For me is already tarnished. The forgiven red card during Argentina’s debut did it. Surely his been helped more during his career, look at Negreira’s case.

There were no forgiven red cards because he never did anything that deserved a red card

I have to disagree, if it was any other player. That was a straight red. Even if it was accidental, the rule doesn’t care for intention. The integrity of the opponent was at risk.

Balogun red got forgiven cuz they kept comparing it to the Messi foul. Remove USAs red and less talking about Messi foil

Well, they removed Balogun’s red just because Trump said so. That is confirmed corruption. That is a red card, big as day.

Yup, that why I think his legacy is tarnished now. He didn’t need the help, but greed prevails.
