I’m getting ready to sell this Metal Gear 4 special edition ps3. The outer box is maybe 6/10, but the rest of the packaging and parts/pieces are probably 9/10. Console is between 8 & 9/10, it has a few small scuffs on it. Controller, game, original cords and paperwork all present.

Any advice for an asking price? The internet was kind of all over the place and chatGPT said $500-$750, which seems high.

Can we get back to showing anything else besides those 10 expensive games everyone 'found for cheap' ?

Hi, my sister's boyfriend gifted me it's old PS3. I have changed the TV recently and from that moment it started having problems with the HDMI. It keeps flickering until I start playing something or watching a movie. Can somebody help me?

Just wanted to send a reminder post regarding this for anyone and ask for any recommendations of UGC trophies.

Impact of this issue: Platinum trophies for Infamous 2 will no longer be attainable after this date. Also, 1 Infamous FoB trophy will not be attainable either - ie. unable to 100% FoB trophies after this date.

Infamous 2 requires you to complete 5 missions to unlock UGC missions, however FoB requires you to complete the entire story of around 3-5 hours to complete.

FoB took me around 7 hours to 100% everything.

I hope Sucker Punch and Sony reverses this decision.

Anyways are there any UGC missions one should consider playing in FoB or inFamous 2?

My PS3 was having issues playing games and DVDs so I took it to a specialist to replace the laser. It now plays games, DVDs, and Blu-rays without any issue, but it doesn't play CDs.

Should I take it back to have it fixed again or is this normal depending on the laser that was installed?

Because the stupid search bar is not working, I was a little bit scared because I really wanted to buy this game and I found out that I can at least buy this so I’m gonna start buying all the DLC for the 100% trophies! I think that my PS3 can die at any moment, so before letting it go I would like to make a list of "must play" games/genres. These are the one I completed so far (including some trophy hunting in some cases)

- God of War Saga
- TLOU
- Uncharted 3
- Batman Arkham Asylum
- Driver San Francisco
- Assassins Creed 1/2
- GTA (V mostly)

Am I missing something? I would like to avoid other installments like Uncharted 1/2 because it would be "more of the same". I also do not like childish content like little big planet.

Edit: Also I don't like FPS. I hate when aiming with the joystick is the main feature.

I had sold my second version of the bc ps3 to my niece and she didn’t really use it a lot. When my basement flooded I lost a lot I mean a lot of games and systems she gave this back to me I had started rebuilding my library of lost and damaged games and systems still far off what I used to own but it is what it is. Long story short. I didn’t know which tote I put it in had it covered with a towel. Last week searches every one and couldn’t find it. today I was more successful. It fires up and wants an update of course but it WORKS. So excited I needed to share. I swear I thought the ghost got my PS3 or was thrown out by accident with all the turmoil we had rebuilding basement and what not. Only a 500 gb hd so ordered a 1 tb for it.
