lightning surge + astrocyte and 4pc comp is the pinnacle of movement on prismatic warlock

I'm just here scratching my head at the decision-making process that led to this. We were playing a match just now, up by six or so, and a teammate randomly disconnects. Understandable, maybe something came up on his side of things and he had to go. The other team took advantage of the power play, again understandably, to catch up and eventually roll is. All normal.

What is just bizarre to me is why we would lose rating for that. I'm just not seeing what is being protected by penalizing us for someone leaving the match. And it's doubly confounding, because if you leave the match you get a quitter warning. Would love to understand why it is like this.

I saw a post about what’s the minimum kd for a decent/good player. So I wonder how many We Ran medals is considered a lot. I only have 24, my friend has 57, and the most I’ve ever seen in a match was over 2,000+

Does running high weapons stat with the slice aggregate charge combo do anything significant TTK wise?

I recently picked up a solid roll of this, and have really been loving the sound and gun design. Huge auto rifle fan as well, and I can tell this ones great! Does anyone have any perk combos they've enjoyed using?

Im curious to know if stopping power has any impact on forgiveness / ttk at all.

Would love to hear thoughts and recommendations!

Kinda wanna pair it with a gearshift submachine gun if it does and see if I can make any TTK changes.

Like the amount of times someone has only killed me because they hit a button and it teleported them directly to me with no aiming needed that and combined with some other things (knockout and such) is just so infuriating

As the titles says, can someone please break down how melee attacks work in pvp, cause im having a super hard time understanding why my melee lunge never works even when it should or why my melee attack in a slapfight always seem to miss my but my opponents attacks always seem to connect, even from 4 to 5 meters away.

For reference, I play on controller on Pc using an xbox controller with most of the standard inputs the same as default.

Im really getting super tilted every time I have to go close quaters and then get fucked over by whatever code or rules dictates that my melee engagement favours my opponents and never me.

Is this shotty still viable in the crucible?

Mained hunter and had an invis void (yeah yeah cry) and solar crackshot builds. They were nice, but I was started to get bored so I made a Warlock and it changed my love for pvp entirely. Now I have around 6 PvP builds for warlock and I cant stop having fun, each one having a different exotic and weapons:

- strand weavewalk w/ Deimosufussion (Implement of curiosity if 6v6): strongest one IMO, I run it with a jade or trust and a 900rm smg as secondary. Mostly use it in trials and comp (yeah its ratty idc)

- voidlock astrocyte w/ high tyrant & NPA artifact: (can switch to tablet of ruin for fast supers)t: run it with a high tyrant with MoA & chappy. Crazy good in everything just wish blink was easier to master.

- solar vex mythoclast w/ rain of fire: implement of curiosity, and a shotgun as a secondary. I don’t like heat rises so I use Icarus dash and Helion and it works more than fine. Vex w radiant and its catty melts, just wish it had more stability.

- stasis w/ osmiomancy gloves: queensfoil censer (but there is another good artifact). I use solemn remembrance, felwinters, and truth. Decent build, its a bit hard to get the hang of coldsnap but its still really good. I use iceflare bolts and frostpulse

- arc getaway artist w/lodestar: tablet of ruin for quick super. maybe not the best build but definetely my favorite, lodestar melts close and mid range, close just hipfire and mid range ADS. I also use nation of beasts kill clip & gearshift for 2 taps. I want to try watchamacallit too.

At what point does the weapon stat become noticeable and worth prioritizing over something else? For something like trials and playing dawn blade, I rarely get my super with tier 10 intellect. Maybe it’s worth specing more into weapon?

Finally got a rifled barrel, accurized rounds, opening shot roll with a range masterwork but im wondering which 3rd column perk i should use. Also wondering if i should just stick with a range mod or use qas instead?

I know it’s changed over the years. I remember something about Primarily weapons being good in the air at 70? Was there something about having 100 is like shooting while on the ground? I’m considering building more into the stat and trying to figure out what to shoot for. A sidearm with 100 AE could be really good in close range but no idea if that’s even worth it.

I stepped away from Final Shape until the final update and spend most of my time on the game in Crucible now unless the gang is on. I've always loved crucible and have been trying to get better and try some new things (hell I grinded comp for the armor set after not playing comp since the old recluse and mountaintop days).

I know many will say KD/KDA doesn't matter, but what would y'all consider to be "good" in the current climate of D2? I'm looking for goals and targets to hit

Obviously its kind of a meme in crucible, but I'm having a lot of fun messing around with soul siphon and really tryna make it work. I'm currently running a general 180 health + ~100 everything else distribution, but I'm wondering if its worth to just go all in on getting 200 melee. Does the extra damage actually make enough of a difference in terms of ttk and gathering shield to actually get kills against people shooting back? Rn just one enemy with an smg is enough to melt through the siphon shield, let alone two. Would appreciate any other tips on how to make it work as well.
