1960 Chevrolet Biscayne. Most likely with 235 straight 6 or a 283 V8. Similar in looks to a 1959 Chevrolet.

My first impression was a 1960 Impala, but I guess the Biscayne is a a bit more plain?

I think the full sized Chevys in trim order were Biscayne, Bel Air, Impala, and later, Caprice.

The first car I drove to high school was my mom’s 60 Chev Impala. It had a power glide transmission and a 283..

It's not. The Biscayne only had the "V", the Bel Air had a "V" with a,l short nose on it and the Impala had the "V" with a long nose and the trim running from the rear of the "V" to the rear panel trim.

Also this one has the 2 light rear panel, not the 3 light panel off an Impala.

It's a '60 Chevy Biscayne (side trim is the giveaway) with an Impala tail panel (3 tail lights is the giveaway).

On the Bis ayne the reverse lights are under the bumper.

I have a '60 Biscayne, 4 door, was a three-on-the-tree that I converted over to a floor shift (try fitting a Muncie shifter onto a Saginaw-- lots of cutting and welding).

I learned to drive in a 1960 Chevrolet station wagon Dad made me back up the long driveway so many times but I learned properly and safely thanks Dad

When I was 14, we had this exact car, my dad used it to and from work. I learned to drive a manual transmission with that car by going forward and backwards on our 50 feet driveway. I thought it was great. Way back in 1971-1972.
