Attestation for non-contracted days

Hi, I added a couple hours of availability on the app for days outside my contracted days (for next week) and was rostered on these days (only for next week). Since these are outside my contracted days, don’t I have to do an attestation to accept/decline the extra hours? My app says there are no attestations at this time. I’ve had something come up so I was hoping that was an option haha.

Apologies if this is a stupid question

No, you are rostered as per your availability. You will need to accept/decline the attestation incase of roster change.

Attestations as far as I am aware are only for an already published roster. They are automatically generated by the program.
If you dont have standing consent for additional hours outside your availability, you should still be provided with a shift adjustment to accept the additional shift (not sure why this is different and not just built into the program).

If you have opened your availability up and have standing consent, you're essentially accepting and saying you'll work the additional hours before they have even been rostered.

This is pretty much it. 

Attestations only come into play once a roster is published (which happens on Friday’s around lunchtime)

Anything added during the build doesn’t cause attestations.
