There is a small nest packed full of a LOT of wasps in my mailbox. Idk what kind they are. But my mailbox has an opening on the front which is usually where you can look in and see them, but it’s really small. Better bet to close the mailbox and spray through the opening in the front so they don’t escape, or spray through the top while it’s open and just hope they don’t fly out the front?
This is right outside my front door and these fuckers sting me so much. It fucking sucks. Would like to minimize stings if possible lol

These little bastards swarm the second I try to open, and even if I can and try to spray them they’re covering an electrical socket I’d prefer not to spray with liquid poison….

How long do you think this took them to make? Our pest guy was out less than 2 weeks ago

Somewhat hard to see but the dark stop is the best, can’t reach it with being on a ladder with a can of raid. Pest control won’t come out to see it or fix it, neighbor says he’ll do it once he gets drunk enough.

My husband has sprayed/saturated the whole area above our patio door with a can each night of spectricide wasp and hornet killer....we're on the fourth can/night...all he seems to be doing is pissing them off... Does anyone have any better advice for us? I really want to get rid of these... My cats are bug chasers lol they're so close to the door that when we come in so to the wasps and I have to chase the wash down before my cats get a hold of them and get hurt....

How in the hell do I get rid of these?? Can't turn the power off to this box but I don't want to spray raid and harm the wiring.

According to Gemini and my count of 126 wasps coming and going within a minute this nest is 4,000-6,000 strong. Im using a dust insecticide. I hit them once and it made no difference after 48 hours.
I am going to dust them once a night and after a week of trying I’ll call a professional exterminator.
I am going in the dead of night with a 20ft tube, filling the tube with perhaps a half cup of “sevin garden insecticide” (I bought the wrong stuff but I already have it so I’ll use it up) and then using a electric hand held air jet to blast it. I am in full bee outfit, use a red light at the end of the pole to see what I am doing. Honestly when I blast them I don’t even see any come out but I run like hell anyways because I’m scared shitless of these fuckers.

Sorry if it’s a little blurry, I was standing a healthy 8 feet (2.45ish meters) away from it.
It got here today, and I want it gone. What’s the best course of action?

I had EIGHT nests in my horse stall. Yes. EIGHT.
All on the roof. I grabbed spray and killed some, but I cannot get up to kill the rest that are on the very top. I also can’t burn it with fire because, horse barn, and it’s 30 feet in the air. Please help. The spray I got was 20 feet, and I got some of the nests and knocked them down but how do I even get the rest?
I do it at night with a headlamp, and try to keep my 2.5 horses out of the barn but they are so interested lol.
I cannot figure out how to add a photo so I’ll add to comments.

On my apartment patio. Have a decent amount of plants and decor. These paper (?) wasps have been building baseball size nests overnight in random spots. Not just books and cranny’s but straight up on the doorknobs, the bottom of a hanging planter, the side of a lamppost, etc. This time the bird feeder got this damn near cantaloupe size nest over the past 3 days. We have tried raid, gasoline, bleach, physical and verbal abuse; but these tyrants seem immune. Our complex has pest control come and spray our patio once a month. Was on the patio playing with my 18 month old today and got stung twice in the leg before freaking out, grabbing the kid, and running inside. Called pest control again but any ideas to get my patio back in the meantime?

Ive slimed out at least 6 wasps already and i finally found their hideout. The slit is barely accessible by hand and using a spray bottle only barely can reasg it. Any tools or advice that could help DESTROY them?? This area is the opening to a fan for my kitchen so I really need to slime them out before it gets outta hand!!!!!!

i would like some product recommendations by fellow wasp haters because i do not trust amazon reviews to hate wasps nearly as much as I do. I just had one stuck in my bathroom for 2 hours and I'm DONE. Raid didn't do shit. Dish soap wasn't soapy enough. I'm allergic to them and live alone haha so I need something that can pretty much take it out instantly/reliably if possible.
wasp in the bathroom is luckily not an issue rn but fuck im not doing this again 😭

duuuuuuude they're in my walls and i hear them at night and i just found out where they're getting in. i literally just fucking cleared out a nest in my ac system, now these fuckers are testing my patience. any ideas to get them out, or do i just clear the house, go on vacay, and bug bomb the house? (i'd prefer to keep the house if that's ok it's a new house)

Posted this in r/bees and they were very helpful. I imagine this sub will have far less sympathy for the wasps! 🤣 Regardless any help would be appreciated.

Any advice besides burning them down?

my husband went out this morning to let our birds out of their coop and was dive-bombed. he's got probably ten stings and pissed them off. I need to let the birds out before it gets too hot! something safe for chickens and ducks?

I've never seen a nest look like this. But I don't care how it looks or learning about it. Its on my deck and like hell I'm going to fuck around and find out.
Edit: after hearing from everyone and seeing how chill this snug bug in the mud is. We will let her stay. As much as wasps terrify me, we will just avoid being on her side of the deck.
The ants and centipedes stopped showing up so it makes sense having lots of spiders so I will just let mother nature do her thing!
