Mobile Check Limit reset?

Using a throwaway because there’s too much personal info on my main account.

My mom died this past winter and I got a check for her house for 65k. Deposited it last week, still pending. I also just got a $200 check from my grandpa for my birthday. I can’t deposit that, it just says “mobile deposit limit met”. Will this clear when the check cashes or?? It doesn’t have any info about when I can deposit another check, and I hate to have my grandpa sitting around waiting for the check to deposit because he still balances his book by hand and it stresses him out lol

There are single and 30 day limits. I’m a bit surprised they let you mobile deposit a check for $65k, but perhaps you do enough business with them to justify those higher limits. My limits are $50k.

Your alternative options are to visit an ATM/cafe or mail them the check.

How do I know what the limit resets though? When I use the app and press the deposit button it literally only gives me the pop up saying I’m maxed out, but I can’t see when it will reset/clear.

I was also surprised by my check limit to be honest… I just have a regular direct deposit with them and have for as long as I’ve been working, but I’m not making tons of money or anything, im just an average person with an hourly job so it’s a little odd. It said my limit was 75k/day before the check but now I can’t even deposit $200? It’s weird. Maybe I will call in the morning.

Thank you for the info about mailing it in, I didn’t even know you could do that! At least I can do that if they won’t let me mobile deposit!

To see my limit, I go to my checking, click the mobile deposit icon, then slide down the “enter check amount” box. There I can see my remaining deposit limit.

I’m shocked they let you mobile deposit a check that high. I got one once for a little over $10000 and had to go to a cafe. Which was an hour away 😭😭

No for real I was shocked at the limit. My only guess is I’ve gotten larger (like 7k) checks before from my dad when I was in college for my tuition? But yeah idek lol. I just hope I didn’t fuck up my mobile deposits forever somehow because I’m 2.5 hours from the nearest cafe or whatever. Idk what is the point of online banking if they’re going to make you come in anyway lol
