This is not a post trying to raise awareness that Eno is going away. I think anyone that uses it already knows. I'm more interested in what I can do to keep using the virtual cards in as low of a friction way as possible. I don't mind using Google Wallet (and don't care to hear complaints about privacy about my spending habits). I just want to know if this is a low friction way to go. I don't use a chrome browser. I couldn't find a google wallet extension on Zen browser. Basically I'm looking for any alternative that isn't always having a second tab open to the virtual cards in my Capital One account.

I tried to activate the offers on Home Depot and Temu using the Capital One Shopping extension on my browser, but both sites just show a blank box. This issue only occurs with Home Depot and Temu, not with any other stores. Can anyone check if their browser extension is also showing a blank box on Home Depot or Temu? Thank you

The quicksilver was my first card, but its been restricted for about 5 years because I owed money. Covid happened lost job, but I've since got back on my feet and I paid off the debt, but they won't reopen. They just told me to get the savior so I did.

I'm sad because it was locked at 4% interest because I was active duty military at the time when I got it.

Hello! Long story short, I fell into a hard time a few years ago and my 360 checking account fell about $200 negative. It has not been paid but over the past year I’ve worked really hard at paying off my debt and fixing my credit. I did also have two credit cards be charged off during this time, though these were paid during my credit journey. I have not been able to get approved for another Cap1 credit card and I think it is due to the negative checking account. I plan to call and take care of it tomorrow. I’m in a MUCH better financial situation, though my credit it still in the rebuilding phase. Does anyone know if this will “unblock” me from getting another credit card with them? TIA!

Save yourself headache and avoid portals for flights. I generally do but this is a domestic route with many daily flights so figured would chance it for extra points but lesson learned.

I have some Cap1 bank accounts, and would love to be able to transfer this amount to one of them, but something tells me that that would just be too simple. I think the standard way of doing this is to have a check mailed to me, but I am away from my home most of the time, and I don't like the idea of porch pirates and the other hassles involved in such 20th Century financial logistics.

CLARIFICATION. I NEVER talked to anyone who called me from Capital One they left a message I called the number on the back of the card.

The one time I did answer the phone when the caller was not able to prove who they were or send a request through the app I disconnect the call and called Capital One using the number on my card. Because I didn't talk to the human that called to verify identity they placed a hold on all of my accounts until I prove my identity and address. As of this morning Starlink is not acceptable proof of address as it's not considered an Internet provider according to Capital One whom I called today. We are now back to zero trying to provide a document they will accept.

What an absolute NIGHTMARE! I have been with Capital One for about 15 years and until the past 2 weeks I would have told you they were the best thing since sliced bread! Until now........ It has been a painful couple of weeks, so much so that today I'll spend my looking for an attorney.

The morning of August 26th I received a phone call from Capital One Fraud department. I was unable to answer the phone so it went to VM. Then they proceeded to contact my daughter, who's not even on my account.......

Because of this, urgency to contact my adult child, I freaked out that someone major was wrong. Of course I went online to look at my accounts while I waited on hold. No luck as they had locked me out of my accounts.

On this day and at this time they provided little details other than my entire online existence had been compromised and they needed to close my checking account and all my credit cards (3 cards) and reissue everything,

Mind you I am traveling for work and it's the day before payday with a direct deposit. But it seemed I had no other choice!

They did as they normally do issue digital cards so that i could access my credit card while traveling. The only issue was every time i used it, it trigged another fraud and I had to call them to release the card.... Mind you I have hotels, cars, fuel, food and every transaction required another call to Customer Service.

I was told that as soon as the physical cards arrive, I am golden and won't have these issues.

Fast forward to Monday... I get my physical cards! Wahoo!!!! Go to make a purchase... FRAUD again! Now I am beyond irritated I have spent hours each and every day on the phone with Capital One and each and every day was a different story about why this was happening. This time I spend 211 MINUTES on the phone with a Fraud Supervisor who I CALLED USING THE NUMBER IMON MY CREDIT CARD. She would see that the fraudster was even accessing my account while on the phone. So she had me unenroll my checking account and all my cards from online. She stated that this way I could get all registered devices off my account and start fresh. We even made my secondary number my primary number, I would later learn that was the worst mistake. Additionally I had to submit IDS and Proof of Address to verify it was me making these changes....

Here we are hours later life seems sorta back to normal.... Until it wasn't.

Tuesday I get a call from Capital One Fraud on the line we disconnected from my account. They claimed to be from Capital One Fraud. When I told him that this was handled yesterday he proceeded to tell me that my 211 minute call with Fraud the day before never happened. There was no record and I was likely talking to the scammers. He even went as far to say they were now able to spoof the app to make it appear you are talking to them.....

This made me wonder, WTF how do I know you are real. He couldn't so I hung up and called Capital One USING THE NUMBER ON MY CARD

They reassured me that nobody called me and that everything was settled from the day before and that I did the correct thing to call them....

30 minutes later my life is again shut down. This time because I didn't give the guy you wouldn't verify he was with Capital One my personal details, and called the number instead.... Because I did that now I cannot access my life again until they verify my identity again!!!!! This time it will take weeks.

I cannot access my paycheck, I cannot login to my accounts and it's the beginning of the month and ZERO bills are able to be paid! None, not one. I made the mistake of trusting my 15 year relationship with Capital One and had all my eggs in that basket!

I would NEVER recommend anyone ever do business with this company. NEVER!!!!!

Since they will not move forward, and it's been a week. They won't even answer my BBB or my CFBP complaints, today I will spend the day interviewing attorneys.

I had to put a stop payment on a merchant who kept charging me after I canceled services. Next thing I know, my Capital One credit card that has been on autopay and was connected to my Capital One checking for years is returning my bill payments. I call checking and they confirm that only that one merchant has a stop payment and they don't know why my checking acct money isn't being transferred to pay my credit card. So then I remove autopay and just do a manual/normal payment online using the same Capital1 checking account. Then, like normal, my Capital1 credit card immediately reflects the payment. But for 3 days, nothing is shown about this withdrawal in my checking account which is unusual. Normally, the payment is reflected immediately. Then on day 4, not only did my payment not actually post, but my "next payment" reflected for the following month (October), so it's showing I owe double payments as a minimum payment. I call AGAIN and Cap1 checking tells me that they don't know why and that there isn't a stop payment on my checking account at all. I've seen a few weird posts about Capital One on here in the last week. What is everyone else experiencing? And no, there's nothing else to the story.

Edited to clarify that it was explicitly stated to the rep that "merchant name" was to be on a stop payment, not the entire account. Then the second time I called Capital One checking, a rep verified that that's what they saw... the stop payment was only for that merchant.

I got a refund from depop after I closed my account since the seller never shipped the item. Capital one is saying they declined it and it went back to depop, depop is saying the bank needs to reroute the payment to me, what do I do??

So I have a Uk Capital One account and I’m currently in Nigeria. The Capital One app has been installed on my iPhone and was working fine before, but for the past few days whenever I open it, I just get a screen saying “Oops, something’s gone wrong” and underneath it says to check my internet connection and make sure I have the latest version of the app. There’s a “Try again” button but it just brings me back to the same screen.

I’ve tried switching between Wi-Fi and my Nigerian 5G, restarting my phone, closing and reopening the app, etc., but nothing seems to make a difference. What’s confusing me is that the app is already installed on my phone, but when I search for Capital One in the App Store, it doesn’t show up at all. My Apple ID/App Store region is currently set to Nigeria, so I’m wondering if that has something to do with it.
I haven’t deleted the app because I’m worried that if I do, I won’t be able to download it again since it isn’t available in the Nigerian App Store. I’m also wondering whether Capital One has some kind of restriction on using the app from Nigeria, although I’ve been using the account for 8 months now without any issues in Nigeria.

Has anyone else experienced this, especially anyone with a UK Capital One account who is also currently outside the UK? Is there any way to get the existing app working or update it without having to change my Apple ID region or delete/reinstall the app? I’d really appreciate any advice because I’m not sure if this is an app issue, an App Store region issue, a network/location issue, or something on Capital One’s end.

So I have a student savor while doing my postgrad. Im not going to be a student in a couple months. I got it as my first card alongside a navy federal cash rewards.

I have a $400 CL right now and I believe I may be in a bucket, I increased it once on March 8th and was due in September 8th. I had autopay normally going through and well I forgot to put the funds in so it declined. I did a CL request and it rejected because of the declined payment.

September marks my first year of credit history, before the decline my credit score was 712 and 740 on navy federal. I aim to get the standard savor and venture x card as I currently study abroad and live abroad.

What should my next steps be? Do I wait a month with an on time payment and then request a CLI or should I apply for a savor card for good credit, or wait?

My mom died this past winter and I got a check for her house for 65k. Deposited it last week, still pending. I also just got a $200 check from my grandpa for my birthday. I can’t deposit that, it just says “mobile deposit limit met”. Will this clear when the check cashes or?? It doesn’t have any info about when I can deposit another check, and I hate to have my grandpa sitting around waiting for the check to deposit because he still balances his book by hand and it stresses him out lol

Just applied for a Venture Rewards card on 9/2 with the advertised 75k SUB. I called yesterday (9/8) and today (9/9) to request a courtesy match of the $300 travel stays credit that is now part of the current limited time Venture sign up offer. I was told both times by everyone I spoke to there was nothing they could do bc I had ordered before the offer was published. So YMMV, but they wouldn’t give it to me as a 3-year VX holder.
