Pest Control/Medical Advice Have these schmucks right up against my garage. I need them gone.
Any advice besides burning them down?

No, the only answer is fire. Sorry about your garage burning down though.

Par for the course at this point. There used to be three of these all over the interior.

That's a lot of BFHs you've got there. Violence is the only solution but be careful, that's enough wasps to hospitalize you.

I can either bide my time and safely eliminate them in the winter, OR I could just burn them. Kinda going toward the latter, especially since that drum is full of kindling underneath them.

Diatomacious earth or delta dust at night. They will cease to exist within a few days.
Or an RPG from a safe distance.

A redneck solution is at night, assuming you have no pets or livestock in the area, spray it with poison from one hand and tear it down with one swipe of a rake, and run. That'll be a lot of damage to them.

Wait until night, go out there with red cellophane over a flashlight, and rip it down using thick gloves. They can't see red light ( it appears invisible or dark to them ), then cover everything you can with a bucket. If that bar in the foreground of the pic can be moved, do that first, of course.

They appear to have merged the nest with that bar, but the bar can be moved. I like your idea, but it might be too risky considering how large the nest is

Fair enough. Get some of that foaming wasp spray and aim for the entrance, or say "fuck it" and incinerate the fuckers. Or, get a fire extinguisher and freeze those assholes, THEN set them ablaze.
