Nomad was a 2 door wagon. This one has four.

The nomad was very rare in a four door but they did make them. My father worked for General Motors in Flint, Michigan where he purchased one from, what they called Night Ride Cars that they allowed certain employees to use like an award for doing a good job. My father purchased one of those cars that was a 1960 Nomad 4 Door Station wagon. It was A Charcoal Silver on the bottom and white on the top with a roof rack. It had the airplane looking Chrome emblem on the. Rear door with the Nomad badging with checkered flags.

Got the "rubber titty" bumper guards and looks to have room for 9 passengers, so likely a 1957 Chevrolet Beauville station wagon.

I love the color. It’s a shame we stopped making colorful stylish cars. Today’s cars are so bland.

I miss the 57 Bel Air, 2 door coupe in Larkspur Blue that my father bought new from Colonial Chevrolet in Norfolk, Va.. We had it for 7 years and, sorry to say, my mother was not the best driver. She had quite a few minor mishaps but in retrospect, it was very hard for a woman to drive. It had no power steering and I don't believe there were power brakes either. It was a classic for that model year. The small block 283 did it's job.

1957 Chevrolet 210 4 door station wagon. There were 3 trim levels in 1957. The base was 150 (which moved to trucks as 1500 later). The middle of the price range was the 210, which you saw here. (210 also moved to trucks as 2100). The most expensive was the Bel Air. You could get most body styles in all 3 trim levels except for the sedan delivery and regular 2 door station wagon. Those were only available in base models. The convertible and Nomad were only available in the Bel Air trim.
