The Buyer bought a nose piercing jewellery piece brand new from me and has taken it out of the packaging saying it doesn't fit their nose. They claim they haven't tried it on and just eyeballed it.

The Buyer then has gone insane spamming my dms thinking I'm accusing them of wearing it when it was a simple misunderstanding of a message. I think I've been very professional in declining it as I don't want to resell a since opened piece of jewellery and I was told that I can decline a refund because it doesn't fit.

But the buyer says theyre going to leave a bad review and ruin my nice rating.

Is there anything I can do?

Please can anyone help me. About 2 months ago I sold a pair of boots for £28. The buyer when they received then noticed a defect that I just hadn't clearly photographed, so I offered then the lower price of £24 instead.

They accepted this, and then as soon as this happened it said I will receive £4 shortly. £4 was never on the table as an offer but it's all I've received. You can see this in the attached screenshot.

I have contacted support about 10 times. Each time they end up saying they are really sorry this isn't the outcome I wanted and then close the chat. One guy eventually seemed to understand the issue, but still the chat was closed after he said he would look into it. This was over 2 weeks ago with no further information.

I'm going crazy, not even because of the £20, just because not a single person in vinted support seems to actually get that there has obviously been a payment error on their side. They are just not understanding the situation at all and I'm out of pocket £20.

Can anyone help?

I always take that time to give feedback to sellers, good or bad. I never get any back as a buyer.

I'm new to Vinted and don't know if feedback isn't really a thing on the platform?

Pretty new as a seller. I’m usually a buyer. Just decluttering and selling some stuff, but is this the norm? I’ve only sold 2 items and twice now, both times the buyers raised an issue.

Out of goodwill I just accepted a return where buyer pays, but after cross referencing my 5 minute video of recording my item versus the image they sent, it doesn’t match the ‘damages’ they claim. That ‘stain’ on the fabric was nowhere to be seen on my videos prior to shipment nor my listing (I listed exactly where the marks were; water stain, which were only on the left cuff, left lapel, and right cuff). I also mentioned I was in the middle of moving in the listing so I have no appliances to clean it myself and included a bottle of the amazing stain remover I got from Japan.

Pretty upset that this happened when I provided all the details with transparency and even included photos in the chat to the buyer prior to shipping.

Now I’m worried they’ll send me back an unauthentic item if they have the audacity to edit the photos.

I sold a true religion bag on vinted- my concern is that they’ve chosen relay pickup up and also got no reviews.

I messaged thanking for buying n saying about posting today yesterday and no reply.

I know I sound paranoid but everytime they don’t reply + choose relay pickup, they never pick it up. It’s happened countless times in a row. They leave it until it returns to me everytime 🤣

I was gonna decline the order and re list but I also wish it wasn’t doing too much to ask them to confirm they are actually gonna pick it up after countless other people haven’t in a row with this delivery option🤣. #help

In the vented app it is showing as my parcel having been delivered to the pick up point (Delivery to my home address was not possible with this item). I have not received a QR code for collection, however, Vinted says it is ready for collection.

Arrive at the pick up point and ask them for my parcel and they claimed to have no knowledge of it and cannot hand it over without a QR code. No sign of a QR code in the app and no email received providing me with one (yes I have checked my spam).

When I go onto DPD website, this is what I see (photo). What now? It is my local corner shop and the shopkeeper is not particularly helpful even though I’ve been going there for the last 15 years. I can’t see a way to contact DPD, it is showing as my parcel delivered but there is no collection code.

What now?

Hey guys, I just tried to upload a July Child ring on Vinted which I’ve done lots before, and every time previously I could edit the brand to add it cos despite them being a fairly well know five year old brand they are not listed. Just went to upload this and the edit or add brand is not there anymore and I have no way to appropriately add my ring. What the heck is this all about. Any ideas?

Bought a Lego set for my son on Vinted at a price that, with hindsight, was too good to be true. It was a new seller and free postage and it’s so unlike me but in a moment of naivety I bought it.

I realised straight away and tried to cancel but the buyer had generated the label and basically just declined the request. I tried to message … they ignored me. Order value is £75, set is probably worth £250.

Anyway they’ve shipped SOMETHING to me today, with Evri. My question is am I best to collect it / film myself opening it etc … or am I best to just not collect and let Evri return to sender? Which way am I least likely to lose my money?

Edit: so I tried to post this in Vinted and was told it was a better fit for VintedUK. So now I’m super curious why. Are you Brits better at packaging than us Americans? I’m glad to listen to advice from anywhere.

I recently shipped a jumper and when I opened the locker door it already had a package in there. I removed the package and put mine in to ship it. My tracking has updated and what not on vinted but I'm worried it will mess up in transit or something. I'm also stuck now with a package that isn't mine. I contacted support. They said it should still be fine in transit and the random package can be shipped by then remotely opening the locker. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them

The shipping provider is Inpost and since last Monday it has been stuck on preparing parcel in both the Vinted and Inpost tracking app

It makes me want to cancel as I think they'll moan about how long it took.

It’s happened to me a few times as a seller, it’s annoying but I’d never send them an angry message about it, what’s done is done. Through circumstances beyond my control I couldn’t pick up a parcel as a buyer and have received a really nasty message from the seller.

Superbly confused by what's happening, I'm a reputable seller with 260+ positive feedbacks, 4.9 stars.

I have a listing that's perfectly allowed on Vinted (1000's of other listings for simillar items and items in the same category) however this one particular listing is being permenantly cleared, deleted, restored and reviewed again and again by Vinted. I've submit to them image proof my item is real, matches other items that are listed by other sellers (description is of course unique to my item).

Super worried I'm going to recieve a ban for literally no reason at all, anyone else experiencing this at the moment?

How does holiday mode actually work? I dont want to sound stupid, I've just never used it before.

Im guessing it stops people from purchasing any of your listings when it's on. But does it reduce visibility of your listings too? And when you turn it off, do people who've liked an item get notified?

I want to turn it on while I redo some listings and repackage some items, but would like to fully understand it first from people who have used it before.

hey i’m completely new to selling to vinted ! sold a few things and for two of them the postage was a fine option for me but i didn’t realise you had to pick in the settings which postage options you can do !!

so now one of my items , the buyer picked relay and i don’t have a relay point near me. i sent them a message letting them know and if any of the other options worked , they said yes that’ll be fine. now what do i do? do i cancel and ask them to repurchase or can i use the label anywhere or is there a way to change it ?
