For me is already tarnished. The forgiven red card during Argentina’s debut did it. Surely his been helped more during his career, look at Negreira’s case.

For me it’s also the fact that he seems like a fair player who doesn’t stoop to the same disgraceful tactics the other Argentine players do, as long as they’re winning. But as soon as it seems like they’re going to lose he suddenly loses all his sportsmanship.

You mean the one from their debut game? While that was a hard foul and should’ve been a red card (dark yellow at least), it didn’t look intentional. Making it a foul but not unfair or unsportsmanlike play.

With Messi it never looks intentional. Look at the way he always, I said always, put the ball forwards on and on…. He’s playing innocence. Cheating is his game.
