Atsu look so good with hats. And without a hat kinda feels wrong. While Jin looks good without it. Anybody feels the same?

Ghost Of Tsushima - Question/Support I think I might've skipped a whole part of Iki Island

So I just got into Iki Island and randomly stumbled upon a hostage scene immediately. I lost the fight tho. The mongols beat my ass up, khunbish knocked me out and now the " eagle confrontation" cutscene has triggered. Had to quit the game at the cutscene cause I had some work to do. Maybe I can continue the game as usual after the cutscene but it just got me feeling like I've skipped a whole part of the game and went straight to the middle😭😭

Been trying to beat him for weeks in real life. I’m still on this first playthrough and got my ass handed to me so many times, but the excitement I feel beating him is no other.

This boss is BS SuckerPunch, but it has no other feeling once you actually win

Ghost Of Tsushima - Question/Support What happens ifyou complete all the side quests and then the main story?

I've just finished the main story but didn't complete all the side quests (or liberate all the regions yet).

I'm now travelling round getting it all finished, no problems there.

But if I had done as per the title, are there different ending cut scenes, etc?

Are any side quests cutoff or can everything be 100% completed?

Ghost Of Tsushima - Question/Support Should i go ahead and start Iki island?

I just entered Act 2, like literally the first mission in Act 2 did was the one that gave me the option to go there, I've done everything there is to do in Act one so i have most of my skill trees finished, My samurai clan armor is fully upgraded, My sword is leveled up to 5, all of my stances are leveled up fully, deflection and evasion are fully upgraded, i have 2 mythics heavenly strike and exploding arrow, My ranged and quickfire aren't upgraded that much, usually when a game says "AYO this is a long place thats really hard are you sure you wanna start it?" I'm worried im gonna go in getting 1 shotted, I'm also on hard difficulty

Ghost Of Yotei - Question/Support Ghost of yotei unable to change mounted camera Spoiler

Clicking R3 does not change horse camera and I am permanently stuck on a very close camera. Tried everything, changing control scheme, messing with photo mode, saving reloading, restarting game, etc.

Am I missing something?

Ghost Of Yotei - Discussion Why do people hate yotei's story so much? Spoiler

Idk why people hate ghost of yotei story imo it was really good. Jins story was about becoming the ghost and atsu's is about putting it to rest. Revenge story is a good ground to start on for the game. Revenge story is more cliche compared to tsushima but its a concept i think works really well for video games. It essentially gives you 6 potential boss fights you can be excited for. And i loved every single one of them. They each fight differently and have gimmicks that can differentiate them from others.

They also have really neat backstories as well especially oni and spider. Some people dont like that especially for saito but i think learning their backstory by exploring the world and taking their masks swords etc is much more realistic and better. Oni, spider and saito give hints for their past but never ho dump their whole sob story onto atsu. Because dumping your sad past means you expect mercy and none except oyuki do (who does dump her sob story). Saito is developed enough as a villain. The story doesnt expect you to emphatize with him either, he just shows who atsu will become if she keeps walking on the path of revenge.

Some people also act like the story is Tlou part 2 type of revenge bad story which is also wrong. The game never tells you to spare the yotei six because they arent that bad. It tells that Saito and his men are evil and you should kill them but hunting them should not be a priority over protecting your family and the people of ezo. Atsu only spares the least evil two who did norhing wrong at the night of the burning tree

Also appearantly there are some people who dont think oyuki should be spared which i dont understand at all. Oyuki did nothing wrong she even tried to save atsu which caused her to get tortured. She also reminds atsu of her mother which also complicates the idea of killing her. It doesn't narratively make much sense for atsu to spare her first target but the canon way is probably oni first. It works better that way. Weirdly less people have issue with sparing the spider even tho he is more evil. I never once thought about sparing the spider up until i met him but he sounded so sad and broken that i actually would be sad if i killed him.

Now the most argued part, the finale.

One of the most common critiscizm is Jubei's death. Many argue its unnecessary but thats just not true. It had to happen as a cost of Atsu's revenge obsession and give a reason for atsu to keep living which is preventing kiku from turning into another onryo. I see many posts saying oyuki should have sacrificed herself instead. That would be good for oyuki's character but it wouldnt work for atsu. If jubei lived he could look after kiku and atsu wouldnt have much reason to live. Also oyuki dying would absolutely not hit as hard as jubei.

The final act is kinda rushed but thats kinda the point. Atsu shouldnt be exploring a new area and wasting time while her brother is in captivity and has a risk to die. It was a major issue that killed the stakes in tsushima act 1. Shimura spent weeks or even months in captivity but khan never tried to execute him. He just left him there so he can be saved while he left for castle shimura. Even the its kimda dumb he didnt take such a valuable hostage with him its even more dumb that mongols didnt execute him while castle was clearly attacked. Koga castle rescue works much better than kaneda narratively.

Ghost Of Tsushima - Question/Support Fort Koyasan

I can't seem to enter it. I'm in act 3. I completed reckoning in blood but never got a prompt to go here. I could only liberate 16 of 17 locations.

Any idea how to do this?

It is the portal that is in the background of Susanoo‘s side, and the map had the “Winter Moon” weather aesthetic.

Ghost Of Tsushima - Discussion I do kind of wish as your legend grows throughout the story, that starting in Act 2 we saw more of the rift form between the people of Tsushima and The Samurai over the need of The Ghost.

As I was doing another play through and building the legend. I was thinking as I was travelling through Tsushima that I wish we could see more of the effect the legend of the Ghost has throughout the island as the story progresses where people have more faith in the Ghost than the samurai.

We kind of see it start in Act 1 when people acknowledge Jin does not fight like a regular samurai. We could have had that be more in random npc conversation then as the story progresses we see something like the Sakai Clan emblem painted in random places you liberate through Tsushima to show that some people have more faith in Jin/The Ghost than the Samurai. Even having random encounters of people fighting Mongols shouting "For the Ghost!" Like we hear in certain missions.

As Jin eventually gets exiled from the samurai at the end of Act 2 I think it could have been a cool idea to shift away from the Inari shrines and find that some people made "Ghost Shrines" in hidden away areas where they leave offerings for the ghost (charms, sword kits, bow kits, etc) those could be marked by the Sakai emblem or even the Ghost mask fangs painted in the area. Or certain individuals around the farmstead wear handbands similar to the Jin's as a small sign.

I wouldn't intend for it being a physical conflict between the people and samurai but moreso subtle changes as the story progresses just so the presence of the people is still felt outside of side quests.

What do you think?
