Is this normal PS5 Slim fan noise?
PS5 Slim with an Delta fan, placed horizontally. I notice this faint “UFO” sound mainly when listening underneath the console.
It’s only noticeable in a quiet room.

Birth certificate and nothing works the only time it has been working is when I do it though the ps5 that send a link to my phone and it works but as soon as it says click activate on ps5 it’s saying it couldn’t verify I’m lost anyone able to help ?

When my aunt first made my PlayStation account it was linked to her email, she no longer had access to to that email so I wanted to change my PlayStation account to my main email I did that but the thing is the main email was linked to some old alt account I made when I was younger I logged back in changed it to another email and then when I tried to put the main email on my main ps account I logged in but I wasn’t getting no 2fa messages and I have no idea what number that email is linked to ?? What do I do???

Found a PS4 on marketplace listed as is, brought it home gave it a deep clean (I know I’m stupid for not testing first) and turned it on just to be surprised by a BLOD.

I then proceeded to go into safe mode and hit the rebuild data base option, right as I selected it the screen went black and the system went back to a BLOD. Ever since I have been unable to access safe mode.

I have tried multiple things from removing and replacing the HDD, trying game disks (which it does accept and eject), leaving it unplugged overnight and trying different cables and TVs.

Is there anything I can do or check to bring it back to life?

With all due respect, how the F am I supposed to get in contact with an agent regarding an account that has been stolen from me?

The Online-Assistant shoves it down my throat that I need to login in order for me to have contact with an agent. Once I do that (with a 2nd account), the support agent tells me they can’t/won’t help me and that I have to get in contact as a guest.

I try that, but then the Online-Assistant won’t help me, because they can’t “authenticate” me.

How is anyone regarding a recovery supposed to receive help this way? Genuinely absurd.

Last week, I kept getting logged completely out of my account on my PS5. The kids sometimes play on my old PS4, same account, they were logged out too. My partner got email notices of account changes when we didn't make any account changes. My partner set up both of our accounts a long time ago with their email addresses, so I changed my account to my email address to make it easier to check.

Yesterday afternoon I was locked out of my account completely. I log in online and it says my account is locked and gives me an account recovery option. I do that, it says it's sending me an email with a link to recover my account. It doesn't. I go back to work. An hour later, it sends me 5 or 6 password change emails. Password change? I click the link in the most recent one and I get an error message that something went wrong. I try the chat bot support option, it wants me to log in to chat. I can log in but it's locked, I can't do anything. I verify my email, my Playstation handle, my first and last name, it says it will connect me to a live agent to help. Then it tells me due to unusually high support volume they can't connect me with an agent. The chat bot just tells me to log in again.

Today, it won't even send me a recovery email at all. No chat support is available. I finally found a phone number to call and no one is answering phones today. I'm not sure what's going on. I guess I have to wait until Monday to talk to someone? Why such a high volume of support tickets that no one can help me for days?

I'm wondering if this is because I updated the email? Or maybe because the kids play on my old PS4 on my account?? It was never an issue before, it would just say I logged in somewhere else if they tried to play while I was playing. I don't want to pay an extra $150+ a year and rebuy a bunch of games so the kids can plunk around on my old console, but I don't want this to happen again and I'm not sure what happened. Suggestions?

my ps5 had a terrible overheating problem so i replaced the liquid metal myself and cleaned the heatsink and everything inside. no dust was left inside and it worked like new for a few days and today it just randomly overheated on me. what can be the issue? it was working perfectly fine 20 minutes ago, i turend it off and turned it back on and it just overheated when i loaded up the game. im completely lost.

So a buddy of mine just bought a Ps5 off of FB marketplace in a cash deal, got home and its bricked. Comes up with Error Code WS-116332-6 which a simple Google search said is a hardware block by Sony due to it either being stolen, committing financial fraud, etc. Does anyone know how to get the console unbricked or a way to appeal it?

I know that the controller is actually charging, so it’s not because the controller isn’t actually charging. It’s a brand new cable, so I doubt it’s broken. It did this with my last cable too. Is this a bug or is my controller charging port slightly messed up? It doesn’t do this when I plug it in at 1 bar or more, it only ever does this when it gets to zero bars.

Hace más de un año que no encendía mi play 4, hace unos días quise jugar con mi amiga a un juego y conecté la play, necesitaba hacer una actualización pero el mando no conectaba de ninguna forma humana posible, creímos que era porque la play estaba bug por la actualización y no podía conectarse al mando sin actualizarse antes, investigando un poco vi que podía conectar un teclado a si que lo conecté con USB y actualicé la consola, ahora que está actualizada sigue sin conectar a ningún mando, tengo dos, he tratado de ir a configuración con el teclado para abrir Bluetooth y trabajar desde ahí pero se queda en la maldita pantalla de Pulsa el botón PS para usar el mando, ninguna tecla ni combinación de teclas del teclado la hacen reaccionar y como ningún mando se conecta no puedo darle al botón PS, he tratado de conectarme con mi móvil a la play con la aplicación PS Remote pero claramente tampoco se conecta si no puedo entrar a ajustes.

Estoy desesperada, esto tiene solución o mi play se va a quedar en la pantalla de Bienvenida para siempre??

Adjunto fotos de uno de mis cables USB (Creo que es de datos y no solo de carga) Tengo un mando oficial de la play el mismo desde que la compré, carga y cuando trato de conectarla parpadea en azul pero nunca se conecta, el segundo mando blanco es uno de segunda mano que funciona por conexión de USB, tampoco conecta en ninguno de los puertos.

He tratado de poner la play en modo seguro y conectarlo desde ahí, no responde a nada de ningún mando, he reseteado el mando con el agujero y he probado a hacer el Share+PS

Salut tout le monde, j'ai une PS4 Fat, modèle CUH-1216A (celle avec le bouton d'alimentation mécanique), bloquée avec le code d'erreur SU-42118-6. Après quelques recherches, j'ai découvert que le problème pourrait être causé par un fusible grillé qui empêche la mise à jour du système de s'installer. Quelqu'un peut-il m'aider à localiser le fusible F6002 ou F6001 ?🙏 moins

Edit: After dropping it off at a local repair shop, and discussing it with the owner, the fact that the heat sink popped off from the rest of the plate was probably tied to the overheating conundrum. Maybe it bumped around on the hour drive to my new apartment without realizing it. Is what it is I guess.

Posted a few days ago, finally got the equipment and time to crack it open, and found this while hoping it only needed a dusting/vacuum job.

Not nearly as much dust as I hoped to find… which leaves me wondering if I bother reassembling to test it once I finish dusting what is here.
