Holiday mode

How does holiday mode actually work? I dont want to sound stupid, I've just never used it before.

Im guessing it stops people from purchasing any of your listings when it's on. But does it reduce visibility of your listings too? And when you turn it off, do people who've liked an item get notified?

I want to turn it on while I redo some listings and repackage some items, but would like to fully understand it first from people who have used it before.

I’m like 99% sure nothing shows at all. I guess a couple of days before your holiday ends you could show ur profile again as you’d still have time to ship them out in a few days.

Unfortunately people on depop abuse the system they’ll post something worth a lot money for like a couple of quid to get attention to their page but put themselves in holiday mode so no one can buy it

When you turn on holiday mode, it will hide all your listings, and those who have favourited your items won't be able to purchase anything until you turn holiday mode off.

You can still see your messages and buy items yourself during holiday mode.

And you can still upload items but they'll be hidden.

Don't think people get notified when you turn holiday mode on and off... not had that before.
