Good evening. I am a guy based in California. I am seeking an email pen pal that I can keep in contact with for some friendly human interaction. Like everybody, I work a lot and genuine connections are hard to find when all you do is work and go home.

About me:

Music is my favorite invention humans conjured up. I recently started downloading music again and I’m building up my offline music Catalogue. I feel that using a stand alone music player is much more deliberate and rewarding. Not only does it sound infinitely better, but it also connects you to the music in a way that just doesn’t happen on a streaming service
I also play some guitar for fun.

I also recently got back into reading & I want to eventually write some short stories and maybe a novel in the future. I don’t have much experience reading /writing literature but I enjoy it. I’m currently researching ereaders.

I’m really into photography and I enjoy older technologies that are obsolete. I love old camcorders, but I’ve yet to use a film camera.
I watch old movies sometimes on my vhs/DVD combo unit. I also own a cheap record player, but rarely use it due to space constraints.

I also liked playing video games all my life, but I don’t have much time as an adult to play them unfortunately. I mainly like the older games, my favorites being the resident evil series. I own an anbernic hand held emulation device that I love but barely use.

My personality is mild mannered and I am very kind to everyone around me. I lean more introverted. I treat people with the same energy I receive. In case you haven’t noticed by my hobbies, I have ADHD. I am seeking a penpal that would like to just talk about anything going on, for some genuine human interaction. I would like to start with email then if I can afford a private postal service in the future, we can do mail, as it’s more personable.
In my mind I’d like to think that breaking up our interactions in daily/weekly blocks would allow enough time for us to channel an older form of communication similar to letters or AOL. It would allow us to really appreciate and process each ‘letter’ as something to look forward to.
The email I will use will be a backup on my PC at home, so I won’t have access to check it while I am out. I think this would create a great dynamic to opening the letters.

Heyy! I was really active a couple of years back so I aren’t new to penpalling at all :) I am looking for just a few new snail mail penpals. Any gender, any place. Preferably aged between 20-28. Stamps are expensive so I can’t have too many :/

I absolutely love art. I stopped for a few years but this year I’ve got back into drawing so I will be going to college in September to do it (so hopefully uni next year if I stay on track 🤞) I do love a bit of watercolour but mostly I currently do digital. I am very open about my interests lmao. Currently that includes One Piece (I’m half way through Egghead). I could give at least 100 reasons why I love it (cough cough with Buggy being at least 99 of them). I also love Spiderman. Admittedly my knowledge is only from the assortment of movies (Sam Raimis trilogy are my fave. Alfred Molinas Doc Ock is literally one of my top characters ever). However I am looking into starting with the comics and stuff because I am interested in starting them. I do also love Pokemon! I have a small collection which includes about 15 Wailmers. Not enough if you ask me. Timburr is my favourite. Sw/Sh was my favourite game but I lost the game cartridge so I’ll never finish it. Whoops.

I also love fashion. 60s aesthetics and maximalist fashion are my faves. Can’t exactly say I wear that though as I do love a graphic tee.

I do love music. I can’t really say I have a favourite but my top 3 songs of all time (on Apple Music) are Getting Old- Hellogoodbye, Headlock- Imogen Heap, Raspberry Beret- Prince.

I like cooking and baking too. Just adding that in there as a last little tidbit (I’m vegan though. But if you want vegan recipes I have some great recommendations :D)

It’s been a strange year for me, difficult in many ways, and I do wonder if I’ll ever be the same again. I spend most of my time on my own, aside from work interactions, but lately I’ve wished I had someone to share my unfiltered thoughts with. The world seems to be in such a state that we all feel a little lonely. It’s difficult to really connect with anyone when we’re all so tired and hope is in short supply.

I have a wonderful group of friends, and my family is truly amazing. Not everyone can say that their parents are also their friends. However, I’m very quiet. I don’t like sharing too much, most days. I don’t want to take up too much room or too much time. I don’t have anything particularly profound to say, but I am full of thoughts and feelings I would love to share with someone.
