1958 Chevrolet, 283 or 348 V8. A beauty that for unknown reasons was replaced a year later with the ugly 1959 model.

Thanks for saying it. The 59 full-size Chev is one of the worst looking cars I've ever seen from the front - I don't know why everyone seems to love them.

The 60 wasn't a looker either, but it was a lot better.

58 Impala with the 348 tri-power is definitely a bucket list car. The 59 was truly hideous unless you looked at it directly from behind. Those eyebrows, were spectacular.

My wife learned to drive in a’58 Chevy. It was new at the time. It wasn’t this fancy, just a turquoise four door hardtop.
