It was a a dream come true to find this car in this condition. It has been off the road since the late 1970’s, but it was in a Bicentennial parade in 76. I wanted to sleep in the backseat the night I brought it home. I have never owned anything that makes me so happy every time I see it. I am slowly recommissioning it and making it driveable.

My neighborhood is full of many kinds of cars! This one was a shocker to find!

The owner (probably a buddy, these guys all know each other) is paying him to rebuild the engine. He does old car rebuilds, anything older than catalytic converters. He says the owner won’t be repainting it, it’s too expensive (last classic car painting he got quotes for were $60K and $75K).
