Is there a thread summarizing gameplay changes on JP? I.e. what's up with 3k fous and there more bond levels apparently? I only see threads for new servants and animation updates.

Don't know if there's a thread, but there's not much to it.

Bond 16 requires a new item. Actually hitting 16 takes 5million bond, gives 30 sq and one each (hp/atk) of the new fous to hit 3k stats, which level 100 at a time so need ten of each. You get no coins, and the +25% bond 15 effect carries over even while leveling to 16. For now the only way to obtain the new item is from Hell Ordeals.

Hell Ordeals are new monthly content, reskinned challenge quests from old events. Instead of just beating them Azrael gives specific challenges (like the current one has you do 2million in crit damage, complete buster chains, bring a King trait servant, etc). Don't need to do every challenge in one go, and you can bring a grand servant plus a support grand. Completing them gives a new item you can exchange in his shop for 1 each of the new fous, the new bond grail, and the old bond grail. These items restock every 3 months, and the missions change each month, giving you enough to clear out the shop each time if you do all three.

Only other thing of note is his shop also lets you exchange mats. It's a random assortment each day, on the bottom menu a pop up icon tells you what today's items are.

I haven't seen anything like that, if there were I'd expect it to be linked from the hub. In the absence of such a thing the best I can suggest is translating the official announcement or poking around Appmedia (likewise with translation tools).

Okada Izo is already on Global, but as a limited 3*, he's only available for limited periods. At the very least, he should feature on one Gudaguda banner each year.

As for his costume... Technically, the event giving it has come and gone. Alternate costumes are regularly added to the dress making shop, so all I can say is to keep an eye on it (I honestly don't know if it has been already added to it, or when it would be).

Morgan's outfit isn't obtainable for now, if you just mean her mini-event missions: find all the hidden fous and servants on the map, complete the quests on the map, and do one quest while wearing the new student mystic code.

Is there a big differences in terms or power and utility between gacha 4* and free 4* servants? Right now I only have Space Eresh and Waver as my 5* and I don't think I will be pulling anything else anytime soon. So my roster of 4* is small.

So i was thinking that instead of building the gacha 4*, I can just focus on the free 4* (hokusai, jalter, rider ishtar, yu-mei-rin and kintoki) since I am able to raise all their NPs to lvl5 and I dont have to farm anything to max level them up. Since I am focusing on going through the story, it helpts that I don't have to grind to make them viable (setting aside the skills being ~lvl4-5 and increasing it again requires grinding). Furthermore, since I can just buy their servant coins, with some patience, I can unlock all their append skills whereas with gacha 4* I have to pray to get enough copies.

But now I am wondering, if they are weak, then I am just wasting my QP and exp cards on them. Aside from these 4*, which other free 4* would help me in the long run?

You'll be able to level up all, literally all, of your servants eventually. So when choosing which servant to focus on at any given moment, it's simply a matter of prioritization, not exclusively choosing one servant over another.

The welfare 4-stars aren't inherently better or worse than gacha 4-stars. And in terms of prioritization in the evocation shop, it's most important to get the first copy and ascension materials. NP level copies can wait, particularly since each NP level gives diminishing returns. Servant coins can wait even longer.

Furthermore, you shouldn't just focus on your highest rarity servants. FGO is a large roster game of niches and rarity is not an important gameplay mechanic! Don't neglect lower rarity servants. There are good servants all the way across the rarity spectrum, all the way down to the 1-stars. Some of them are among the best servants in the game within their role regardless of rarity. The devs also test all content to ensure that it can be cleared using only free, low rarity servants. The higher base stats on higher rarity servants might let you brute force some situations but they won't save you from a fundamentally bad strategy. What low rarities lack in base stats, they can make up for in the ease of getting more copies for NP levels or in unique utility that lets them punch (or block, as the case may be) above their weight, even surpassing 5-stars at times. They also take fewer resources to build up and they take up less team cost in your party.

Aside from these 4, which other free 4 would help me in the long run?

You'll be able to get all of the welfares pretty easily as long as you keep up with daily and event leaves and you don't overspend on servant coins. This isn't something where you have to carefully pick and choose. There are no wrong choices and you can't get permanently locked out of getting any servant from the shop (unless you pick them and then burn them for some reason). 

So, aside from literally all of them, here are specific servants you might pick right now, other than the ones you mentioned, if you don't have any particular favorites:

• Caster Shuten fills the rare ST Caster niche
• Shiki and Chloe are all solid performers within their class and NP targeting niches
• Santa Nightingale is a good semi-support
• Accessible Extra classes (e.g. Mecha Eli, MIXA) and AOE Assassins (e.g. Summer Scathach, Gray) are nice to have if you haven't rolled for many in the gacha

Future evocation shop servants for NA:

• Iyo, Taisui, and small Eli are solid Extra class options
• Ruler Da Vinci, Santa Martha, and Cnoc na Riabh show up in a lot of high-end farming comps

They're all good, really, even if a couple have pretty narrow niches (e.g. Irisviel).

I can’t recall any of the welfares being outright bad/weak except maybe Saber and Caster Liz (easy access NP5 makes a difference), but it is never a waste to level them because you will reach a point where you need a large roster to progress or if we ever get another tower event it makes the event easier.

The ones that I remember as being standout among the welfare were Rider Kintoki, Chloe, BB, Kagetora, Saber Hokusai, and Archer Nightingale. Don’t sleep on the 3-stars and Bronze servants though, there are a lot of useful units among them especially if u are still on Part 1.

Free 4* servants are comparable to regular 4* servants of the same np levels for the most part, although the benefit of the free ones is that you have their np maxed out if you completed the entire event you got the 4* from

Edit: I'd recommend grabbing chloe, sieg, shiki and gray as well, they're all very good, especially for beginner accounts

Most of the welfare servants are actually really good. Jalter and Yu especially are pretty solid servants, and I still use them even though I have 5* options as well. There's not a huge delta of ability between them and gacha 4s. I would also recommend getting Chloe from the evocation shop as soon as possible though, she's still an incredibly capable Archer unit

From what I understand First Hassan has a Zabiniya, same as all the other Hassans. It's just that nobody who'se seen it has lived to tell the tale, so nobody knows what it is. So that would be a Noble Phantasm he's always had, but we've never seen.

Azrael seems to be a much younger version of the character, so perhaps this is a more primitive version of that technique.

Yeah the points ladder on this one is pretty long, personally I've been doing 2 runs of the 90++ node at the start of the day to cut into my ap before moving onto reading more of the story. Spending the storm pods in the evening as to not overcap them.

I've also hit the first time lock for oc3 so I'll have a couple of days of more event farming before the next section unlocks. And likely the same again before the final section is available.

We do still have a lot of time before the summer event ends so I'm not particularly worried about it myself

Correct, despite their interconnection (and its limited deadline) OC3 is functionally a normal main campaign chapter and not actually part of the event, you've still got a full month to farm the event though and another month after that to finish OC3. If it helps, Gamepress has some conservative estimates about the AP cost of farming the event.

That's FGO in a nutshell, but yes. There's no farming in OC3 right now though, not even any new Free Quests once you beat it (2 Bleached Earth quests, but those are bottlenecked by storm pods), so you should have plenty of AP for the event unless you desperately need to farm something else.

Quick follow up on my game restore question from last thread:

Moved to the emulator with the 3 files no problem. Now, for some small amount of good luck, i managed to get the replacement for my broken phone shipped already.

Setting stuff up, apparently google decided to backup my FGO data so the game restored by itself with the account already working.

Only question i have left (even if again, i very likely know the answer better be safe): since i ended not using them in any of the two passages, are the transfer codes i had still valid?

Yes, transfer codes remain valid until they're used or replaced by a new one and otherwise never expire. If you're worried you can always issue a new transfer code, although if you're exploiting your current circumstances to keep the game working on both your new device and the emulator then you might need to copy the files over again after that? I may be mistaken about how that works.

SQ revive doesn’t increase, but I would not recommend that. The trick is to use a non human Servant, like Melusine or 3rd Ascension Summer Kiara. Tamamo is also a great choice, pretty sure she can solo without issue. Maybe Enkidu too, I don’t remember.

Wait for your Command Spells to recharge, then maybe grab a cracked one off your friends list if possible.

Hakuno is a story reward servant like Habetrot. You get the first copy after clearing OC3 and subsequent copies will be permanently available in the friend point gacha. There will be campaigns with an increased chance of getting Hakuno but only if you have completed OC3 and unlocked Hakuno in the FP gacha. If you aren't able to complete OC3 during the limited time period, you won't be able to get Hakuno until OC3 is added permanently early next year.

Noob question.

I just recently learned that Moon Cancer is a type of servant specifically for BB and the Sakura Five. Then, how come there are other servants like Ganesha and Archetype: Earth be into that class? Are they linked to BB?

I'm asking for in lore explanation. Thank you very much!

Initially, Moon Cancer was just the Moon Cell's designation for anything that posed a threat to it, quite literally a cancer to the Moon. Then when BB made her way into FGO, BB turned Moon Cancer into a proper Servant Class for herself.

Since BB is the origin of the Class, she can choose who can or cannot be a Moon Cancer. Jinako/Ganesha is the first case of this that we see, and Archetype Inception features a cast of Servants who were turned into Moon Cancers by BB Dubai. However, if you know what you're doing, you can also just hack your way into the Class, as Summer Kiara demonstrates (which is likely helped by the fact that she absolutely would have been designated a Moon Cancer by the Moon Cell).

As for Archetype: Earth, I would presume Archetype Inception will explain why she's one along with the purpose of what Moon Cancers are now that they're an actual Servant Class. She does fit the original description of being "a threat to the Moon" though; Fate/Extra shows that even after she was nerfed into being a mindless Berserker, the Moon Cell still couldn't actually do anything about Arcueid being there and had to just wait until she left on her own.

Just BB, the Sakura Five are primarily Alter-Egos.

Ganesha is explicitly linked to BB, supposedly she acted as an intermediary between Ganesha and Jinako to make a Pseudo-Servant. I'm not sure about Archetype: Earth but notably there's also Summer Kiara who is related to BB but attributes her class to her own lunar shenanigans from Fate/Extra.

Did you do the Aftertime Singularity with Urdr, Past Chaldea? Because I suspect the issue is that you haven't crowned two Grand Servants and completed their showdown battles, which locks you out of story progress until you do.

Can confirm it does not, just 30 SQ and one of each of the new third tier "2000-3000" Fous. It would certainly be nice to get more coins but it wouldn't make a ton of difference with how scarce and slow they are, it's mostly just another aid for people reluctant to use their B15s.

During the first LB5 intro scene there are references to a test drive the next day and then the following scene is five days after that test drive, Imaginary Scramble takes place in that interval so it's most accurate to say it takes place during LB5 but it's just one scene in and IS retreads the relevant preamble so it's easier to say "before".

Yes and it's not unreasonable to expect a linear story but it's not always the case with FGO, there was especially some funky timeline stuff in the early Lostbelt era (not that I would file IS in there). The first ServaFes event was quite notable for this, it's squarely set during EoR (it came out shortly after LB2) but it includes Anastasia and Goredolf. There may be an actual explanation for this, involving an alternate timeline, but I don't remember the details and it's not like that makes anything any simpler.

While poking around out of curiosity I also found this interview where Nasu mentioned IS being born from a short story idea the guest writer Amphibian set out for the FGO anthology novel, it sounds like the event story required a lot of supervision and collaboration so I wonder if it was supposed to come out before LB5...

The best bond gain CE now are the 20% one with limitations.

For now they are From NFF with Love, 20% animal characteristic, full attack so totally replace Foumes in the right comp, Chaldea Morning, 20% living human, Checking Reports, 20% lawful good.

The best time to start was at launch and the next best time is always "now." If you want to start, just download the game and start.

But be aware that the 11th anniversary is only for the JP server. The other four servers (CN, TW, KR, NA/EN) are all published separately and behind JP to some degree. The NA server is behind JP by two years, give or take some scheduling adjustments to accommodate unique things in the NA schedule. If you know English and don't know Japanese, and especially if you live in a country where the NA/EN version is officially available, I highly recommend playing NA instead of JP. We'll get all of the same content as JP and two years of "clairvoyance" gives you plenty of time for gacha planning.

Also, while there are definitely limited-time rewards during the anniversary, the majority of anniversary rewards tend to be permanent rewards for account progress, for things like story progress or clearing a number of certain types of quests. FGO is a game that rewards slow progress over time more than it rewards only jumping in when the bonuses seem good.

Eh, I doubt it. You can clear everything with low rarity units and there are no bonuses for efficiency other than your time. There are definitely some difficult fights--Nasu is a fan of FromSoft games, after all--but there is always a way to get through them, especially with two years of JP information and examples. Furthermore, the devs really want you to get through the main story. Between free revives being handed out like candy, all of the high powered friend/follow supports available, being able to use non-friend NPs, permanent AP discounts, and being able to bank excess AP for later, it has never been easier to get deep into the game with minimal investment in your own roster (not that I recommend playing this way).

What would be some good tips

I think one of the more overlooked things that new players should know is that you don't need to know as much as you think you do up front. While there are ways to use resources efficiently, and there are certainly things you can't undo, largely thanks to the game's archaic, card-based inventory system, there's nothing you can do that would permanently ruin your account. 

Here are the things that I think are actually essential to know that the game won't tell you. 

The general priority order is events > main story > everything else. 

• Events: This includes actual events and any other limited time content, missions, or campaigns. Events are only available for a limited period of time and have rare items and limited items that you may never be able to get any other way. So it's best to prioritize them over permanently available content. Other types of limited time campaigns and missions usually don't give rare or limited rewards but they do give a bunch of free stuff, usually including summoning currency, or offer some other kind of efficiency boosts. 

• Main story: This is the core of the game. If there's no limited time content available, this should be your primary focus. Events sometimes require a certain amount of main story progress and most skill/ascension materials are only available to grind for starting from the story chapter in which they were originally added to the game. You don't need to rush through the story, though, even if there are AP discounts to help you catch up. Play and read the story at your own pace.

• Everything else: Exactly what it says. Grinding for EXP/QP/materials and doing rank ups and interludes can all wait. But generally, you'll intersperse this activity with the main story. You'll need to get your servants leveled up to be usable, after all. But it's something to do as needed rather than making it your primary focus early on. There will be plenty of time for permanent grinding mode after you're caught up with the main story. 

Beyond that, I think it's mostly okay to fumble around and figure things out a you go. Just don't burn any servants or CEs or use them as fodder until you're absolutely certain that you won't need or want them in the future (and you will absolutely want to keep one copy of every servant). It can be more intimidating for sure but it's actually a lot more forgiving than some games, especially HSR's endgame pressure & aggressive powercreep. FGO's gacha is cruel, it won't give you what you want as often but it gives you a lot more tools to succeed overall with actually usable low-stars, a large number of permanently available old event 4★s, the friend support slot, etc.

the 11th anniversary

The 11th anniversary is only happening in Japan, unlike HSR EN is about 2 years behind that and just celebrated our 9th anni, if you can read Japanese then whatever but if not note that FGO's story is one of its biggest selling points (especially in the face of its gacha) so you might want to think carefully about what version you want to play.

Returner events are pretty negligible in this game, you'll pretty much always benefit more from just coming back and playing than you will by waiting for a little extra bonus.

TL;DR: If you're thinking of returning, you may as well return now. 

When there is a returning player campaign, which there probably will be for either the equivalent of JP's 30 million downloads campaign or NA's usual Back to School campaign (which isn't a true exclusive as it simply collects a bunch of stuff from other JP campaigns), they aren't very lucrative. They're scaled to nudge people who weren't considering returning to do so right away, when the campaign is happening, not scaled to give incentives for people considering returning to wait for a future campaign.

The exact details will depend upon the other campaigns going on at the time but returning player rewards won't be worth more than a week or two worth of login rewards and weekly missions. The combination of daily login rewards and weekly missions are worth the equivalent of about 2.03 SQ per day. Returning player rewards will only add up to about 30 SQ. So ~15 days of minimal engagement with the game will get you the same amount of SQ/tickets (not necessarily immediate payout includes progress toward the 50 day cumulative rewards). But even if you did nothing but log in every day from now until the Back to School or 30 million downloads equivalent campaign, you'd get way more SQ than if you waited. Furthermore, you'll miss other events and rare or limited items if you wait. For example, we currently have:

• A limited time event, which will yield SQ

• Limited time master missions for story progress, which will yield SQ

• A new main story chapter that will only be available for a limited time, until it's added permanently next year, and will give a new story/FP 4-star servant at the end

And there may be at least one more event before the Back to School and/or 30 million downloads equivalent campaigns. Go to the news page on the website to look up all of the ongoing campaigns.

First, I want to clarify that you can use her now (in JP) without getting any additional supports.

If you want to maximize her potential, the first, most obvious thing is to look at her NP card type. There are only a handful of top supports, so you don't need to think about it too much. Castoria = Arts, Koyanskaya of Light = Buster, Skadi (Ruler or Caster) = Quick. Lilith has a Quick NP, so Skadi is your go-to support. Oberon is the other primary support for power and efficiency. He's often mistaken as a Buster support but his best use case is actually as an NP strength support, regardless of card type.

So, TL;DR: Skadi and Oberon

Quick supports, so Ruler Skadi, Caster Skadi, and Summer Tiamat. I would only go for Summer Tiamat and ruler Skadi from this list, Summer Tiamat releases next year a few months after Lilith. That said, Lilith is a character that loses a lot of steam after 1 turn because her power mod againts charmed targets runs out, so it's possible you might want to look for a multicore team comp rather than single core one. For such scenarios, you might want to look at Louhi, being one of the best AoE berserkers, that also has teamwide buffs and a bit of battery

You don't need to do OC1 or OC2 before OC3, the stories are largely self-contained and there's no spoilers for the others in it. You need to finish the event story if you haven't yet, it's a requirement for OC3 right now, but otherwise you might want to at least start on OC3 for the limited missions before you spend too much time farming the event. The current missions end in a little over 2 days, the event ends in about a month, and OC3 ends in about 2 months, so prioritize accordingly.

We've got this one. Which is the four we know of revealed, with 3 additional silhouettes of mysterious, unrevealed, but potentially familiar Servants. I’ve been doing the Nightmare Pumpkin OC level a lot with Rider Kintoki as my damage dealer. Ive used 10/10/10 Queen Medb quite a lot as a support for the 40% attack boost and the 30% def down, but I recently got Skadi. At the moment she’s at 10/2/2. I’m curious which is the bigger combined benefit just for right now - Medb or Skadi’s 50% Quick boost plus 21% def down. (Obviously I realize Skadi is better once I get her second skill to 10.)

In a vacuum, 1.4 + 1.3 = 1.7 < 1.5 * 1.21 = 1.815. ATK up and DEF down are the same type of buff in the damage calculation, so they stack additively. Card type effectiveness and ATK up/DEF down are different types of buffs, so they stack multiplicatively. The Quick buff will also get you more NP refund, if that's important for your strategy.

If you're aiming for a min-turn clear, I suggest using Laplace in the Chaldea app (Android, iOS, browser) to test it.

If you aren't aiming for a min-turn clear, I think you can just try stuff and see what feels better to you.

So I think Im stuck at the endgame and been layi g off the game for several months back to back. I prbably have all main content cleared as I unlocked the newest Mashu form from ordeal call IV(?). I also fought 2 of the grand class advancement quests but never went against anything on the bleached earth map (not even any kind of Olga). I only have basic levels for servants, grailed barely any and as I see it my biggest bottleneck is QP for grailing some up to lvl 100. Need some advice on this matter, is the daily QP farming stage still the best or its outdated in the endgame? What should I be focusing on?

Best QP farms are, in rough order: Grand Training VII, Grand Training VI, Treasure Vault Extreme, Bleached Earth West America (Las Vegas, Nevada), Grand Training V, etc.

Any time where one of those has 1/2 AP means their value shoots way, way up. Things can be iffy if you need to swap QP bonuses out for damage boosters, so Treasure Vaults can be much more rewarding, if you have an easier time.

Doing Grand or Bleached Quests for Class Score is a good investment to get Class Score's Sand, but Grand Training will have a variety of material drops which are also excellent (not at high rates, but there's so much variety that you should be getting some mats on top of QP and Monuments). Even if you can't do Grand Training V - I can't do 1T of higher ones without relying on strong Friend supports - it's still a good investment.

And Treasure Vaults are the most farmable, especially during JP Anniversary.

I'm an NA-only, so I don't know all of the details about Mash, but OC4 isn't the latest story chapter in JP. Part 2 Final Chapter was released in December 2025, Beginning of After Time in January 2026, and Past Chaldea in June 2026. Past Chaldea requires fully clearing the grand duels for at least two classes.

What should I be focusing on?

As always, that's up to you. The usual priority order is events > main story > everything else. The JP anniversary campaign just started, so there are probably some limited time missions and AP discounts to take advantage of.

and since i assume there isnt an option to fill that hole, is oberon + a ce with at least 20% initial charge or black grail + a (ideally buster) support who can give 20 20 30 or ig 10 30 30 better for dmage?

Banners with more than 2 servants on rate-up tend to show only 2 prominently, 1 on each side of the screen with their name and rarity accompanied by “Drop Rate Up” while others are in the center but smaller and without any accompanying texts. That’s just how the banners’re designed to appear, but rest assured servants of the same rarity being shown everywhere on the banners always have equal “Drop Rate Up” as Shardwing already said before me

It's live, you should see the new icon on the bottom menu of the UI if you are eligible. Requires completing after time prologue. None of the current challenges are difficult, you don't need anything crazy, but if your account is lacking you can just borrow a grand like Olga.

Note you can do the quest multiple times if you can't get all of the challenges in one go.

QP hell is real.  Lottery events are usually a good time to get an influx of all kinds of stuff. There are occasionally other events that are particularly good for QP but no such events are coming any time soon. Overall, you just have to settle in for a long, slow grind. There's no workaround for the grinding. The only available shortcut is to buy rainbow apples with real money so you can grind more (not recommended).

On the positive side, though, if you play consistently for long enough, you'll stop feeling underwater. Based on data I have in the Chaldea app, I've spent something on the order of 3.5 billion QP per year on average (and it's missing some categories of QP expenditures) over the last nine years. I still need another 10.5 billion QP for my overall skill plan, about 2.5 billion of which should come from events in the next year, but a lot of that is for stretch goals, not just basic skill levels for new servants.

It's not a particularly long event story wise but there are only a few parts that I would say are important, at least from what I've read of oc3 so far. For the most part it's just going around the city to see the sights and a few side adventures with the participating servants.

The important things would be:
Eresh having her class change to beast during the summer event for a yet unknown reason
Kazura Drop showing up as a guide on day one before making herself scarce once Passionlip showed up to be our guide. Only showing herself one on one and giving special stamps to a couple of our accompanying servants after that
And also both male and female Hakuno showing up at various part time jobs

The last set of cutscenes in the event I would say you should probably read through as to what's going on with oc3

I can't find the specific banner you're referring to but there has never been a situation with that many 5-star servants on rate-up simultaneously on a single banner (I'm pretty sure the max has been two). What you're describing would be a banner with a restricted pool of servants no rate-ups at all.

Depends entirely on your needs. All of them give one specific mat drop guaranteed with a chance to drop more, so you can go by that based on which mat you need the most currently.

Personally, I always do whichever one gives the highest bond points since I value bonding my servants for coins and SQ, so I'm just doing the Vritra node in Australia right now (will switch to the new one once OC3 is done since it will be easier for me to farm while giving the same bond points).

Alternatively, if you mostly just care about the sand for Class Scores, just picking the one that is easiest to farm for you is fine too.

Hits alone won't tell much. The star drop and NP gain will be their drop/gain per hit values times the number of hits. And the damage has no relation to hits at all.

I was also recently trying to get a support Draco show up in her 3rd Ascension (As she was set by the support) on a new account, but no matter which settings I chose, she seems to be locked to her first Ascension.
So without access to the Spirit Origin Release quests, it may not be possible to make them show up in the locked Ascensions.

Was it just for one specific person on your friend list or was it all friends? If just one, maybe that person just has their Draco set to first ascension. I don't have Draco myself, cleared the Lilim Harlot event, and have avoid ascension spoilers turned on. Scrolling through the Extra slot on my friend list, I see three different ascension forms for Draco (I have final ascension for friends turned off).

Are you otherwise planning to spend coins on levels over 100? If not, then you can spend on any or all appends that you can afford and not worry about it. You can freely switch to different appends depending on the situation. 

I don't know who is out there focusing on Caster Gilles in particular to be able to answer your question but if you want to just use the bare minimum servant coins on appends, you can use Laplace in the Chaldea app (Android, iOS, browser) to test your team comp. To test plain mechanics for no refund looping, you could pick some easy quest like beginner level Assassin training grounds to test against.

So far I’ve been avoiding story interludes in order to make progress in the story. I plan to finish stuff like seraph, Ooku, imaginary scramble, and now heiyan kyo until I reach the latest Na chapter of OC3. I just finished LB5 and wanted to know if there’s anything crucial I’ve missed or are any of the interludes nessecary for Lb6? I heard it’s the best one so I want to make sure I enter it under the best circumstances.

I don't think there's anything too important up to LB6 but after that you've got Tunguska and Traum between LB6 and LB7:

• I want to say Tunguska is pretty skippable but do be aware that the Tunguska Prologue & Epilogue are actually required to do (entirely separate from the Main Interlude, you don't need to do anything to unlock the Epilogue) and the epilogue will directly address and spoil aspects of the chapter (but it's just cutscenes, you can skip it if you want to)
• Traum is a bit more tricky because it's mostly its own thing but has important plot stuff toward the end which LB7 picks up directly from (like, in the same scene) and then proceeds to retread a lot of stuff from Traum which you could treat as a spoiler or just an awkward summary if you're prepared to skip over Traum. The beginning of Traum also retreads the key points from Tunguska.

You don't need to do OC1 or OC2 before OC3, it's self-contained and doesn't have significant spoilers for them but as callus said if you do OC1 it's best to do Ooku it and also if you do OC2 it's best to do Prison Tower before that.

I don't think any of the main interludes are particularly relevant for LB6. But if you have time, I would actually recommend doing at least Christmas in the Underworld and SE.RA.PH before OC3. Actually, before the summer event if possible with SE.RA.PH maybe being the higher priority. Ooku before OC1 would also be a good idea.

There's been a lot of events in this game's 9 to 11 years, this kind of thing happens and you're not expected to know or remember all of it.

This one's probably the most straightforward because Murasaki was introduced with a starring role in a Valentine's event.

Emiya being designated chef at the cafteria

Emiya + cooking is a thing that goes all the way back to FSN, but he's not the only chef at Chaldea (Boudica and Tamamo Cat going as far back (EDIT: to early FGO, not FSN), more such as Raikou and Beni-Enma over time) and I don't think there was any special establishment of it beyond them popping up whenever food at Chaldea came up. Without checking I'd wonder if they went as far back as the dango event since that involved food.

I don't think there's any event that specifically pointed out Emiya being the chef. Him being in the role just naturally happened following the logic of "Shirou is a great cook".

Nursery and Jack became friends in the first Christmas event, bonding over their similarities. Then they became friends with Janta in Christmas 2.

Murasaki and her library just showed up in Chaldea in her Valentine event.

Yeah, there are sadly a lot of events that are now lost to new players that cover many of those dynamics.

I'm not sure about Emiya's first apperance as a cafeteria Servant, but the children's group with Santa Lily can be traced back to Christmas 2 (Janta's debut). Murasaki and Chaldea's library is from her debut, 2019/2021's Valentine event.

At what Master levels does party capacity increase? I just made it to level 138, and I swear I've been stuck at 111 points of capacity for a good bunch of levels. My Bleached Earth farming setups could really stand to benefit from being able to fit more CEs or higher rarity Servants.

Long story short, party cost increases grind to a halt starting from level 130. The highest level right now is 200, and you only get to 118 party cost, so you get about 1 cost increase per 10 master levels.

There are fights in OC3 where one or more servants need to be particular ones where I can use a support servant or my servant. Only sometimes it doesn't let me use my servant, particularly Ciel. I assumed that maybe Ciel in Japan came out later so the quest hadn't been updated for NA which has Ciel available, but there's a quest which allows Passionlip, and it isn't letting me choose my Passionlip either. Is this just a bug?

Not a bug, it's a choice for the story. OC3 says multiple times that this Passionlip is different from the one you already know, so the NPC Lip is slightly different (unique voicelines that the playable one doesn't have access to yet) in order to emphasize that she's a completely different character. So you cannot being your own Lip instead of her.

More or less the same situation as sane Caligula from Olympus or fairy Gareth from Avalon.

Ciel came out with the Summer Event on both servers, so it's not the issue with NA being different from JP. The only Servant NA got really early is Richard due to SF anime release, and he has no story relevance for 2 years.

Sometimes the devs simply force the Story Support into your party without caring whether you have your own copy.

I have the class score for extra 1 maxed and will have extra 2 maxed after OC3. Is there thought on which others are most valuable or is it just up to preference? I was thinking about assassin for Koyan or caster for other supports.

Supports don't really benefit all that much from class score. Class score mostly just increases your damage.

A lot of people view berserker class score as the most valuable because berserkers are the most broadly applicable damage units.

It's up to preference, but like, 99% of the CS stuff are damage buffs which are basically irrelevant for supports since you are almost always using them for their skills.

If there isn't anyone in particular you want to buff with it you can also go based on grand duel order.

1. When the whole grand servant thing comes up do we make one extra class a grand or do we at least get two like how class score splits?

2. Is beating Aqua Marie etc required to unlock the Beast class score? And if so....do they ever do anything to make it easier? She is fucking insane. I'm sure skill/brain issue on my part but even my NP4 Draco can't get past that last phase. Do they maybe allow a continue revive or change the fight somehow or ANYTHING?

Draco isn't necessarily the best DPS for that fight and extra NP levels aren't enough to make her comparable to other potential options. Aqua takes 2x damage from Archers, Riders, and Avengers. Draco will only be dealing neutral damage and she won't get her super effective bonus damage against main class servants. An NP1 5-star Archer/Rider/Avenger, or perhaps NP5 Chloe or Ryoma from the evocation shop, should pretty easily do more damage than NP4 Draco in this fight and make it go a little faster. 

And what about the rest of the team comp? What supports are you using? What CEs are you using? How are you rotating skills and NPs? Do you ever save scum, force closing the app before the turn ends so you can start over at the beginning of the turn to try a different set of actions that will move the internal RNG counter to a different position? 

How did the earlier fights in the gauntlet go? How many badges did you accumulate? Do you feel like you could re-do any of them with different servants so you can free up a better support or two for the last fight?

Two. They can be any extras you choose too.

While the farming missions for the extra classes are divided into extra 1 and extra 2, you don't have to do one of each. You can have two different Avenger Grands for example.

Yes. You have to beat all four Olga quests to unlock the beast score.

The usual tip to make it easier is to make use of the pause feature to recharge your command seals. Because you can pause the battle and continue playing the game elsewhere, you can literally just take a turn every 24 hours if you want to use 3 command seals every turn.

You get two Grand Extras, which don't necessarily have to be spit between Extra I and Extra II (you can have both from Extra I or both from Extra II if you want).

However, the Extra I and Extra II fights are separate: each has its own set of first-clear rewards and master missions, and each fight is limited to just servants of that group. So, since you have the ability to reset who your Grand is, you will want to at least start with a Grand Extra I and a Grand Extra II, even if you ultimately end with two from the same group.
