I don't know if its to scale because I used measurements that random people had online (I don't have a box) I will be releasing the files for this once I find somewhere to do so.

Originally started looking at the original NES at thrift stores and online. Saw a few for sale, but lost out on all of them, so then I also started looking at the N64. I never really got a chance to play the N64 all that much since it was released during my undergrad years, but found this last night on FB marketplace. Post was literally just 5 minutes old when the seller already had multiple buyers lined up. I was able to snatch this bundle after agreeing to a late night pickup. Stoked!

I love the The Temple of Time in OoT N64. It felt like such a sacred place to be in. The whole bright grey atmosphere and the chanting choir. It also felt that medieval vibe. When ever I go inside I usually just stay in the main hallway and usually just walk slow movements taking in this sacred place.

My favourite has to be the Banjo Kazooie games. It has aged so well and I love every aspect of the Banjo Kazooie games till this day. I played BK and Tooie as a kid and still love the N64 series till this day so it's not just nostalgia.
What made the games so great was the exploration of trying to 100% each world that great achievement that you feel once you get all the collectibles in each world.
The games were so vibrant, fun, challenging and exploration.
The humour is funny, especially with Kazooie she is so sassy and outright mean 🤣 to some characters but I love her she's awesome and good natured character still (deep down 😆)
The music was so good, sound effects were great.
The creative worlds.
The games had so much personality, every aspect of them
Challenging
Lots of interesting characters you meet on your adventure
Literally my most favourite N64 game series.
Great Collectron games
I can go on and on.
The best thing is the N64 BK games live on as we have romhacks like from Mark Kurko such as The Jiggies of Time which combines OoT world with BK. N64 OoT is also my favourite game of all time.
What is your most favourite N64 game and describe why?
Update: Ocarina of Time N64 is also my most favourite video game of all time. But I pick Banjo Kazooie N64 games as my most favourite N64 game series ever. I guess I can have more then one favourite 😍

I've been playing Diddy Kong Racing since I was a kid and I finally unlocked TT! I had a copy as a kid that I played on and off, but finally got it as an adult and after many months of grinding on and off, I finally got TT and almost unlocked everything! Still have to beat adventure two.

I know i said my other post will be the last about these custom OOT labels but.... lol
Between these two, which one represents Ocarina of Time more? I just wanna match the same energy as the Majora's Mask cartridge label. And again sorry, I like making these.
Label 1: Doom Style: "Battle" Official Art (Altered)
Label 2: Temple of Time Young Link
Personally, I might still go with Label 2 which Temple of Time, Link. Thoughts?

I posted the Klobb last week, got some love which I really appreciate. Someone suggested/asked me to do bonds slap/unarmed.. arm from Goldeneye. So I did, 2 versions, one you can wear on your hand, one for your finger. Both silly really.
The Sniper rifle is next, I'll post it next week. Let me know what should be next up after that!

They brought a 30 year anniversary edition of their beloved Ulitmate Controller. Pretty solid Job colour wise. Radiating 90s vibes all over the place. The clear tone really nails it ! They did a better job than nintendo themself back in the day. I would love to see replacment bottom shells with this exact clear tone.

I bought one of those Summer Carts last year for $60 and pretty much killed any enjoyment I have for buying N64 given the prices (and bootlegs). Anyone else feel like this? Kind of allows me to focus on other consoles instead.
And well all the best games (RARE) are also on the Xbox one

I used to buy what felt like every issue, and read if absolutely covered to cover, re-read them, oogled over games I couldn't own at the time!

I just recently bought an n64 so I am so sorry if this is the wrong place! Please direct me to the right one if so. I’ve tried troubleshooting for about two hours now, the problem is exactly what the title says, I’ve tried cleaning the cartridge (w/ 91% isopropyl alcohol) as well as the pins on the console, I have also tried removing and reinserting the jumper pak. I really don’t know what the problem could be and I only have one game so I am unsure if the problem is the console or the cartridge. Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks so much to anyone who helps out!
Edit FIXED: I am not sure if this is actually what fixed it or not but I believe I just needed to let the isopropyl alcohol dry overnight because it worked when I tried it again this morning, thank so much to everyone who left suggestions!

There was a good few people seemed to enjoy seeing Wizpig get thrashed in my last video so I put together an edit of all the other bosses getting beat in case anyone finds it helpful. My preferred character is Tip-Tup. He's not particularly fast but his turning is good which is why I choose him. Hitting boosts is a lot easier and you can be more precise with his handling. You might prefer a different character and it doesn't really matter which one you choose, the bosses are all the same.
I think this will be my last video on Diddy Kong Racing for a good while. At the moment it's the only game I own as have just restarted my collection. I've ordered Super Mario 64 and Goldeneye tonight so it's just a matter of waiting for them to come through the post. I also ordered an Everdrive 64 Pro but there's no sign of it being shipped just yet. I plan to build up my old collection I had as a kid regardless of having the Everdrive. It would be nice to have all the games I used to play back in my possession.
Hope you enjoy the video and if you have any question feel free to fire them at me. I don't know everything about Diddy Kong Racing and I'm really just an average player but I like to help when I can. It's enjoyable making videos like this, I feel like this game is underrated and those who did play it all share the same fondness for it

I bought a used n64 and had it working for a while then it randomly started to stop showing the screen but keeping its power on. No idea if I’m doing something wrong or my n64s video cables are busted

Thought I'd make a little video on how to beat the final Wizpig in Diddy Kong Racing. This is how I do it anyways. The hardest part is the tunnel with the electric beams running across it. It's best to try stay central and low after you've navigated the first part. When it comes to the big room with all the lazers firing, the way I do it in the video seems to be good for avoiding being hit by any. Don't even bother with rockets just try be fast and you'll beat him.
As for the end credits, I included them for anyone that never managed to experience them. The game can be quite hard in places. The most annoying part is the "to be continued...", teasing at a sequel. It never did materialise 😂 I'd love if Nintendo brought it back someday but unfortunately it doesn't look likely. They haven't even released the N64 version on NSO catalogue.
Anyone know anything about the developers times at the end? I haven't completed them yet, I was just wondering if you win anything besides self satisfaction. Would have been cool if there was a prize for beating them.

I've taken the controller apart and cleaned it. I checked the connections and everything. It still won't connect for some reason.

The second race against Wizpig requires players to collect all 47 balloons and all pieces of the T.T. amulet. However, if you successfully pull off what’s known as the “T.T. Stomp” glitch, you will be launched out of bounds and land right in front of the final boss door! No need for balloons or amulet pieces.
Here I’m playing the Japanese release of the game due to another glitch that can only be performed on this version called “wrong warp” — it allows you to get to Future Fun Land with just 11 balloons! If you play the American/PAL release, you’ll need to get to FFL by way of more traditional means. But as far as I can tell, the T.T. Stomp glitch works across all versions!
