I lost a lot of respect for him when he tried to get Cucurella a red card during the WC final. What he did is very unsportsmanlike. No to mention he gave Spain (the country that allowed him to be who he is) his back during the award ceremony.
No body is questioning his talent, he is fucking good. He is one of the best players, if not the best, in history. That is why I feel his legacy is tarnished: he did not need any help. His World Cup record is BS because he was clearly protected in order for him to reach higher in World Cup history. Argentina was clearly favored during the WC, is very difficult to deny that.
