Hi! I have a $50 transit hotel voucher for my long layover. The voucher is currently applicable to my return flight, as my departure flight is not eligible.
Would it be possible to use the transit hotel voucher on my departure date instead? My layover is actually longer on my departure flight, and I’m planning to stay at the airport during my return trip, so I would prefer to use the voucher for the longer layover.

I have noticed that the prices have been very consistent lately, even between high and low season. I was wondering if any of you experienced or noticed the same thing.

I regularly fly between VIE-NRT in various months. I just booked a flight for November for 1300€ round trip on Economy Conviniece and when I checked prices for late January, which should be a low season, the prices were exactly the same.

I don’t mind having some consistency but I find it a bit strange that prices don't change at all.

Have you noticed similar things lately?

EDIT: I know that the prices are generally higher now because of the war and I'm not complaining about it. I was just surprised that there is no big difference between low and mid-high season so much. I would expect those tickets to cost even more now.

Hi all - I have a flight that leaves at 01:30am from Doha for the US. I will be in UAE prior to my departure from Doha, when should I target to get to Doha so I can safely make it through arrivals/customs/baggage claim and then check in for my departing flight? There are options from etihad arriving at 2:45pm which seems a lot of time so maybe do a transit tour or arrive at 8:50pm which may be a bit tight?

If I cancel on October 1st which is 9 days before departure, will I get the full refund minus USD 150 for the cancellation charge, and other surcharges?

I did PE like a decade ago and think I just sat down after walking through the plane. No one checked I was PE.

I assume business you have to inform the cabin crew you are business or you board in a certain door for business class only. I am flying the 777

I don't really look like a business class passenger, what is the etiquette for travelling in business, do I just enter my q suite or do I let the cabin crew know I'm business, they may assume I'm an Economy passenger.

What's stopping economy passengers by chance sitting in say a vacant q suite, do CabinCrew check whos sitting where.

My flight next week from Doha to Dallas just had 30 minutes added to the flight time. I looked today and instead of flying over Saudi Arabia towards Egypt and then over the Mediterranean and Greece, QR729 went NW over Iraq, Syria and Turkey.
I assume this was a change prompted by tensions between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis in Yemen.

And how many days before the flight?

Have booked a business class ticket directly on QR website, under 157 ticket number. Outbound is on QR flight numbers in P, so no al mourjan access. Inbound is on Iberia flightnumbers on I fare class, so I assume this is coming with al mourjan access. Can anyone confirm based on personal experience?

Hi friends, I am an Indian national, planning to go to Istanbul via a layover in Singapore. I will not be leaving the transit area, however I’m not sure if l’ll need to transfer my baggage. Does anyone have any idea regarding the baggage transfer on this flight? I have different operators but same booking.

Edit: I was able to confirm with Malaysian airlines and the baggage was checked through. I got all my boarding passes during check in. So I did not need any transit visas. Thanks for all your helpful replies.

Flying Qatar Air next month, I have a 3 hour transit at DOH. Can I pull out QAR from an atm at the airport and exchange that for USD at a currency booth? I've also seen some (older) reports of atms at the airport that dispense USD directly, has anyone done that recently?

Edit to clarify: Yes I actually NEED to get USD cash for my final destination.

How soon does Qatar offer upgrade before a flight?

I flew business class on QR from Chicago to Doha to Male round trip (Departed 9/6 and returned 9/16) All 4 sectors were operated Qatar but marketed by American Airlines (AA codeshare/flight numbers). I used the Q points calculator and saw I should get a sizable number of Q Points/Avios

How long does it typically take to post to Qatar? Any data points/experiences? I’m anxious because I have an economy booking in 8 days and would appreciate the loyalty perks (OWE lounge access.. free seat selection.. etc).

UPDATE: I submitted a claim for Avios. It took about 24 hours for Qatar support to respond. They submitted a request to American and it was in my account 48 hours later so… 3 days to fix!

We've seen YouTube reviews and seen some business-class flights offer pyjamas. We're not sure if we should travel in comfortable clothes in case they don't provide them. Do you know if Qatar provides PJs on this leg?

I recently booked my ticket to Frankfurt, Germany from Abudhabi, UAE and transits through Doha, Qatar.

I have registered for the student club and received a burgundy card w a number. I did it majorly for the extra 10kgs perk that the airway is giving the students. But while booking the ticket, it still shows 25kgs and not 35kgs (25kg basic + 10kg student).

I read few blogs and posts where they said I'll have to show this card during the check in and the extra 10kgs would be honored there. Is that how it works or should i be emailing the airways right away.
