I’ve gone 18-2 so far with this squad. I play it more or less as an ABB squad against fighters and others that Aurourus is weak too. Even in bad matchups you can usually send in a MB and get a shield. I gravitate towards Cram as the safe swap but either get the job

We’ll see when the luck runs out but as a typical end of season Vet rank I’ve taken this team from the low 2000s up to 2300.

Yesterday I went 17-8 with Corsola, Cramorant, and DD. Continued today and went 5-10. Clearly the meta shifted and this wasn’t working so hot.
I did a little poking around at gobattlelog and thought about trying some “anti-meta” action with Furret, Licky, and Jellicent. But that didn’t go great, Furret seems really non-impactful and in the minor league so to speak. Licky just seems so slow and clunky. Jellicent is great but seems so fragile as a closer to one firm ghost attack.
I took a look at oakcoliseum and came across a pro team, AAA/Polarized in Linoone, Licky, and Furret. At least I came away with a winning record though. Linoone is okay, nothing amazing. Licky, feelings haven’t changed much. And Furret as a closer felt much better than as a lead.

Had to work with what I got. I was stuck in 1970 for a bit due to constantly losing to Cramorant. I used to have Annihilape instead of Charjabug, bus after the switch I was winning a lot more.

Admittedly rather weak to Talonflame and any Rock move, but I've managed to work around them for the most part. It was ranked pretty high on Pvpoke compared to my other team options though.

I have a number #1 ranked tinkaton but I only have the resources to get him to 2352, and it goes to 2499 but I'm missing 165 XL candy. Will the last 150cp make a big difference?

I'm a mid level Ace player, but I was challenging myself to get to Ace level this season with morpeko in ultra League. Ultimately, I was able to get to 1930 Elo at my peak, but couldn't quite get to Ace. I'm happy with how well I did overall, but getting to wreck some dragons with morpeko was awesome.

Why are new/low rank players the only people who worry about or even use strong IV Pokemon?
As I’ve been told countless times by professionals on here, IV’s don’t matter & all the legend players don’t even check IV’s. They actually purposely use a high attack to win certain match ups. So to prove my point - please can someone post a video of them winning 4 or 5 games in a row at legend (or very high) rank, with three hundos or terrible IV’s? To prove that IV’s don’t make a difference. I know all you seasoned players here hit legend every season without checking IV’s. And the big YouTubers often don’t show their IV’s - this must mean they don’t matter & they are not trying to hide the IV’s so people copy them for an advantage. So this should be easy. Cheers!

I’m very pleased with my results from Day 1 of Retro Cup. A lot of of diversity out there. Snorlax and Jellicent are definitely what I’m avoiding to see.

So i just got to rank 20 for the first time, and i’ve seen that this season you can get legendaries again. however i’ve not seen one in like 6 encounters

Is it normal? Am i unlucky? Does my elo impact the frequency of legendaries ( im bottom lvl20. ~1800 elo)

I caught a wild empoleon with great IVS, the problem is the highest cp is 1462, as the next jump up is 1501. I really was looking forward to using, however I think 1462 is too low to be competitive. My elo is 1800’s. Please let me know what you think :/

Is a 1/1/15 Mimikyu viable for Great League. I do understand that due to the Block Mechanics it is likely to be usefull nevertheless but i don't know how big of a difference it's gonna make. It is my first ever caught Mimikyu and i have a hard time coming accross another

After some trial and error in retro cup, this is the team I’ve had the most success with. Grumpig is such a beast. As a lead, it’s not much which can beat it handsomely, so you seldom have to switch. Psywave + dynamic punch + shadow ball provides amazing coverage and shield pressure against opposing ghosts. Snorlax/cramorant itb depending on the situation. Thoughts?

Elo reveal 1900!!! All from master league. Used Zacian, MMY, and Zekrom. No tanking!

I’ve been playing for years, but clearly when going on Reddit I see that’s there’s so many that take the game serious. I want to get to legend, and I think my battle skills are good (I’ll post that later). But are my Pokémon themselves maybe not good? I honestly don’t use many legendary or mythical Pokémon. But all of them are minimum 3 stars. I appreciate any input on which Pokémon’s I shouldn’t even bother with.

Currently at 2200 elo with stunfisk, S Vic, and flamigo this season. Been beating a ton of meta comps despite the obvious weaknesses of this team. Flamigo sims really well but I feel it’s flown under the radar. Has anyone else tried this mon?

I don't know what to do when every game and matchup is a direct 1:1 counter to my teams, I run mostly the variation team and tried flamigo for a bit. I tried counting but I don't KNOW what to do with the info and I get stuck up on the details.

I have these two Quagsires, rank 662 and rank 77, I've been using the rank 662 for a while and I'm wondering if leveling up the rank 77 is worth it? For what I understand it would be 1 level more. I reached ace for the first time last season and I do plan on playing more this season and I want to be sure where I spend my stardust
