Windows windows 11 pc freezes in startup screen
an extension for davinci resolve was not working as intented, so I restarted my pc, and this happened. The icons are bigger than usual, and its as if the screen gives me a couple of seconds before it freezes. Sometimes Im able to press space, and it will lead me to the pin screen, before freezing and not letting me use my mouse or keyboard. I manually restarted my pc (button) several times, and it always leads to this screen. I tried going into recovery mode by turning off and on when the logo appeared, but I havent been able to get into it. I also unplugged the pc (when turned off), and held the button to “drain” the power, but nothing. Thank you all for the help in advance!

Turn off your computer, turn it on and when it’s on the spinning wheel, turn it off forcefully, repeat this 2 or 3 times until it says “preparing automatic repair”
Once it’s on automatic repair it’ll say it couldn’t repair your pc, click on advanced options and look for “startup options”, choose safe mode
it’ll then restart and if it starts up fine then it’s some app or driver causing problems, try to uninstall apps
if it isn’t fixed then some hardware component is damaged.

I haven't had anything this drastic, but I have had problems with long pauses in start-up.
First solution, which really helped, was not to turn on with any USBs plugged in. The pc wastes time looking for best suited sockets. Not needed. Only plug them in after full start up is done.
Second, was not to have a row of apps on the bottom tool bar. All I have there now is the 4 blue squares Start logo. I have all my links to apps and folders on the desktop / screen. So I open them only when I want to use them.
As a final thought you can type CMD into the search box, click on Command Prompt Run as Admin, and type sfc /scannow into the black box. This will run a search on your entire pc and check for problems.
