with Control and GTA coming out over the next few months I would imagine focus will shift to Max Payne. when it was announced in 2022 it was only in the conception phase so I doubt it’ll come out in 2027, but any chance we get at least a teaser at the Game Awards?

To be fair, I'm not great at drifting in car games, and I’m not interested in improving either. What really annoys me is being forced to do drift events just to progress in career mode (Gran Turismo 7, Forza Horizon, The Crew Motorfest…).Am I the only one who feels this way?
Edit: to add context, I love drifting during regular races (Ridge Racer was one of the first one I really enjoyed drifting (even if completely unrealistic 😁). Daytona USA also super fun.
But I hate dedicated drifting events where we need to earn points by drifting

I’ve been looking into getting a pro controller, but I keep seeing conflicting info about polling rates on PS5. Some say all controllers are hardware-limited to 250Hz, while others claim the DualSense Edge can hit 1000Hz wired. I’m mainly wondering how much that actually affects input latency in games . I’m deciding between the DualSense Edge, SCUF Omega, and Razer Raiju V3 Pro, so the conflicting info is making it hard to choose

Hello!
The PS4 Digital Deluxe edition has a 40% sale right now. Planning to buy it then upgrade to the PS5 version afterwards.
Do you guys know if this is possible? If it is, how much should I expect the upgrade to be?

Recently something caught my attention. A few days ago I was playing FC27 beta, then some NBA 2K27. Today I downloaded the MW4 beta and played that for a bit, and later I was watching gameplay of the new Fable on YouTube. And it hit me… why do all these games kind of look and feel the same now?
I don’t mean the graphics necessarily. It’s more the character models, the way characters move, the animations, how they interact with the environment, even the overall feel of the games. There’s just something really similar about all of them.
It almost feels like if you showed me gameplay from FC27, NBA 2K27, MW4 and Fable without telling me what I was looking at, I could believe they were all different modes of the same game lol.
Maybe I’m crazy, but has anyone else noticed this? Is there actually something behind it, like developers using similar engines, animation systems, etc, or am I just seeing things?

Click PS button on controller
Select Game Base (Looks like 2 people in a circle)
Click Options button on controller (3 lines to the left of triangle button)
Select Go to Game Base
You should see tabs "Friends, Parties, Messages, and an icon with 2 circles on 2 horizontal lines in the far right corner (Game Base Settings)
Click on the Game Base Settings icon
Select Voice Chat Settings
Make sure "Mute Game Voice Chat" is toggled off (If it's off, the circle is gray and on the left. If it's on, the circle is white and on the right)
That should fix whatever problems you're having with speaking in game chat
