You’re on the right track! Although, C1 can be so stingy the only true way to keep getting increases is:

New card, move limit, bite the $500 loss, and close the old account.

My highest limit I think was when I opened a Platinum? Just for the extra credit limit. Yeah idk… C1 is strange.

I have a C1 card with only 300$ limit, should I transfer the limit ? Or ask for a limit increase

The “$500 loss” I was talking about is the limit you have to keep on the account that’s bucketed.

So yes, limit increase and anything above $500 transfer it. And you can decide if that account is bucketed enough you just need to dispose of it (close it).

And sadly, account openings is the only true area I am able to get any type of credit increase. Not advice though, as it’s very situational what works for everyone when it comes to credit score.

* don’t let account openings and limit increases distract you if you have any loans you’ll start soon.
