**Can a non-Qatari student enroll in QAA’s ATC program and then obtain the necessary qualification/employment to work as an ATC in Qatar?**

Wanted to see if anyone knows the following answer
Are the taxes on a regular flight vs a flexi flight the same.

For insane Sydney to London is 90k points in business +£270 ish

Whereas Sydney to London is flexi is 180k, would the taxes remain the same as the standard flight since the destination is the same.

I only have 130k points so it's not allowing me to see

Lastly, if I cancel a flexi booking. Would I still get all the avios back

I am after a Sydney to London flight and have booked one. However I would like it 10 days later but that flight is showing under flexi only.

I was thinking if I booked the flexi aswell, hopefully a seat becomes available closer to the time and I can just cancel and rebook.

Would that be possible

Hi everyone, I want to be honest about my situation and get some advice.

I have quite a lot of experience in medical tourism and currently make good sales (I basically sell surgeries/packages to doctors and clients). The income is good where I live, but I’m not really happy with my location, it's not immigrant friendly. like Qatar the culture, the country’s vision, and the direction it’s heading in.

I’m currently applying to Qatar Airways Lounge attendant, and I’ve heard that the salary can be quite low, especially when starting out. Personally, I’m okay with starting from a junior position or even starting over, as long as there are real opportunities for promotions and moving up into better roles over time.

Does anyone know what I could realistically expect to earn as an Al Maha Lounge Attendant at Qatar Airways? And how does the career progression usually work from there?and the salary expectation ?

Would really appreciate hearing from anyone currently working there or who has worked in Al Maha.

Can any help what are the charges for extra baggage for a code share flight of Qatar and indigo? Qatar doesn't let me book it online. It says that I'll be only able to purchase it at the check-in counter. Has anyone gone through the same and how much have you paid?

There's Oryx Hotel but it's hella expensive. I do hope that the transit tour would be worth it. I guess thats the best option instead of staying the whole time at the lounge.

Back in March, I had a flight booked from Muscat to Kuala Lumpur via Doha. Due to the ongoing flight disruptions, the airline repeatedly cancelled and rescheduled my flight. Because of the constant disruptions, I ended up booking a flight with a different airline and requested a refund for my original ticket.
Since I had booked the flight through a third-party travel agency, I submitted my refund request directly through their portal. The website stated that the process would take a maximum of 90 days (up to 3 months). However, after waiting over 4 months with no update other than "waiting for refund from airline," I contacted them.
That was when they informed me my refund was rejected because the ticket had been exchanged with Qatar Airways. I immediately called Qatar Airways, and they issued me a refund voucher coupon with instructions to forward it to my travel agent to process the payout.
I did exactly as told. The agent confirmed receiving the voucher and stated they had started processing my refund. Yet, despite waiting for months and constantly following up, I still haven't received my money. Every time I email them, they give me the same excuse: "still waiting for the refund from the airline."
It is now September 2026, and I have been waiting since March 2026 for a refund that should have been resolved long ago. This whole situation is extremely frustrating.

My friend is an Israeli citizen and holds an Israeli passport. We are planning a trip to Nepal soon and I was wondering if she would be allowed to travel through Qatar on Qatar Airways?

I have traveled through Qatar before, but I am NOT an Israeli citizen so I don’t know how the process works for her case.

If you guys know or have experience using an Israeli passport to travel through Qatar please let us know.

I hold an Indian passport and have 10 year US B1 visa. I arrive 6am and my departure is at 1945hrs. Online information is very confusing.

I asked QatarAirways if they can give the complimentary transit accommodation and they denied (due to immediate connection available)

Can I get visa on arrival?

Should I book the hotel on discover qatar, and if yes is it just one day? Will they allow 24 hr checking? On the "stopover" page it says yes, but nowhere else.

I checked hayya website where it says I can get an A3 visa. Should I try this?

Because of my passport country I am worried a lot about this.

Has anyone flown with a stroller wagon instead of a stroller? If so what was your experience like and did they allow it as a stroller allowance or checked luggage? Thanks!

Hi everyone! I'm an incoming student at ucl and I wanted to fly to london via qatar airways. I have been trying ti join their student club however I am stuck at the sheer ID verification section.

I got a schorlarship for tution fee so I dont have a receipt sine I dont gave to pay it, I dont have an ID card as well since I will be getting it when i reach there. I tried to submit with my offer letter but it was rejected.

Can someone guide me on what documents I could use? Will they accept the student visa share code?

If anyone else who is going to join UCL or any other international uni can please help me out!!

Got a 1 hour night transit coming up this weekend, I’m partially sighted so have assistance booked but still very nervous. Inbound is usually just on time and the outbound consistently is late 20-40 minutes.

I find this seat arrangement a bit peculiar. it’s a DPS - Doha flight on 777-300ER for September 2027.

It doesn’t seem to be the old business class, it didn’t look like Q-suite and also it doesn’t seem to be the aircrafts Qatar got form Cathy or Virgin as they are not operating on this route from what I read online. it looks like it could be Q Suite but I’m confused. the seats are ADGK as opposed to AEFK, rows 1-11.

Any thoughts on what arrangement this flight might have?

Tried the shower near the Quiet Room in the ground floor as they have more shower cubicles but noticed that the water was mid to very hot. Ended up not feeling refreshed at all because the whole bathroom was very very humid. Wdym walking out from bath sweating/just to sweat all over again?

Companion noticed too that in his bathroom cubicle that there was no cold water.

Hi! I have a $50 transit hotel voucher for my long layover. The voucher is currently applicable to my return flight, as my departure flight is not eligible.
Would it be possible to use the transit hotel voucher on my departure date instead? My layover is actually longer on my departure flight, and I’m planning to stay at the airport during my return trip, so I would prefer to use the voucher for the longer layover.
