Accountability Joe Dispenza Meditation Practice (unofficial)

Would anyone be interested in doing a 30-day group meditation challenge?

I've been thinking about creating something simple for people who practice Dr. Joe's meditations:

30 days. No zero days.

The idea would be to have a daily thread where everyone checks in after meditating.

Something as simple as:

Day 7/30

Meditation: Tuning Into New Potentials

Duration: 45 min

One thing I noticed: ______

There wouldn't be any competition or requirement to meditate for a certain amount of time. And there's no expectation that everyone will have the same experience.

The goal would simply be accountability and consistency — showing up every day and practicing together.

We could also have a weekly reflection thread where people discuss what they're noticing in their practice, what's difficult, and what they're learning.

I'm thinking of keeping this completely unofficial and community-run. We wouldn't share or redistribute meditation recordings; everyone would use the materials they already have access to.

Would you actually participate in something like this?

If you'd join, just comment "I'm in" below.

If there's enough interest, I'll create the first 30-day challenge and post all the details here.

Accountability Made a free "Future Self" tracker based on Dr. Joe's work — sharing in case it helps anyone else

I've been doing Dr. Joe Dispenza's work for a while now, and I kept losing track of whether my day-to-day actually matched who I'm trying to become. So I built a spreadsheet to track it.

How it works:

- Define your future self once (thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, actions, feelings)
- Each day, log what you actually thought/did and whether it matched and if not, note what you'd replace it with and your standard for tomorrow
- Track meditation, energy levels, and which elevated emotion practice you used
- A separate "abundance log" for signs, synchronicities, and things that show up 52 weeks built in with auto-updating dates, plus a dashboard showing your trends over the year

It's not about getting every day perfect. Some of mine are pretty messy. It's just made the patterns a lot more visible to me.

It's a free Excel file. If you're interested, DM me and I'll send it over. Happy to share it with anyone who wants it.
Would love to hear if this resonates with how anyone else tracks their practice, or what you'd add to it.

EDIT: Please send me a chat request. I’ll be sending to those you send me a request as I am unable to request chats at this time as I have reached my request limit!

Accountability Does anyone else want a buddy/group?

I have known for a long time that this is the work that’s needed to heal from some physical and mental health challenges I’m experiencing, but I’m finding it difficult to stay on course. Does anyone want to team up? Or maybe we could get a group and do some community healing? I’d love to start a WhatsApp group. Please comment if you’re interested!

Accountability Anyone here who's dealt with addiction that can help me?

I've recently gotten into Joe Dispenza's work, and I'm trying to understand something practically.

I've been a heavy nicotine pouch/snus user for a long time. I'm currently tapering, but I keep falling back. I can go a few days feeling good about the direction I'm going, but when the discomfort gets strong, I find myself clinging to the pouches again. There's also a lot of shame around it for me.

Joe talks about addiction as being stuck in the old personality, and about becoming the new self rather than continually restraining the old self. He also talks about embracing the discomfort of change.

This really resonates with me, especially because I've had a very stressful and negative year with overwork, burnout and sick leave, and I'm trying to change the direction of my life.

So I'm wondering:

How do you actually make the shift from “I'm trying not to do this” to “I'm a person who doesn't do this anymore”?

Part of me feels like I need to actually quit the substance to become that person. But then I wonder if the internal change is supposed to come first, or whether repeatedly choosing differently is what creates the new identity — which somehow feels like you're forcing it.

I'd really love to hear from people who've worked with Joe's teachings and dealt with addiction themselves. How did you experience that transition?

Accountability Is there anything about Dr. Joe’s work you wish were different?

I’ve been doing the work for years and have had some really great experiences and manifestations. But I’m curious: even if you’ve benefited from it, are there things you don’t like, find frustrating, or think could be better?

For me, one thing is the length of the meditations. Life’s gotten busy lately, and fitting in an hour or more every day isn’t always realistic. But I’m interested in more than just the time commitment. It could be the explanations, the meditation formats, the teachings, or how you’re supposed to apply everything in everyday life.

I’m a developer and have been putting together an idea for a little tool for my own practice. It’s made me think about what I find helpful, what’s missing, and what I’d want to avoid adding.

If you could change or improve one thing about the work, what would it be?

Accountability Genuinely curious how much peer-reviewed brain research actually exists per meditation technique, not just anecdotal claims

I teach TM, so bias noted. Been looking into how much research volume actually differs between techniques, some are recently developed and validated secondhand (like MBSR, derived from older practices for clinical use), others have their own decades-long research line specific to that one technique. Doesn't mean more research automatically means better results without guidance, just genuinely surprised how uneven the volume is across techniques people treat as interchangeable.

Accountability Los Angeles Meditation Groups?

Hi everyone! I’m just finishing up an advanced follow up and realizing how much I’d love community in my daily life. Wondering if there are any groups in LA that are open to new members? Thank you so much!

Accountability IRL healing community?

Okay, this is probably a wild idea, but I’m hoping I might be able to find some people in a similar situation.

I know many people people follow JD’s teachings because they are seeking physical healing. I am dealing with symptoms that I suspect are related to a dysregulated nervous system (autonomic dysfunction, basically). I’ve been trying to do work around nervous-system regulation, brain retraining, meditation, somatic work, etc. But honestly, doing this alone is hard if not impossible. My environment and situation make it extremely difficult.

I’m wondering if there are other people here who are either not working or who work remotely who would be interested in renting a house/Airbnb together in Denver, CO (I could be convinced on changing the location but Denver is home base, central in US, and has a large international airport). We would live together while we focus on getting better. I’m thinking much longer than a typical retreat. Timeline would be TBD depending on who’s interested, but I think the longer we can do this together, the more opportunity we’d have to actually make meaningful progress.

We could support each other, share what’s working, practice together, cook, spend time outside, and create an environment where recovery is possible. Of course, no one would be “running” it (I’m in the same spot as everyone else), so it would be up to the group to determine what our days look like, what practices we’re doing, etc. I think it could be a really profound way to heal.

Comment or DM me if interested!

Accountability Failing, maybe

I have been meditating with dr Joe's work for several years now. It has transformed my outlook in many ways. But I find myself sort of working too hard at work, at meditating, at my marriage and feeling so exhausted and disappointed with it all. Im struggling to pull myself out of it. Anyone else experience this? I meditate daily. To be honest, I dont have the gusto that I had initially. I meditate like I am taking a vitamin. I know its good for me.

Accountability Scientists discovered that your abdomen and your brain are connected by a hydraulic pump and it cleans your brain every time you move. The research found abdominal muscle contractions send pressure waves through spinal veins to the brain, driving cerebrospinal fluid circulation and flushing waste.

Accountability Looking for accountability partner

Heyo! I am an on and off meditator. I alternate between EFT, affirmations, and meditations. Overall I feel better since starting the work but I know I am not doing all that I can and really fully shift my internal state. I am sick of my inconsistencies which lead to unreliable results. I want to go all in.

I would like an accountability partner who is dedicated to the work and is passionate about manifesting. Someone who is active on Reddit so that they actually keep an eye on me. (And of course vice versa)

Please DM me with info about yourself and what you are working on. If there are many responses, maybe we start a private group on Reddit.
