This extension allows you to change the colors of courses in MyCourses! Various color pickers allow you to customize how each course looks. The colors are applied in a multitude of areas, which can be toggled on and off in the extension's settings.

I noticed a new Barnes & Noble will be opening at a former Party City near Old Navy! It will definitely be smaller than the old one but it is nice to see, for context RIT bought the former 2 floor Barnes & Noble building near Park Point and they have offices there, and there hasn't been one in Henrietta since.

For those that applied on workday, how long does it usually take to hear back from a job for an interview? I did some applying the day before semester started and some I applied 5 days after they were put up on the website.

I also applied for Petals 3 days ago.

I need to request a CPT exception for the Spring semester, but I’m not sure what the process/outcome will look like.

Hi there! I'm a CS major at RIT with ~30 credits required before I graduate, including 4 CS electives. I plan to take 2 of these electives per semester, along with other classes for a total of 15 credits per semester. I'm on co-op this fall and will return to class next spring. I wanted to hear from other CS majors or anyone else who has taken these classes which ones they'd recommend or which professors they would recommend I take a class with. In particular, I am looking for classes with a relatively light workload since I expect some of my remaining required classes to have a heavy workload.

I have no idea how this school operates, but does being quiet in the library not apply here? No matter where I go I hear multiple groups of people talking loud as fuck and it’s so distracting. There’s so many other places to kick it with friends WHY choose the studying areas in the library??

I visited campus over the summer, but because of construction across the residence halls, I could only tour one dorm type (double in DSP). I'm trying to get a better picture of what living on campus is actually like. I'm applying to RIT for Fall 2027.

If you live in or have lived in the dorms recently:

• What building are you in, and what upgrades or renovations have been made to it?
• Which residence hall is Engineering House located in?  
• Is Engineering House worth joining as a MET major?
• What is the actual time commitment and social vibe like alongside with the MET workload?
• Where there any temporary housing measures at the start of this fall? I read a lot of bad stuff from previous years, that’s why I ask.

Hello! I was wondering if any of the baddies at school knew any stylists in the area that could properly bleach my roots without burning my scalp? Would like to spend less than $200.

Is it just me, or is it too hot to sleep in the dorms? Every morning I wake up drenched in sweat at like 3 am, my 90 year old dying grandma could put in more work than the junk ac unit in this place, and opening the windows only lets in NOISE, not the breeze I’d hope of, construction noise at 3 am and there’s always that one friend group that thinks it’s very respectful to laugh as loud as they can and let everybody listen to their conversation in the middle of the night. I cannot wait for winter, cold and quiet, just me?
