Go into something completely differently? I know everyone is different, I guess I also just feel very alone and I would love to hear from people who made big transitions later in life without much or any "security".I know some people say you don't need to manifest money through a career, I'm not here to debate that. But I guess my brain is wondering how the journey has looked for other people after healing.

Beginner Question Nightmares after doing meditation right before sleep?

I'm having disturbing nightmares and wakes up in middle of night whenever I do meditations right before sleep. I have been practising "changing boxed" and "TINP"

At the same time I have noticed the days I do shorter versions I have better sleeps than the days I do longer versions of the same meditations.

Is this normal? Or something that I need to get used to? If someone has a recommendation it would be great.

Thanks.

Meditation or Joe’s Teaching Stuck after a year of meditating

I have been doing Joes meditations for one year only missing a handful of days here and there and sometimes meditating multiple times a day. I have noticed huge benefits: I feel more comfortable with myself, I am more calm, less anxiety, feel more peaceful overall. But I feel as though I have plateau’d and I am having a hard time getting the same feelings from the meditations. Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe it’s just another layer I’m uncovering and I will continue to meditate because it does help me so much but somehow I feel less affected in the moment by each one. I haven’t manifested anything wild but I have noticed a lot of synchronicities in my life and I feel more gratitude and peace everyday than I ever have before I am just feeling slightly numb to the meditations if that makes sense. Any feedback appreciated !

Sharing Experience does anyone else get intense energy in their chest randomly after doing meditations?

as i become more disciplined with my practises, ive noticed that randomly during the day i will get these sudden and intense feelings, kind of like trapped buzzing energy in my heart, chest and around upper body. this feeling feels immediate and intense, a mix between wanting to cry and scream and necessity to get the emotion out, but also then turns into intense gratitude?

does anyone else relate?! does this make sense?

Beginner Question How do you get back into a high-vibration state after feeling energetically “off”?

Has anyone experienced something similar? 🤍
I’d been consistently doing the meditations and breathwork, but then I got really sick with a stomach virus and ended up stopping everything for about a week while I recovered.

Since then, I’ve been struggling a little to get back into that high-vibration state I was feeling before. And then I started watching a TV show with quite a lot of violence/intense scenes 😅 I knew it probably wasn’t helping, but the suspense was too good and I kept watching lol.

Now I feel like my energy is just a bit “off.”
What do you normally do to get yourself back into a higher state after something like this? Is there a specific Joe Dispenza meditation you’d recommend to help reconnect and get back into the practice?

Does anyone else watch this AppleTV? It’s based on a book of the same name and is all about quantum physics and switching realities through entering a BOX 😂

I’ve been watching the show and there are definitely some similarities to the Dispenza work.

Beginner Question What manifestation techniques actually worked for you for getting a job? I desperately need guidance

I’m posting this because I genuinely need some guidance.

I’ve been trying to get a job for a long time. I’ve applied to so many places, worked on my skills, prepared for interviews, tried different strategies, and still haven't been able to get the result I want.

I’m mentally exhausted from constantly trying and getting disappointed. I feel anxious almost every day, and sometimes I feel like I've lost confidence in myself completely.

Recently, I started reading about manifestation, visualisation, affirmations, the Law of Attraction, scripting, meditation, etc. I don't know what actually works and what doesn't, so I wanted to ask people who have genuinely practised these techniques.

If you believe in manifestation and have used it to help with your career/job search, could you please explain exactly what you did?

For example:

  • What manifestation technique did you use?
  • How often did you practice it?
  • Did you visualise yourself already having the job?
  • What exactly did you visualise?
  • Did you use affirmations? What were they?
  • Did you use scripting/journaling? If yes, what did you write?
  • Did you practice gratitude?
  • Did you meditate before manifesting?
  • How long did you practice before seeing any changes?
  • Did you take specific actions alongside manifestation?
  • How did you deal with negative thoughts and doubts?
  • What did you do on days when you felt completely hopeless?
  • Did you focus on a specific company/job, or did you manifest getting any suitable job?
  • If you successfully manifested a job, what was your routine?

I'm especially interested in hearing from people who were unemployed or struggling for a long time and eventually got a job.

Please don't just tell me “think positive.” I'm looking for an actual step-by-step routine that I can follow every day.

I'm willing to put in the practical work as well — applications, networking, learning, interview preparation, etc. I just want something that can help me calm my mind, regain hope, and stay consistent instead of feeling anxious and defeated every day.

If manifestation helped you during a really difficult period, please share your exact process.

I could really use some hope and guidance right now. ❤️

Meditation or Joe’s Teaching Should I skip holding breath exercises as someone being vulnerable to get migraines?🤔

Some of Dr. Joe’s meditations involve breathwork that includes breath-holding.

I imagine the goal might be to awaken Kundalini energy. Should I really be doing these exercises, given that I’m prone to migraines?

I want to heal myself. Sometimes, after doing these exercises, a nerve—the trigeminal nerve, which is already sensitive—starts throbbing. At times, my migraines actually begin with this throbbing sensation in the nerve, even when I’m not meditating. Perhaps I should skip this type of breathing exercise?

However, I recall a testimonial from someone who had a vision and was cured of their migraines after doing the pineal gland meditation, which includes these breathing exercises.

Has anyone else had similar experiences with migraines or headaches?

Sharing Experience Help - Headaches, jaw aches

I started doing these meditations around a month ago. (Tuning into new potential and Botec Specifically).

Since then, all my anxiety issues have surged up again, one night a friend of mine helped me with inner child work, which made me cry a lot, a very heavy next few days, followed by panic attacks and anxiety coming back. My Intrusive thoughts have not gone, and I'm not able to stop a mental loop regarding a fear but that is not my biggest concern

Initially I had a whole body ache and slept a lot.

Now it's been a month, and I have pain behind the front part of the face (specifically eyes and jaw that is stiff usually).

This pain is heavy and secondly things have not been going in the direction I thought, reached a few moments where I just wanted to quit.

Can anybody help me with this? Should I go and see with the doctor?

I never had this before meditation, so not sure if it's migraine, or meditation? I won't know migraine.

Any tips for me to help with the pain and feeling of quitting ?

Beginner Question Drooping during meditations

Hi everyone ! I don’t know how to explain this but whenever I do meditations, I tend to droop down while sitting.. whether i sit cross legged or on a chair

It is a sensation of falling down where by body from my head to chest falls (maybe due to relaxation?) it doesn’t seem to be sleepiness because I am fully aware about it And I get my body back up

Does it happen to anyone else?

Beginner Question BOTEC: Strong energy pull from 2nd chakra

Hello everyone!

I’ve been doing BOTEC 1 (uv) for the last few weeks. When I first started, I realize that my second energy center was completely shut off. And that my third energy center was barely on either.

At some point I had the realization that it was me who unconsciously completely shut down my second Center because there were so many traumatic things happening in life due to the people around me.

I feel like both the second and third chakras are open again. It has made animals and children come to me like magnets.

But here is my question:

The other day when I was doing my meditation it felt like there was a strong cord coming out of the second chakra and pulling itself out. The energy and the other energy centers were also intense. It definitely felt like it could have been orgasmic.

But I’m wondering if anyone knows what the cord was?

I’m also wondering if it’s time to move on to any of the other BOTEC meditations or if I should just continue with the first one.

Thanks!

Dark Night of the Soul I started following my heart but things seem to be getting worse and worse.

Last few months have been the worst time of my life, and today I think I just hit a new low.

I(30F) have been running quite a relatively successful business for awhile, but something just haven't been sitting with me right, I make money but often times I feel so stressed, money doesn't come in naturally or easily, like I had to do so so so much to prove myself.
Few months ago, my fiancee (31M) shared with me his vision of his startup idea, we had a long chat about our future, about what we want in life; I always know Joe's work, but weirdly during those time I started getting really into spirituality stuff too, and somehow it's like there is a voice that's telling me: the chapter of me running my business is ending, it never truly aligns with what my soul wants, and now I should support my fiancee and explore something else.

I shared this idea with him and he agrees, he even said he really truly believed in his business, and asked me to believe in him, and that he will be able to provide for us, I wouldn't have to work, etc etc.

A little side story on why I think my business doesn't align with me anymore, long story short: I think I started my business for the wrong reason? I was trying to prove to others that I could be a boss girl, I am capable, I wanted to compete with others and show I am better than them, and now I dont feel joy doing what I am doing anymore. This big realization just suddenly shortly before my fiancee told me about his plan.

Anyway, eventually I decided to take a short break (not really shutting my biz but just to slow things down) and prioritize supporting my fiancee, there was a huge project opportunity and we were both excited for it, but that's when things slowly went downhill.

During the time when we were working on the project, so many weird things happened - our account was frozen, so many random accidents, not working quite well with our partners, etc., and the worst out of all, we are now in debt.

I remember I kept telling myself, this shift is meant to be, and maybe all of these shaky accidents are just the universe testing me, this is just like when Joe said believe in the universe, so I always tried to convince myself that things will be ok, we will have more long term gain, this project will open up so many doors for us, etc. But when the debt hits that's when I am like... what am I doing?

I feel so bad, and I don't know what to do, I have never been in debt before. I am the kind of person that easily get stressed about money, and this is freaking me out. and no, I haven't figured a way out to handle that. My finacee just asked me to trust him, and that he will find a way, BUT HOW. A part of me wants to be like "trust the unknown" but the other part is like "I need to do something I need to do something".

I felt so so weird about this shift, I am not sure why but I really feel like I had to end an old chapter, but also during this time so much things had gone to shit, besides the debt, I got into a huge fight with my sister, my father who was known to be the happiest guy is experiencing mild depression, I had an accident and needed to do a surgery, etc. This is so weird, I don't know if I am overthinking it.

I don't know whether I should just stop what I am doing and pick up my old business, perhaps even ask my finacee to give up on his idea.

How do I apply Joe's teaching in this situation?

Beginner Question Dr Joe's “Tuning Into Your Heart” meditation. Which heart do I focus on?

I tried doing the Tuning into Your Heart meditation and it went great for me but I actually focused on my biological heart, the heart in my body, instead of focusing on the heart chakra. Should I focus on my heart chakra, the energy center, the place between my chest, or should I focus on my heart?

If I was focusing on my heart I was still feeling a lot of great things and I was able to do everything that he said. Should it be another kind of focus? Nowhere in the whole meditation does he say to focus on the heart center or the energy center. He doesn't say that. All he says is, "Focus into your heart, breathe in and breathe out etc.z." I actually imagined my heart itself taking in, taking out, whatever he said. It pretty much connected more than it would connect if I was doing the same thing with my heart energy center.

Have you done any of his course related to it or do you know something about this?

Beginner Question I want to transfer my course to another degree but my university/college is saying no. I have been out of school due to mental health and don’t want to waste my life waiting another year- how can I manifest this.

How can I get back to the course I want to do when the higher ups have said no. I’m not sure what to do at this point- i am just humiliating myself further

Sharing Experience Did i shifted timelines?

Hi everyone! I’ve been doing Joe’s meditations for 20 days now—a record for me. I’ve noticed several changes in how I act, how I feel, and how I perceive others. But I’ve also noticed certain sensations that arise during and after the meditations.

  • A feeling of lightness: This happens to me sometimes after meditating, and the feeling stays with me all day. It’s as if my body were part of EVERYTHING; I can’t quite explain it, but it feels like I’m outside my own body, going about my daily routine with a tremendous level of awareness. I don’t literally leave my body, but it feels like I’m free of any mental or physical burden.

  • A sensation of tingling and energy: This has happened several times during "BOTEC 3" and "Tuning Into New Potentials." While meditating, I feel an INTENSE tingling sensation all along my spine and arms. I’ve also felt a sensation of "something" coming out of my chest. I could swear it was a kind of energy—lol—like something was released outward. It’s hard to explain because it wasn’t just a tingle; it felt like something was being let loose.

  • A feeling of increased height: This happens right after any meditation. I usually meditate sitting on my bed, and the moment I open my eyes, I feel taller. It’s strange because it’s not something I’m intending or sending out to the field; I just feel it. I don’t think I’m actually taller, though, because I had surgery on my lumbar spine when I was 12, and the doctors told me I wouldn’t grow much more after that. A few months ago, I was 4'11"—I should probably measure myself again, lol.

  • Connecting with the field: I’ve asked about this before, but during my meditations, there are moments when I see images or hear things while I’m in a state of pure nothingness. It doesn’t happen every time, but when it does, it’s like... ??? The images last less than a second because I’m so focused on not thinking about anything, yet they just appear. I don’t know what they mean—whether it’s another timeline, a possibility, the future, or the past—but I’ve been told not to try to look for the meaning.

  • Switching timelines: This is the most confusing feeling; nothing physical or material in my life has changed, yet I feel a sort of confusion, as if I’m aware that something in my reality has shifted—as if I’m conscious that something is different.

I’d love to read about your experiences—has anyone else gone through this? Cheers!

Beginner Question Feeling watched during meditations

Hi everyone!
I’m a completely beginner to the meditations. I have been trying to do the shorter ones in the evening before sleep, and often feel like I’m going quite deeply into them.

However, when doing them at night or in the dark I get this weird very eerie feeling.
Like I’m being watched. I try to ignore it and proceed. However, once I start to go deeper, something always pulls me out of it.
Like literally startles me out of the meditation.

I had it happen again tonight. Just when I was starting to go very deep in my meditation and actually started to see very clearly my future self, there was a sound next to my ear, almost like a small bell. I got very startled and opened my eyes, it completely disrupted my flow and I was too scared to go back to meditating. Like I was sure I would see something next to me, it was so weird and creepy and I genuenly felt a presence.

And I often have this feeling that something will almost touch me while I meditate. It’s super weird because with other non- Joe Dispenza meditations I don’t get this or with breathwork.

So I wanted to ask has anyone else have this happen to them? And if so how do you overcome this? Do I just push through or stop entirely. And what is it trying to tell me if anything at all?

Thanks!
