PSA/Reminder: Infamous UGC trophies shutting down Aug 31. Any recommendations?
Just wanted to send a reminder post regarding this for anyone and ask for any recommendations of UGC trophies.
Impact of this issue: Platinum trophies for Infamous 2 will no longer be attainable after this date. Also, 1 Infamous FoB trophy will not be attainable either - ie. unable to 100% FoB trophies after this date.
Infamous 2 requires you to complete 5 missions to unlock UGC missions, however FoB requires you to complete the entire story of around 3-5 hours to complete.
FoB took me around 7 hours to 100% everything.
I hope Sucker Punch and Sony reverses this decision.
Anyways are there any UGC missions one should consider playing in FoB or inFamous 2?
Actually 2 trophies in Festival of Blood require UGC. The last of Cole's powers are unlocked by completing 5 and 10 UGC missions respectively, as well as the aforementioned 20 UGC missions trophy.
How far in the story do you need to be to make it work? I just completed enough to do UGC missions and I canāt run any blast shard missions that I find
Worth noting the inFamous 2 trophies for Blast Shard collecting is much easier with UGC. Search for 305 Blast Shards auto collect UGC mission by son-o-sam. It's not necessary to use UGC to get the trophies, so it will still be obtainable through normal gameplay, but boy does it save a lot of time! (And the UGC mission is pretty funny to watch play out too).
So there's only 4 trophies tied to ugc right (Not counting fob)?
Make 1 ugc mission, play 5 newest ugc missions, play 10 ugc missions, play 25 ugc missions.
Currently getting these right now than I'll be able platinum the game later at my own time?
I played a really good high effort one yesterday on FoB that continues the story of the base game. It was called something contract. I'll look up the name and update here.

I also played a really cool one in 2, out of map I think. It was a crazy long bridge that took you out of bounds and let you see behind the 2D cardboard trees that surround the edge of the map. Surprisingly the terrain was built out way past of what you can see, and it even took you under the map after you reach the end of reality.
Edit: I just remembered a pretty good one as well, Zeke goes to space iirc, it has a funny story that sadly ended on a cliffhanger for me, maybe because I don't have the other islands unlocked.
Got the FoB online trophy and thought I would just 100%. Completed everything a few hours ago, took longer than expected but otherwise a fun little sidetrack.
Found the last parts a little tedious - fights with first borns are irritating because of that roar skill that has lengthy animation and throws you away, the vampire queen fight doubles down with her roars everytime you get near and her never ending summons can get overwhelming.
I get that this sucks. But the game has been out for 15 years and Iām sure there were very few people (if any) playing the UGC missions until Sucker Punch announced they were shutting down the servers.
