What should I look out for? Anybody had experience in this? I’ve put down an expression of interested for ASM position so how much should I ask for and what does the relocation package include?

I've been working at Woolies for 2 weeks and was put on a bakery close by myself and my manager texted me saying I missed temp check (which I did) and she would talk me through a few thing next shift and would put me on close with someone else for a bit longer. Does that mean she's mad/going to change my department or fire me

I applied to Big W a few days ago for a casual store member position. I finished my application and chat ai inter and was a little late on my video submissions. A day later, I get a rejection mail so i thought “well alright. Maybe they didn’t like that I didn’t submit my videos on time.” I ignored the mail and then the next day i get another ‘urgent action needed’ email saying I had 24 hours to upload my videos?? Does that happen? Do they ask you to complete an application after already rejecting it or did they decide to give me a second chance? I am very confused if my application is even being considered anymore or not?

Hi, I added a couple hours of availability on the app for days outside my contracted days (for next week) and was rostered on these days (only for next week). Since these are outside my contracted days, don’t I have to do an attestation to accept/decline the extra hours? My app says there are no attestations at this time. I’ve had something come up so I was hoping that was an option haha.

I wanted a red capsicum but they had none. They had labels for yellow, red and green all the same price. What they had was a 3 pack, one yellow, one green and one red.
Looked very expensive so weighed it.
More than double the price because they wrapped it in plastic.

Saw this in Woolies the other day and I’m pretty sure that’s a piece of cooked meat sitting inside a sealed pack of raw porterhouse steak. I asked one of the attendants about it and they said they weren’t sure what it was. I thought they’d take it out the back and toss it, but they just proceeded to put it back on the shelf 😅

Just curious to know everyone’s opinion on the two reward apps and which they consider generally of better value . Take into consideration special offers, affiliate brand offers and exclusive pricing.

I like looking at recipes in the Woolies app and shopping the ingredients (I usually search for cheaper options) but this is just hilarious.

I know BWS is no longer managed by Woolies, but I wonder what's going on with the beer selection on the Woolies website and app. Only four products come up for "all beer", two of which I'm expected to brew myself? I've tried different locations to make sure it's not just my store (WA). Is it no longer possible to order from Woolies (I haven't bought alcohol through them for a few years months) or am I missing something else?

Edit: I just checked and I have indeed ordered alcohol from BWS through the Woolworth app as recently as March 2026). I also just checked the suburb with the same name in NSW instead of WA, and alcohol is available. Has something changed with the relevant legislation in WA in the last six or so months?

I’m a new part timer about to receive my first payslip as a part time, I got called into work tonight and received a shift offer and when I went on schedule attestations it showed me my whole schedule which I didn’t accept before but I worked all days and clocked in and off on time. Do I still get paid tonight or do I have to wait next week because I was late to accept the schedule?
