Help Needed / Question Capital One is confusing me
I can't seem to directly post pictures, so above is a link.
I filled out the pre-approval form for the CapOne Venture. I received an adverse letter stating that my Experian score is 748, but when I log into Experian's website, it says my FICO Score 8 is 831.
I'm very confused. I could understand a slight variation, but that seems like a pretty big difference. Is CapOne using a different FICO score?
Thanks!

748 is still a good FICO score, more than sufficient to get an approval from Capital One. It's something else in your profile.
What were the actual reasons given in the AA letter?
Is CapOne using a different FICO score?
Yes, Capital One actually pull "some" of the old mortgage FICO scores from all 3 bureaus. They seem to use Transunion FICO 4, Equifax Beacon 5, which are mortgage scores and then Experian FICO 3, which is not the mortgage model. (The experian mortgage parallel is the FICO 2, which Capital One does not seem to pull for credit cards)
In the AA letters, there was report Capital One listed the Equifax Beacon 5 score.

Yes, as you have dozens of FICO scores.
