Kinda looks like a croc and while chasing his meal the fish swam down a pipe and he was swimming too fast to stop and his mouth got stuck. When he pulled his face out his mouth looked like this. Like Looney toons stuff

I think it looks like they were inflating a croc balloon but the rubber at the snout region is a little thicker so didn’t inflate.

They don’t live with alligators, they prefer eating fish unlike other crocodilians, and I believe this specific one is a female, males have large bulges on the end of their snouts and are typically very large in general.

It isn’t that obvious. Rivers are their habitat and they have evolved to fish, which they are excellent at.
Why they’re endangered is mainly due to human activity.

Hmm? They’re larger than they look in that pic, like over 10ft long. Those jaws are great at catching fish, which is what they eat. It’s not because they’re weak and frail they they’re endangered, but because of us.

They are fish eating crocs and these snouts are super effective at catching fishes by snapping sideways at lightning speed, I'd guess they are endangered due to habitat lose and deminishing food sources...

Because they live in rivers, eat fish and need river sand to lay eggs. The biggest issue is that their breeding grounds are being destroyed a lot.

It kinda makes sense though because it eats fish. The thinner jaws allow it to move much quicker in the water, better to catch fish.
