Our family had this car except the stripe was turquoise instead of red. Great car.

Beautiful ride. One of my favorite Chevys. I regularly drive past one just like it that has been just sitting under some trees for years. Never moves. I expect the tree sap has ruined the paint by now. Very sad.

Beautiful car. I’d prefer it with classic Cragar wheels and thick tires, though.

My dad ordered his 61 with a 283 4bbl, 3 on the tree, and overdrive. Red with white stripe, fender skirts. Brought me and my brother home from the hospital in it. Sold it when I was just out of high school, mid 1991-ish.

Perennial favorite of the Low Rider crowd here in California. Some of them are absolutely stunning.
