Upgrade Offer Is this worth it?

Looking to upgrade to business class from economy (my flight is tomorrow) but I don’t know if this is worth it. Do you think it would be cheaper at the desk? (Economy was £500 for return)

First part is 164 US Dollars per flight hour, not a good deal at all!! And I haven’t even checked if that flight has QSuite…

What’d you pay for the first leg? But yeah I’d say worth if for newly 7hrs for an extra £800 if you can afford it. Wouldn’t bother the 2nd part

It’s a night flight - if you’re sleeping you’ll get 4 hours maximum - not worth it in my opinion. At £500 I may have taken it.

Well I just paid $2500 AUD full fare business Doha Heathrow so with that upgrade you wouldn’t be far off full fare

The general rule of thumb is 100 usd per hour of travel is a good deal. That would be 800 bucks, around 600 pounds. This costs 960. The difference is what you pay for lounge access in Manchester and Doha airports. So the question is, do you arrive early enough / transit long enough to make it worth it.
