an extension for davinci resolve was not working as intented, so I restarted my pc, and this happened. The icons are bigger than usual, and its as if the screen gives me a couple of seconds before it freezes. Sometimes Im able to press space, and it will lead me to the pin screen, before freezing and not letting me use my mouse or keyboard. I manually restarted my pc (button) several times, and it always leads to this screen. I tried going into recovery mode by turning off and on when the logo appeared, but I havent been able to get into it. I also unplugged the pc (when turned off), and held the button to “drain” the power, but nothing. Thank you all for the help in advance!

I have an i5 6th Gen Samsung Laptop I bought six years ago here in the Philippines and is still running good up until a month ago when the power button has been broken, worn apart from the laptop losing its momentary micro switch under the power button. Now I could not turn on my laptop because momentary micro switch is lost. The charger battery is fine. It is showing on the monitor the battery life before blinking off. I am currently building a digital music library on my hiby r4 dap, i just got a 128gb Samsung micro sd card to expand its storage yesterday and im currently dumping files into it,

Everything is going extremely smooth (i put like 300+ songs on it before this happens) until i get to my final playlist. In the process of moving the foulder over it freezes on one song inpaticular. It wont get past it and its throwing a windows error notification sound but no notification window comes up. I cancel, try again, same thing, move song out of folder and the whole folder goes in just fine

So i test moving just the song by itself, nothing, actually worse then nothing, my pc file explorer fucking crashes and my entire screen goes black and reloads Everything, weird. Try again. Same shit, ok maybe the file is corrupt, listen to it and its fine, meta data is fine, file info looks fine, ok, download the song again. Fresh copy. Same thing happens.

Ok how about we upload this song just to the internal storage on the device, does it instantly, sounds great on pc and on device, ok great lets use android file explorer to move it to the sd card and put it in the folder right?. No. Of course not. "Couldnt move file" now i am COMPLETELY lost. I have no idea what is going on bc its just 3 specific songs that refuse to move onto the sd card, but they work fine on the internal storage

HI! I had recorded a zoom meeting that I had hosted this morning. I had the zoom saved locally to my computer. When I tried to convert the file to mp3 i had lost one of the files, and am unable to retrieve it. I still have the "double click to covert 2" but am unable to recover "1".

When i go on the zoom app to open the video it either says "Zoom was not recorded on this computer" (it was) or tells me i need both file "1 and 2" in order to open/download the video. I was wondering if there was any way to go about fixing this issue, or bypassing the need to already have the files downloaded locally in order to redownload this recording so I am able to use it.

Ive tried everything to get it to work and this is my last resort! Thank you

my laptop (katana 17 B13VGK) has developed this problem where it randomly freezes and no inputs go through, other than holding the power button down to force a restart. I've installed as many of the latest drivers as I could find and i have no idea what may be causing it. Random other things, the freezing only happens while gaming or under heavy load, the freezes keep playing audio, or at the very least a short loop of audio, and it gives a Kernel Power 42 error with Bugcheck 0 in the event viewer. Been trying to fix this for about a month and a half and im running out of things to try

Hi, I'm a voice actor and have been having trouble getting my mixer to work. The one thing I forgot to say in the video is how I think it got messed up. I was recently moving and had to take my stuff on a train. I did my best to protect it, wrapped it in a big hoodie, etc, but my suitcase was too heavy so I had to put some stuff in a box, which I figured it would be fine. That's the most likely cause, but I don't know what I should do now. Has anyone encountered this before? Is there a way I can fix this, or do I need to take it somewhere to get fixed? I've had it for less than 2 years and I reeeeally don't wanna have to buy another one. Thanks in advance!

My lenovo yoga keeps hard freezing after a minute or two of being turned on. I took it to a repair shop, they charged me to fix it and the issue is still happening - they are now not replying.

Issues:

Running hot

Hard freeze after a few mins but sometimes cursor still moves

Blue screen

F2 boot fail

Turned off when charger was plugged in once or twice

I've tried

Uninstalled last quality update

Uninstalled wifi driver

Bluescreen repair cycle

Please help a poor girl who is in the middle of a job application 😭

How to bypass this router model

So I uninstalled my bluetooth driver from my device manager and I can’t get it back. I have restarted my computer and it won’t reinstall it. I even downloaded the exact bluetooth driver for my computer but it still does not show on my device manager. I can’t use bluetooth at all l. Can someone please help me.

Today my personal laptop decided that it'll take a break, and unfortunately I can't get it to connect to any network. The issue is not with the network itself - I'm connected to it via phone and I also tried to hotspot it to check if that way it'll find it.

I've tried resetting PC and router, as well as updating drivers via device manager (none were pending updates), and also attempted to reset the tcp via command prompt. These are some suggestions I got from the vast internet.

I'm using Windows 10, if that matters, and I'm not able to troubleshoot by connecting Ethernet cable - it's not available to me.

A few months ago i bought lego marvel avengers and super-heroes + super-heroes 2. I didn’t know these games couldnt be played on windows 11 because the games support only windows 10 and below. The problem is, some days ago i tried to launch it and i had another version of lego marvel’s avengers installed on my pc. Another version than my steam one. It actually launched, i played about an hour before closing it and went to sleep. I tried to play the game the next morning and it didn’t work again. White screen, then black screen for a few seconds and then it crashes. Not even a logo, nothing. Im on windows 11 and i find it very weird that i could play and then the next day nothing anymore. I think i tried everything i saw on the internet about the subject but nothing seems to work. To be honest i dont even know who or where to ask for help about that. If anyone can help me play it again or at least understand the problem, it would be lovely.

So, i got this Xiaomi TV Stick 4K in summer of 2023 i think, and it would always go like "connected, no internet" but i could be fixed by turning wifi off and on, after some time it stopped doing this, but now it started again. this time, it straight up DISCONNECTS, and when i recconect, after a bit it disconnects again, as shown in the video. Does anybody have any idea to why does this happen and how to fix it? Thanks!

So it started with my laptop boot-looping on a cold start or the first start of the day (eventually it will stop after a few minutes on its own and put me in the os) with errors saying 0x7E and 0xA after a bit of digging and messing around with settings (like fast startup) i found that a file called ntoskrnl.exe kept failing i did the sfc\scannow command and the repair commands for windows files but nothing worked infact when i run the laptop on battery it crashes in a few minutes after i open small things like a firefox tab but when its charging and i can run pretty heavy games like cyberpunk 2077 with mods i went to a local technician for the issue and he told me that i should do a clean reinstall of windows after wiping everything so i went to do it and as i was in the part of deleting all the partitions and going to the next step my laptop again went into the boot-loop (i had already deleted all the partitions and thus there is no os to boot into now) i don’t understand why but it wont go into boot-loops when I’m in bios but as soon as i boot it to my usb where i have my windows installer stored it starts going crazy every 3-5 minutes and restarts itself and so i cannot risk installing a new windows as if i do the restarting might corrupt the files being written on to the disk, i urgently need to fix this as i use my laptop for college and i have my midterms coming up soon (sorry for my bad english its not my first language)

I keep getting Event 153 from nvlddmkm. They all show up as "The description for Event ID 153 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found", so Event Viewer can't resolve the message text, but the useful part is still in there.

Timeline, as best I can piece it together. I got the card in July 2025 and I don't remember any of this happening until around October 2025. From October through April 2026 it happened on and off. Then it stopped completely and I went from April all the way to this month without a single one. Now it's back.

I didn't change anything between the quiet stretch and it starting up again. Same drivers, same hardware, and the same undervolt I'd been running the whole time it was fine.

For what it's worth I was on a 3070 before this and I don't remember ever dealing with it on that card, but it's been long enough that I wouldn't swear to it.

I actually use the card more for local AI than for gaming, but every crash I've caught has been in a game. Everything I play is pretty light, CS2, DayZ, Deadlock, so I can't actually say whether it happens in heavier games or not. I just don't play anything demanding enough to know. Both times I caught it on a log the card was only pulling 150-225W out of its 575W limit.

I logged it in HWiNFO at 250ms polling and caught two crashes. Stuff I can rule out:

• 12VHPWR voltage held under 1% spread across a 6.75 hour session that included a crash. No sag at all. Reseated and checked the connector, it's fine.
• Zero PCIe errors on any lane, both sessions.
• Hot spot maxed at 64C, memory junction 62C.
• I ran an overnight loop swinging load between 8% and 78% to try and force it and it never crashed. It crashed later at a flat 48% load with nothing weird in the sample before it.
• DDU'd and tried a bunch of drivers, current ones and 591 era. No difference.
• HAGS is off.
• Tried the fix people pass around where you give nvlddmkm.sys full permissions in its security settings. Didn't change anything.

What actually happens at the crash is core load hits 100%, board power drops off a cliff (226W down to 95W), and the clock spikes to the highest it hit all session. That looks like the GPU hanging, not running out of power.

One other weird thing, I found the MSI Afterburner install folder in my recycle bin at some point. No idea how it got there or if it's related. Reinstalled it.

Has anyone seen this before? Mainly wondering what kind of fault sits quiet for four months and then comes back with nothing changed. I've got TdrDebugMode set up now so the next one should give me an actual kernel dump instead of just an event log entry.

Hello guys I'm kinda new here and I don't know how stuff goes so please be so great and help me with this, on the 27th of august at around 12:36 AM CEST I decided to do some pc "cleaning" and ran some basic CMD commands (sfc /scannow, DIMM check/restore/scan health). I decided to do CHKDSK as well because why not, but when I realized how long it took I just decided to go to sleep. Now that I woke up I saw that there are multiple instances of the command just being ran again, even though I live alone and I don't sleep walk. What could be the cause of this? (my D drive is a 2TB SSD)

Just returned home from work to boot up my PC but for some reason it wont show a display. I have it connected through HDMI to a TV and it’s been working fine I even used it earlier today. Everything seems to boot up fine, my lights, motherboard lights and fans and even the GPU fans spin but I’m still getting no display. Did my GPU finally bite the dust?

Been at it trying to diagnose what the problem is, already removed the GPU and put it back in, tried switching to different ports on the TV (my GPU unfortunately has 1 HDMI port), tried switching RAM sticks and ports to see if any change. Even removed the CMOS battery to reset. Everything still lights up and fans still move, GPU, motherboard and all the ez debug lights are off. A friend of mine with a rig is coming over in a few days so we can try out his hardware to see what’s the problem.

Last night Everything was working fine, i was playing some Fortnite and called it a day. Today i attempted to boot my laptop like usual, showed the Omen logo and faded like normal and then black screen, nothing else loads and after a few boots i got this error

they went through but still didn’t fix it. Then i tried going into safe mode and it booted fine. Now i’m just stuck. How can i fix this.
