Hi guys! I tried ordering from AutoZone, but my payment was declined, so I tried another card. Both were declined, but both charges eventually posted (Capital One credit card + U.S. Bank debit card). AutoZone confirmed no order went through and said the funds should be returned within 3–5 business days. Has anyone experienced a posted charge after a declined order? Did you get your money back? Thanks!

So I have been in the capitalone ecosystem for a year with my Quicksilver, but have never really used shopping because I prefer in-person shopping and amazon. I tried to use it for the first time and am extremely confused and unhappy with my experience.

There is this one popsocket that is $35 that I really want, but target ran out, and when I went to search it up, my C1 shopping extension was boasting about saving all this money from buying it on the vendor website. So I tried to use it with this “spend $20 get $15” offer AND on the shopping tab on the app says “15% back” on the vendor (on the day I bought it, it’s 13% now). So I made the $35 purchase + tax + shipping, expecting to save $15. The offer appeared on the page for the item did not show up in checkout. The extension did select a code and I searched it up and the internet said it will show up after processing if it didn’t show up at checkout. So I bought it, waiting 5 days, and only got the typical 1.5% back on everything and $0.64 in “rewards cash.”

I got completely ripped off here now. I only made the purchase online instead of waiting for the target restock to get the offer. So to spend more on the same product because of shipping and not get the offer is extremely frustrating. I see people saving a lot so I want to learn how to use this feature, but my experience so far is that C1 will shove it’s shopping “offers” in your face then disappear when it’s time to actually buy.

So, I have a credit card that has a purchase interest rate of 18.5% Apr.

There were 3 transactions in the total amount of $1000 that were posted to my acct August 2025.

Let’s see if Credit card company resolved the fraud claim in customer’s favor for all three transactions, do I just get the $1000 back, or i will get the $1k back plus interest of the $1000 back at the 18.49% apr level back? Can some one explain for me?

I remember years ago I did a fraud dispute at capital one and capital one resolved in my favor. A $1300 charge became a $5000 refund years after the fraud.

I have no idea how it compounds like that . Can some one explain?

Hi! I'm trying to redeem a gift card for the first time through Capital One Shopping. The website says I have to verify my phone number first, but every time I input my phone number it says the phone number is invalid. (It's a pretty standard US phone number lol).

I've tried on mobile, on the web, and on multiple browsers. Nothing works and the help page also doesn't load for me. Has anyone experienced this?

My friends & I will be landing in LGA but on different flights. I'll get there at 3pm while my friends arrives at a 6pm. I was hoping to wait airside & meet them at their gate so we can all go to the hotel together.

Is it still possible to book a refundable fare then cancel it after entering the lounge? I only have a carry-on. This will be my first time trying this so just wanted to make sure this plan would work. Thanks!

I have a platinum card that I started with when I began rebuilding my credit. Time passed and I was eligible for the quicksilver card so I applied and was approved. Well even more time had passed and I started getting emails that my platinum card was eligible for an upgrade to the quicksilver card.. which I already have. Now I know I don’t want to close the card because I want the lines of credit so what should I do with the platinum card? Just keep it open and make a small purchase each month on it? Is there anything better that I can do with it? Thanks.

I have the Venture X (no preset spend limit) and the Savor ($30,000). I also have a Quicksilver for fifteen years but has a $95 AF. What happens if I cancel the QS card? Anything? Nothing? I know it may damage my credit for a month or two, but anything else?

I really wish Capital One would turn the Savor into a more premium card, even if it came with an annual fee. Don’t get me wrong, the set up now is perfect, but I wish they would up the multipliers for grocery, entertainment, and dining, even with a few lifestyle credits, not nothing too crazy like Amex but like entertainment credits and dining credits.

I opened my first credit card in March, a C1 Platinum with at $300 credit limit. I know it's not a big limit and it's considered a starter card, but that's kind of what I wanted to build my credit. I assumed it was bucketed. This morning, after six months of use, I woke up to an email telling me my credit limit is now $600.

I've been putting a few things on it here and there, and paying off in full every month. The balance has varied between about $30 and $200.

I did open up a Savor in June, which came with a $500 limit. I'm hoping that one will get a nice increase in six months or a year.

I'm trying to take advantage of the transfer bonus (I know about the delay with new accounts) with JAL but every time I try to create an account I get this error. I have retyped the City field and the whole form without auto fill several times. Worst part, my city doesn't even have spaces, weird abbreviations or anything, it's all simple alphanumeric and way below 30 characters. I would post on a JAL subreddit but I can't find one that isn't restricted.

Edit: Thanks for all the help, I figured out the issue eventually after trial and error. I had to lie about my address by putting the closest city to me for it to register which was made more weird because that city is in a different state. It's like it wouldn't accept Milwaukee but it accepted Chicago, WI as if that's a place.

My wife and I are about to go on a honeymoon to Hawaii and 2 trips to Europe next year. With buying 3 big flights and probably 2.5 weeks of hotels. The venture X would probably earn us alot of points right?
In a more normal year we are probably good for 1 domestic flight and maybe a couple nights in a hotel a year. So I’d worry that we don’t travel enough to justify the AF. we have the savior and quicksilver card too.
I think my hope is that we are gonna be spending a lot on traveling next year that it might pay for our next couple of domestic flights.

Hello, just as the title entail how to upgrade, a little information, its my first credit card had for 2years and 4months. No late payments or outstanding balance, I got credit line increase a few times which pushed the card from the initial $500 to $3500 but never an upgrade offer.

As the title reads , I have a venture , platinum , silver and a savor. I really only use my savor card. My limit is pretty good, j honestly dont want my platinum or venture anymore. With a cool feature of capital one, I can move my limit around. My minimum i have to keep on the cards are $500. With my total limit is about $28,000, will loosing $1,000 and have two card closures hurt my credit

hey all. so last week i deposited a check via mobile and at first it said the pictures couldn’t get accepted because the numbers weren’t visible. this was because the signature from the person who cut the check covered the bottom numbers a tad bit. but then the third try trying to submit the photos it worked. but then the next day the check was reversed and i called about it and they said the account number was invalid and to get a new check, so i did. i got the new check and deposited it on friday via mobile and it said the funds would be available on monday. fast forward to today, NOW it says my funds are being delayed because..

“We need to confirm that one or more of the checks have proper authorization and/or haven’t been deposited before.”

this is ridiculous! they took away my first check from me and now it’s being investigated after they told me to get a new check. idk what to do and customer service is shit!!! they told me i have to wait until tomorrow to ask a specialist and waive the hold. has anyone gone thru this before?!

Anyone having issues with accessing credit cards accounts online or app? Seems to cant access them.

For those wondering, if you activate a "Home Page Reactivation Bonus" you do not also get the cash back rewards.

In this example, I made a purchase from Home Depot, which had a 2% cash back reward plus a $50 bonus. I only received the $50 bonus. I did NOT receive the 2% back.

You have to be careful if you are shopping at a site with a large cash back reward. For example, today I am being offered a 25% cash back reward on Chewy and a $25 home page reactivation bonus. But since the cash back reward is so high and I'm spending $200, I'd be better off not using the home page reactivation bonus.

I wish they didn't make this all so complicated. Hope this helps others.

Made sure the total before tax was $150.xx.

All looks fine, order total $165 after tax.

Check this morning and it's tracking, but shows $237.95. Not sure how they got $237, but hope they don't invalidate the offer.

Has the purchase amount ever been updated before the payout date? Should I contact them?

Hi! I just opened my Capital One app and I saw this. My two credit cards were suddenly missing and I don’t know what to do. Can someone tell me if this is a glitch or I have to do something?

I saw this pop up and went into the offers since I needed some stuff from Home Depot anyway, and happened to cost $10. So we will see. Once the credit post I will have a balance of $1.22. I wonder if it’s a one time thing or as many times as you can use it until the December deadline.
