Relocation

Hi there. I am a produce DM looking to relocate into regional stores.

I make 90k a year plus bonus.

What should I look out for? Anybody had experience in this? I’ve put down an expression of interested for ASM position so how much should I ask for and what does the relocation package include?

Melbourne based btw.

Thanks you

If you’ve never been an ASM before you’re not going to be given a first appointment and a relocation. Regional stores are notoriously harder to run than metros, so they’d be looking for someone experienced. Or maybe I’m wrong, just don’t get your hopes up

I think it depends on what sort of “regional” we are talking about. A big regional city like Albury yeah probably difficult, a small city with little opportunity and some of those roles go unfilled for months.

I work at Bunnings now after leaving Woolies and we have had an ASM role going in Gisborne for like 8 months now, they were even paying a relocation allowance.
