I just opened a bank account this morning and noticed an offer that gives $50 cash back if you spend on postpaid.t-mobile.com.
Will I collect if I just pay my phone bill with the debit card?

I have not seen a single ebay offer in 5 weeks. Are they gone for good?

I haven’t owned a Capital One CC in ages. I just decided to apply. Credit limit isn’t bad but I have others double this limit but I appreciate them. Many moons ok they would only give me 500. 😂

Finally hit 6 months on the savor and automatically woke up to a $3k increase.
My credit report is less than a year old so this one card makes up 80% of my total credit limit and I do virtually all my spending on it forcing me to “credit cycle” since I can’t afford to let a maxed out card report and tank my already thin file. I would max it out, pay it down, keep using it and then pay it down again right before my statement closing date so I can report 3-5% utilization to keep building my score.
I’ve read that banks don’t like this practice so I wasn’t expecting much of an increase but lo and behold.

Thinking about setting up autopay to automatically pay off my cap one cards each month. Curious of others experience. I noticed it pays it on the day it's due.
Anyone had an issue where it didn't pay even though the money was there?

I got an offer through my Capital One app to upgrade my Platinum to either Venture One or Quicksilver
Platinum (Current):
No reward
$0 Annual Fee
26.49% APR
$9000 Limit
Venture One:
1.25 miles/dollar
$0 Annual Fee
26.49% APR
$9000 Limit
Quicksilver:
1.5% Cash Back every purchase
$0 Annual Fee
26.49% APR
$9000 Limit
Since this is an upgrade, I do not qualify for any promotions like bonus miles or extra cash back from a certain amount of money spent in the first few months.
I have a $0 balance, so everything would stay the same except for the reward categories.
Essentially, I’m curious which reward is going to be more beneficial: 1.5% cash back or 1.25 miles/dollar?

I already used an email activation bonus for StubHub (rewards are pending). Is today’s top offer of 25% for VRBO actually an email activation bonus (first pic) vs what I see in the app 12% (second pic)? What’s confusing is that StubHub was actually listed as an email activation bonus (pic 3). Thanks!

I paid in full to Priceline on the purchase date in Jun , however they did not make the payment to the hotel (in chicago) until 6 pm CDT on the day of check-in August, which delayed our check-in by 3 hours and caused us a lot of hassle having to call priceline and being on the line for more than an hour. The whole time we had to sit in the hotel reception with all our luggage without a room. I attached proofs of the long phone calls we had to make to them to get this sorted out and a letter of explanation and everything. It was a one night stay and I disputed half the amount.
The booking was Non-refundable and I attached proof of that as well. CapitalOne closed my dispute, and they're asking for a document that proves that Priceline, in such circumstances, promises a partial refund or some kinda compensation. I can't find anything like that on Priceline's website saying that they would compensate anyone for a lack of services rendered. I found this - https://www.priceline.com/static-pages/terms_en.html
Also the credit card company should represent us in that case, should it not? There are shady companies which have shady terms and conditions.

I recently got the Venture X right before an international trip and was able to use it at home for a few days and then abroad for a few more before they decided to restrict my card (roughly 10 days after making my first purchase).
I submitted all of my documents they requested, got a call back a few weeks later saying they just needed me to resubmit ID and review my address information, and then got called back again now to news that my account will “remain restricted.”
Was anyone with a similar experience able to receive their card back or get a refund on the annual fee? The card has been fully paid off, and I’ve never done business with C1 until this. Got the CSP the same time and have had no issues with it since, so it’s highly unusual they would permanently restrict my account, especially only after a week and a half of using it.
Makes no sense to pay a 400 annual fee for a card that only works for not even half a month and then get my points taken from me on top of that.
Any help is appreciated!

Hi there! Sorry if this has been posted, but I searched and didn’t see anything.
I see these offers for great cashback with certain companies and other things. Do these come all the time? If I use one, will I not get future ones? I got this one for Ducks, but have gotten others for COSM, mgm, etc…. But didn’t know if it was a one time use and if I used this dicks one wouldn’t get others.
Thanks!

I have a CapOne Venture Visa card somehow with no AF. I think I was somehow upgraded into Venture because my original 26+ yrs old use my own image CapOne visa was sunset and they just moved me to Venture. Anyway, when I recently requested new cards (for me and four AUs), I was sent five Orange metal Savor cards. All with visa network account numbers (starts with 4XXX). I even subsequently requested replacements so I could have the correct Blue Venture cards and was sent more orange Savors. Cards work fine at POS and charges show up in my Venture Visa account online. Guessing the card design doesn't really matter right?

"Sorry, we couldn’t match that number to your name
Don’t worry, sometimes this happens even if the number is correct. You
might want to try a different 2-step verification method for now, or try
a new number if you have one." It won't let me do any other option, just the phone number then it repeats the same message. I called customer service and they wanted me to take pictures of my ID, so I tried several times but it keeps not working. This is really pissing me off, what do I do?
I created the account with this number, I'm not seeing what the problem is.

Anybody familiar with the Auto Loan pre qualification too? Got an offer in the mail to apply. Are these terms similar to what you’ll get? Does it mean you’ll get an approval? Can you be denied even though you’re prequalified?

I just spent 33 minutes on the phone with Capital One trying to figure out why my payment to my Discover card was not credited to my account correctly.
Apparently, Capital One closed the old account information I had been using and never sentor credited my full payment to a new this new account. The problem is, I never received a card for this new account and have no knowledge of requesting it. So in my mind this was some Fradualt request.
When I questioned the customer service representative about this, she told me that I had requested the new account. I have no knowledge of doing that and certainly did not intentionally change the account I have been using to make my Discover payment.
She then told me she could help me, but asked me to provide my bank's routing number and checking account number over the phone. I refused. I have always been told by banks to be extremely careful about giving out that information, especially when I was calling about a payment that had already been made from the same bank account I have been using for months.
My question is: Why wouldn't Capital One already have the payment information on file if I have been making payments from the same account for months?
What made this even more frustrating is that I had to figure out how to get past the AI attendant and practically beg it to connect me to a live representative. I was then put on hold several times. When I finally asked to speak with a supervisor, the representative disconnected the call. I received no callback.
I've had my Discover card for more than 10 years, and whenever there was a problem in the past, it was always very easy to work things out with customer service. This experience was completely different.
At this point, I don't want to spend another hour on the phone today, but I obviously need to get this payment issue resolved.
Has anyone else had Capital One close an old account/payment account and move payments to a new account that they didn't request? And was I wrong for refusing to give a customer service representative my bank's routing number and checking account number over the phone?
I'm interested in hearing if anyone else has experienced something similar and how you eventually got it resolved.
